*quick fanfare* its ok now, im here! refer to the thread in my sig for all your psp vs f2p concerns! that said, i agree with the guys who think that the 100th quest should have insane requirements. that sounds like a good challenge :) whether its f2p or p2p, im sure that lots of people will like it and the rest will complain and whine like always. it would be nice if it was f2p, IMO. not because f2p deserves it, but because then everyone could enjoy it. after all, it is a momentous occasion :D

well, your question could be taken two ways. are you asking if the vents are as a fire or range, or if the vents are as good as a fire, or as good as a range? i personally dont know, but depending on how you wanted to ask that question, it has already been answered.

im gonna clear this up for you guys. its not you who are lagging, but jagex's servers who are lagging. they have all these new updates and an increased user load so they lag alot more than they used to. i never witnessed this happening until about a month ago, now it happens at least once every time im on :?

levels 1-40 eh... its kind of all a blur. i did all the quests i could, explored everything, even the wildy, i got some levels, and killed a bunch of things. levels 41-59 got serious. made some money, though not alot, began merchanting steel, got some rune armor, finished dragon slayer, and got even more levels and killed even more things.

my luckiest day ever would have to have been the day i met this now temporarily retired player and they gave me about 60k, 3 diamonds, rune kite, legs, and a bunch of other really cool stuff for no apparant reason other than that they were quitting. i was very gratefull :)

i like mine. neogeo0823. it means "new earth" and the numbers are my birthday. any hardcore newgrounds fans will note that thats what newgrounds was originally called. neogeo. also, its the name of that company that made all those multi game arcade machines which where THE coolest thing back in the day :D

mines neogeo0823. i dont expect people to remember the numbers, but i generally get things like: neo nea neageo neagea nawge neogew (jew?) nazi guy (neonazi??) noob newgeo etc. etc. the list goes on.

A. thats just horrible... ebays the same way. B. id advise you to remove that site link before a mod does. i dont think thats allowed here. C. it is inevitable that that would happen. if people can make a quick buck off of it, they will. whether its legal or not. some of these high level account can sell for hundreds if not thousands of dollars. sometimes, it makes me sick to think about it. :evil: :x

err... D'oh! tip.it needs to revise their randoms guide. i was looking up the official name for the golem (rock golem) and i mustve accidentaly hit the scroll bar and confused myself :oops: ill go take that out of there now

well, i can definately say that this has been the best week i have ever had when it comes to randoms. so far this week i have gotten 5 WOMs, my first maze and prison pete, a sandwich lady, two drunken dwarves, a rock golem, a capn hand, genie, highway man, and a swarm of bees. thats more randoms in one week than i have gotten in the past two months. i got some really nice rewards, to. i got 400 iron arrows, 200 steel arrows, 3 rubies, a diamond, about 5kgp, as well as the usual kebabs and sandwiches. has anyone else been as lucky with randoms this week? or was it just my time for some random back pay? post what interesting or unusual randoms you guys have gotten this or last week and any really good rewards you got from them.

yes, definately take a break to study. school comes before games all the time. this seems like a good idea for you if you know that people begging for money will deter you from playing. ill add you to my list, but instead of begging for 10k, ill beg for 20k just to double motivate you :P good luck on your exams. now go study!

thanks for the kudos :) like i said, i knew that this would never fly in runescape, but it would make a cool system. to the guy who said everything would have to weigh something, thereby limiting ranger/mages: the change wouldnt be that huge. maybe every 1k arrows/runes could be 1kg. if your going pking or training in a very dangerous place, why would you bring 10k items to it? common sense would tell you to bring 1 or 2k to train with in case you die.

being slightly pessiistic tonight, are we? granted, the numbers may have to be tweaked, but think of it, anyone but a pure miner wouldnt have too much trouble with this method. all you have to do is train up your strength levels a bit and you can carry more. its not that hard, especially at the lower levels. plus it would benefit those that train strength more, so in a wayit might discourage autoers to an extent.

correct me if im wrong, but a rune essence doesnt weight anything now, correct? with this system, each essence would have to weigh something, so maybe one or two kg each would be fine. as for actual runes, they would still weigh nothing because you can allready carry an infinite amount of them. also, why base everything for rs2 off of rsc? granted one is the older version of the other, but they are essentially two seperate games now, so why should the newer game be based on the older one?

yeah. i never said they should change it, but it would make it more interesting, dont you think? you could carry so much more than now because of it. or soo much less if you dont plan right.

well as of now, we can hold a total of 28 items in our inventory, regardless of physical size and weight. this has worked well for the time being, but i think it would be interesting to see the inventory arranged a different way. i think it would be cool to see a weight limit imposed on inventories instead of a number limit. for example, as it is now, you are able to carry 28 items, whether they weight 0kg or 20kg each. this means that you could, in theory, carry many, many times your hypothetical weight, much like a common army ant. what i think would be cool to see would be a system where you can carry a set amount of weight, regardless of how many items make up that weight. this weight limit could be effected by your strength level as well, since logically, you could carry more weight if you were stronger. so, for example, at strength level 1, you can carry, say, 30kg. then as you level up strength, you could carry an additional 2 or 5kg(whichever would be more convenient for the game) which would allow you to carry more items. im not saying that this is something that jagex should impliment, because i know that they would never do such a thing, i just think it would be cool if that were the system. what do you guys think?

ok, i know exactly how the universe began and im going to describe it to you in as great a level of detail as i can. ok, first you take a bath tub made of the darkest ebony. but the bath is conical. just bear with me here. its a conical bath. now you take that bath, and fill it with white sand, or sugar or something like that and you pull the plug out of the bath. now heres the brilliant part. you film the sand as it drains out of the bath, ok? and then, you play it back in reverse, so that it looks like the sand is coming up from the plug and filling the bath. well, thats not exactly how the universe began, but its a great way to relax!

the first of two types i hate most are those that run around the training spots calling everyone a noob and then laugh when they "steal" a monster first. the other type i hate are scammers who do the most obvious scams. like they nk that no ones ever seen those before and theyre such a genious for doing them :roll:
