The plain fact is that Soul wars offers bad experience per hour. Even if you were to win the maximum zeal per hour (7.2, but that is very unlikely anyway, because of skips), you would still find this slower than regular training. Soul wars offers about 45k experience per hour in the melee skills, something that is almost doubled at armored zombies alone. My initial calculations proved that Soul wars was slightly faster than PC, which was stunning as you can imagine. However, those calculations were based on theory and not experimentation. My real results proved that I had not taken into account skippings and the 3 minute post game rest period. My initial calcuations proved far off, and I came out with a real value much lower than first theorized. compfreak847 is partly right and you are ignorant for denying the cold hard facts. Indeed soul wars is bad exp. compfreak847 claims, however, that certain high leveled methods are three times faster (such as armored zombies). This is false... armored zombies are only twice as good (if they were three times as good it would mean armored zombies would have to be 135k exp per hour!).

It's not a major problem to us, if you can access http://www.microsoft.com, you're safe. If you're running any form of linux, you're basically 100% safe from the worm :D Well that's good to know. My microsoft website is up. =)

Well I think we all know that's physically impossible. I know I'll never 'complete' the game, however I do set some very long and hard goals to keep me going.

Okay, did so much updates that I've decided to make it a whole new version. Enjoy version II. ;)

Actually they just updated the style of movement. :P 5 years of RS2, 5 more years to go. :D (from then on it slowly dies out with no updates :( )

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone. I will be doing a big update soon and I am just finishing up exp per zeal tables (which I think players will find more useful than formulas). I'm also improving the rewards section a bit. All your suggestions since my previous post will be taken into account as well.

I've worked with many clans; some based in world 2, 143, and 145. The most sucessful clan I've been with though is swp (however, I won't say the actual clan chat name, that would be leaking! You'll have to have that out yourself... ask around w145 if you're interested.).

Actually, he says it took him 145 hrs for 7.67m xp. That's about 53k xp/hr, which is equivalent to the experience you get performing slayer. He wasted a ton of potential doing this when he could have gotten a lot of slayer and HP experience. Doing slayer instead of soul wars, he would have gotten 2.55m hp xp and 1.91m slayer xp in addition to the strength xp. Also, armoured zombies are NOT anywhere near 150k xp/hr. Only dharoking skeleton monkeys gets you anywhere close to that, at 140-150k xp/hr. Zombies are 90-110k xp/hr. I don't mind the low experience per hour. I did soul wars because I find regular training extremely boring (especially slayer). I would have NEVER gotten even close to 99 str if I had done regular training that whole time... simply because its just too boring. Soul wars pits you against the smartest, most dangerous monsters in the whole game: Players. I enjoyed soul wars because I also got to command a clan chat. At some points I was actually master caller of w145, which meant that I decided which team won next.

Well if you think about it people don't generally use cities that much (perhaps with the exception of Varrock, GE). Most cities are composed of shops, but players can easily buy an tradable item they want in the GE.

There's one on runeHQ already however its a bit annoying to use. If tipit could make a very user friendly, good to look at house planner, it would eat all the other house planners out there. ;) There are about 4 other house planner programs out there besides runeHQ's... but they aren't as good as well. I would suggest you look at runeHQ's and try using it. Make everything like theirs but with these improvements: [*:l2d8d1dl]No scroll down menus. Have the choices of rooms on the side somewhere. [*:l2d8d1dl]Use keyboard shortcuts. They save a lot of time (example, the arrow keys could be used to rotate a currently selected room). [*:l2d8d1dl]Use prettier less messy pictures. [*:l2d8d1dl]BE SURE THE DOORS ARE CLEARLY VISIBLE. [*:l2d8d1dl]Install a quick way to delete rooms. [*:l2d8d1dl]When a room is placed, make it rotate so that its doors connect to any adjacent doors on other rooms. It's annoying rotating room after room in that runeHQ one. [*:l2d8d1dl]When two rooms are connected via stairs in different levels, make an indicator on both rooms that somehow tells the user that they are connected. [*:l2d8d1dl]Oh and here's a big thing: Have a function where you can move all the rooms at once in a certain direction.

Wow that is amazing. And I thought 75+ would be hard. :shock: I'm sure there are hundreds and hundreds of millions of gp into those skills. Since you posted in mine I'd thought I'd return the favor. :P

I tried this with a godsword to see how it compared to a dragon scimitar. I killed zombies for 2 hours and here is my average hourly rates 97 str, 85 att Gp per hour from drops: 105000gp Exp per hour: 76000exp Chrams per hour: 15 gold, 5 green, 4 crimson, 2 blue I'll be doing a dragon scimitar next and I'll post the results back here. What I've noticed is the absolute most efficient way is to have a decent def level with that same set up mentioned in the guide (pros legs). There's no need to 'tank' then because the creatures barely hit you. I'm 85 defense and I only have to eat out trout an hour continously killing zombies. Also, USE PIETY! It helps a ton... probably increases your xp per hour by 20%. No need to melee protect, it drains your pray so fast with piety charing prayer just gets really annoying.

Yes I know him. There's also another level 25 with 99 attack who had 1790 zeal yesterday. I believe he plays in w145 now and owns his own clan chat. Unfortunately he freeloads off his own clan, as does the level 25 you mentioned in your post. I did not leech a single game in my thousand. ultimatballr - I decided to use them on strength. ;)
