  1. This guy is like a ball fountain with 100 settings.
  2. A strange topic indeed. I have a close friend who lies, however only boastfully and never in a way that would hurt someone. I don't know why he lies, but it isn't particularly bad. When people lie and hurt others in the process, it gets bad. I think some people are just compelled to lie, but their lies are never very intentional. There will always be the kid who claims to have a million dollars in their own personal bank account. I've never really come across a true liar, so I don't really know how to respond.

I've been pixelling for about two years, but "aeons" is relative to the other forums users in the gallery who have only been trying their hand at pixel art for months and stuff. ;@ Probably a poor choice of words.
  4. I've met all the current wallabies :\ I've had dinner with Andrew Johns. I saw the actor who played farimir in LOTR when I was in melbourne. I've met Mark Taylor and Paul Keating. There's more, however I can't remember them.
  5. This highlights pretty much everything that's wrong with your pixels. Low contrast, over-dithering, little and poor AA etc. You're so raw. :D I think you should really focus on fixing those three things in this piece. I would do an edit, but my hand's broken. You've got talent man, just practice correct usage of pixel art techniques.

Hiya Eckered. I think you should take a more casual approach to pixel art. I hate to sound self praising, but as an example, people on this board, like me and Ter (Ter being the prime example), who have been pixelling for aeons find ourselves improving and becoming more ambitious. We haven't fallen out, we've no-one to disappoint or to ridicule us for making boastful claims that we don't live up to. Yeah. Here's my first ever pixel sig as an example. I made this over 18 months ago. Seems longer. Even though it isn't as bad as most firsts, it shows me how I've improved in so many aspects of pixel art. ;@ Back then I thought it was shaded. :? Yeah, so the point is, chill out, have fun and just practice, learn, don't let anyone expect anything from you. You don't want to get caught up in scuffles when you could be out there practicing and learning.
  7. I've been told that McDonalds was frequently asked to lower their coffee temperature because it was at a dangerous temperature, and that the woman recieved very serious burns. Two very different situations.
  8. This is in no way the company's fault. The family were responsible for the care of the woman, not the electricity company. For the woman to have been unable to connect her oxygen machine to another source after several hours is just incredible negligence on the family's part. I think the article mentioning "Mercury's policy of profit over people" is ridiculous. It's not the electricity company's job to provide the woman with electricity when they're not being paid to, and if we all listened to every phoney sob story we've heard, our wallets would weigh a little less. This verges on defamation.

It sounds like your speaking from experience? I doubt it. Believe me, the first time you see many of your peers naked at the same time, your curiousity and apprehensiveness lingers far longer than 10 minutes. Even if you stop behaving as if you do, you'd still think about it.
  10. I reckon' condom man. It's even got the "storage compartment" at the top.
  11. 2/10.
  12. Hmmn, not sure if it qualifies, but I can do some basic gymnastic and capoeira moves, backflips, armada dupla etc. and on my skates I can do bio 5s, 720s and frontflips. Pretty basic stuff, but hard to learn. Broke my hand a week ago trying bio 7s. D:
  13. it looks like a studded condom  Oh my god, I just fell over at the thought of Deloriagod drinking that.

If that were as true as you insist, I'd see a lot more scrawny adolescents at Bondi Beach every weekend. You've obviously never been in the same situation. You'll either find it exciting (y'know, with your special girl), unnerving (when it's random girls), or well, different (Bubsa knows about this one). Unless you want girls to be looking there. :\

Who's to say you're looking at the men? I would personally ignore them (which would be pretty easy considering my attention would be focused on the girls.. Actually my attention is almost always focused on girls :-k ) I think that's a bit naive to say. You (not specifically you, anyone) would definitely be checking out some of the dongs that were swinging around. Just human curiosity. In all honesty, if you took away the attraction factor, I'd probably be more interested in the dongs. DG, why are you so focused on girls in that manner? You really do seem like a twelve year old sometimes. How is it acting like a 12 year old expressing the fact that you would look at a hot naked chick and have lustful feelings towards her? Its nothing different to that of how a 20 year old would act, while the only difference is in most cases the 20 year old would act on those feelings and take it a step further (you know what I mean - home run). Yes, sex obsessed, like a twelve year old or your run-of-the-mill bloke*. Neither are something most people would like to be represented as. Edit: *I refer to the 9-5 Joe with a beer-belly, who reads a "mens magazine" after downing his seventh beer. Etc.
  18. I love you.
  19. Well, I broke my hand, but I'll see what I can do. It may not be on time, but rest assured I will make some pixel art before my right hand heals. Sorry about not being able to give you my best effort Shade.

  21. I run 100m sprint and 110m hurdles, though it doesn't require supreme endurance, it takes explosive strength and a lot of dedication. In a 100m race, when you can see them, you've lost. I understand the endurance race feeling too though, because I have run marathons before. If a light jogs the majority of the race counts as running. Awesome job getting to state qualifying level. Everytime I've ever gotten to state level, a plethora of future olympians seem to show up. It's amazing you placed respectably. Man, I love running. ;P
  22. Ever try riding your bike 15 miles? It actually only takes 30 minutes. I've done it in about 25 before, but we were really truckin'. :P I'm aware though it's still very unpractical and most people would never do it. We used to do it on a loacal bike trail when we were kids almost daily. We'd ride from our town to the city on the bike trail so that we could ride around the city and stuff. Fun fun. It can be quite a challenge, I agree, however biking 15 miles even with poor fitness is far from impossible, and very rewarding. If I were you, Scn, I'd try it just once. Nothing is better on a freezing day than some good exercise to get you warm. Believe me, it's fabulous.
  23. Haha hair gel. Guidos.
  24. Ride a bike. I for one ride a bike everywhere. It's interesting to note how when I started I would rest every 30 minutes or so, and take it slow, however I now can ride large distances with a lot more intensity and almost never stopping. The benefits are far too great. Unless you live over 25km from where you need to commute, a bicycle is a much better option then any automobile.
