generally no, he cannot get you on any charges, exept for possibly some minor pain and suffering, but that would probably be a waste of time. If what you said is true and the fight was minor, then all that is likley to happen is a suspention of both of you from school. Assult charges are usually for cases when some one was beaten to a bloody pulp. All in all, from what you said, you can probably expect a suspention from school for a few days, but not much else. Usually things that happen on school property are handled by the school unless its somthing big.

If only we got somthing as intresting as fighting in school.............. unfortunately, where I go to school has no violence whatsoever so theres nothing intresting like that around. Everyone is annoyingly tolerant and well behaved, and well it would be nice to get some more interesting situations. no, you do not need a new psu. if theres lights on your motherboard and on the computer, then your power supply is fine. My guess would be that when you shorted the usb ports, you somehow shot the motherboard on your computer, judging by what is wrong. Replacing a motherboard for an older computer, like yours can be a pain. Just recently I had a similar computer to your's fry a motherboard. Your first option would be to buy another from dell for about 100$ or you can go to one of the sites listed in the stickies in this forum for a parts supplier to find a motherboard. Finding a motherboard would be somewhat difficult as you would have to match up the memory types and processor types to get a fit. its funny because in the US handguns are legal and are the most common gun crime guns, but assult rifles, machine guns, and other millitary weapons are outlawed in most states, and the last time a millitary catagory weapon was used in a gun crime was in california when 2 bank robbers ran into a bank with ak-47's about 20 years ago. Its all about what people percive as dangerous. Machine guns are more dangerous then handguns, but they are also much more expensive and impossible to tote them around everywhere, making them not very useful for crimes. Also, using a gun for self defence in the us is perfectly legal. I had a friend whos dad shot some guy who was attacking him in the gut, and although the guy didnt die, the gun was confiscated for 2 days and returned to him with nothing bad happening to him.

it all depends on where you live. In the united states, in some states you can carry a gun around consealed with no permit and no one will yell at you, in some states you need a permit and in some you cant carry one at all. Generally it all depends on how liberal the state is, but to awnser your question I would need to know where you live. England has fairly liberal laws, and I think its illegal to carry one around, but they just take it away and give you a small fine.

if you unplug the mouse, you can dip it in almost any non- corrosive solution and it will be fine, as long as you remember to dry it before you plug it in. That should work, but If i were you, 20$ will get you a nice optical mouse. nothing fancy, but it will work better then any ball mouse.
