Nice blog, nice stats! Keep 'm coming! I had great use from the brews you traded me for my toadflax at the time of your 99 herblore goal. God I miss the absense of trade limits...
Use a dwarven stout (or a (m) ) for the last level or 2. Stewing works too, but you need a little luck and getting the spices might be a pain as well, so you might just get the level anyway...
I'd say 2000-2500 for the task. Surely, If you can stand the drag of forging them yourself, you can make the extra 500 or so to be on the sure side, right?
In several guides it is mentioned to use a ZS, thats why I bought it. (I also use it for some slayer tasks....) I do not have full void yet. It takes forever, even in 120+ clans. And I don't really like the mini game too much, so I only play for a small amount of time. Thanks for the advice, I'll try again shortly.
I don't seem to get this guy down. I met my "requiem" for 5 times now, and I'm getting frustrated that I can't beat this guy with my levels. What I use: Neitisnot helm Fury amulet Karils top Karils skirt Barrows gloves Dragon boots Zamorakian spear (stab) Diamond bolts in quiver Inventory: super attack and super strength potion (4) DDS for specs Rune cross bow Rest brews and super restores (4) in a 3:1 ratio brews to restores. War tortoise carrying more brews/restores in the same ratio. Before going in the tent, I brew, restore and pot up melee. Unleash DDS specs first, praying piety and magic protect all the time. I get him to 1/4 after he regains health. I have not seen the berserk melee attack yet. HELP!
stuff with a higher GE price then market price. Maple (u) bows are a good example, or poisoned arrows. They are used to "evn out" trades to evade trade restrictions.
If it is your lowest skill, Tears of Guthix once a week works wonders. Also, pending penguin points on it also works wonders, especially at levels that low (no offence). conventional training methods were explained above.
Since the topic starter has no 85 mining, Kuradals dungeon is probably best. Use the ferocious rinf for that extra edge, and pray them using the gear described. To save prayer (if you have no SGS) bring an EE to heal some HP when you tank them for a while. Consider bringing the holy wrench from the "Rum deal" quest to maximise the use of prayer potions. also, you can use zamorak brews instead of prayer potions, the are cheaper.
A pure is a pure -> no prayer. But how usefull would completing the diary be? And what is the fun/use of a pure anyways? Make the decision. In my opinion, pures are characters that exclude themselves willingly from certain content of the game to gain some benefit over others in another aspect of the game, that I personally don't enjoy. So for me, get the prayer levels. A few wouldn't mind that much anyways, I guess.
Use them to pay for your potatoes! Anyways... they are pretty useless to use as fertiliser, I only used them when I grew potatoes. Make super compost only, sell them if you want to. Every once in a while, when I have loads of pinapples in surplus, I just sell them for a few quick K. I profit anyways since 80 pineapples a day cost me 1 gp on average.
Getting 75 prayer is good to claim your reward from the latest Fremmenik quest, "blood runs deep". Its reward is 3x 150K xp in a combat stat, summoning excluded. You need lvl 75 at least, and it gives enough xp to get 78! So that's what I'm getting now, when I bought the bones. Also, what the above poster said.
Even the skeletal horror gets lucky some times. So are Bork and the Phoenix. Deflect only works when the horror uses a magic attack, which it doesn't when you pray protect from mage (or its curse). Despite havinf good anti-melee armor, it still hits quite high sometimes. I didn't find it to have become stronger.
IIRC, you also need skeltal parts of the daaganoths, like a ribcage or a filbula, depending on the armour you're making. Chack the item guide, I'm sure there's a link in there...
I really hate it when people do that... But it is effective. Like I said, use the tower, bring air strikes if you want to annoy people away. Or proceed slaying and use Kuradal and her private dungeon.
the abyssal plane (using fairy code) has a few abyssals. The ones in the slayer tower are much less spaced out, so easier to kill. You may have to switch worlds to avoid crowds, though. If you don't want to camp them (there are better ways to make money then camping abyssals) get slayer tasks from the new master, kuradal. She has a "private" dungeon where you can kill abyssals, and thus avoid crowds. Down side is that you can only slay any of the creatures there when you are on task, and the task has to be assigned by HER.
Do the ones that give the most points. All of them have some advantages (or a good reward), but I remember hunti for red raktuber and cold war being both quite fast, and give good rewards (penguin points). Catapult construction is also a short and easy quest.
All of the dailies reset at midnight GMT. Exceptions: sand, seaweed/pineapples from arhein. Also, the skeletal horror and ToG reset when you've last done them.
