Odd. Three weeks or so ago when the new slayer points were released, I had to wait 2 days to buy mine back at max price that I foolishly (and unknowingly) sold before the update.

No. Why? Because players actually had a chance to log out before the player attacked them. It was what seperated the pkers from the occasional treasure trail hunters. A pker would run up to the incoming white dot to fight, while the tt-er, fearful of losing some armor or even the clue scroll, would log out immediately. It's not cheap, although it does sound like it. That's the way things were, and it was a good system. Besides, picking on innocent tt-ers makes pathetic pkers. But now there is no way you can log out when the hostiles of the wilderness attack you. Most of the revenants that attack you amazingly attack you outside your LOS with their first hit (before you can even see the yellow dot). It's very annoying... Luckily, revenants will never be as powerful as regular pkers. Ah, sometimes I miss those days when a two-team would burst me while the other guy ddsed me to death. I don't know about you guys, but I enjoyed that fact that I was bested by a player, a real human being, rather than a half-assed (good word for it) computer.

Very nicely done. But no battle scenes. I suppose runescape's combat system looks a bit outdated now compared to these new graphics, they probably didn't show PvP (a huge part of most MMO's) for a reason. I mean, after seeing those awesome scenes, who would want to see two players slashing at eachother with little red bubbles popping up in front of their character?

Are you blaming lightning users? You're far from correct. The spammers that spam both lightning and BSC are not from lightning in any way. In no way are the spammers on our side. Yes, chat spammers are annoying and I wish jagex would make a better way to get rid of them.

Very good method. I'm glad I'm not the only one who has discovered the limitless power of the bunyip! Delicious guide, easy to read, short and to the point. However, the requirements are pretty darn high; you ask for both a weapon that is 80M? and 90+ melee stats. I think I'll stick with ranging, but if I ever get an sgs I'll definitely try this method.

As long as it doesn't affect how the actual skill works, I don't care what they call a skill. Hunting would have sounded nicer though. ;)

Blog re-done

I don't know why some price difference gaps are so large with platelegs and plateskirts, I was pretty sure manskirts were okay in runescape. Heck, half the barrows leggings are skirts, and I see people wearing those everyday. Honestly, a skirt on a guy in runescape is normal to me. It looks fine (although who knows, with the new graphics coming up skirts may look worse on men).

I love how jagex' "foolproof" GE and trade limits didn't stop RWT at all like they claimed it would (I think they said something about eliminiating all RWT for good). RWT is still going on; bounty hunter, junk trading, all those little kinks that apparently jagex failed to see. Really, I'm sick of all this. Real world trading is here, jagex might as well give players back free trading, because at the moment players are the only ones who are suffering. Sorry... a bit off topic, but it's really been bugging me.

I cried when I lost my full mith to the jungle (poison). Good times. But that was years ago. Now if something like that happens (ex. I lost 15M to a scam a year ago) I would probably log out of Runescape and just sit in my room, trying not to think of what just happened.

That is the exact reason people bring familiars into the party room: to disadvantage others so they have a better chance at nabbing the balloons first. Agreed, the party room should turn into a no-no for critters and pets.

I'm not worried at all. We already have those fancy hydrogen cars, and in 5 years half of America will be driving them. Hell, then gas powered cars will be the 'old' thing, the out-of-style thing that nobody wants.

First off... you're expecting a visage from 262 kills? Try killing about 10 times more. My visage from irons came on the 2967th kill. On topic: You can't claim anything with 6-7 odd slayer tasks. Now if you did 50 or so and recorded every single task and the pattern still appeared then I would believe there is some bug.

I've posted already on the last topic... Anyway, the site looks excellent now (I was the guy complaining I wasn't submitting any drops until your site looks good), I'll be submitting my 3.7k dragon kills now. ;)

Not one of my favorite articles, but good read. The author seemed to be confused in some places. For example, forgetting that there are two seperate teams for content and graphics. What does he/she suggest, that jagex slashes one of these teams and puts them with the other? Very unclear point to this article.
