A Small Backlight Problem...
opening monitors without experience working on monitors or a degree in electrical engineering is a BAD idea. Lcds are not as bad as CRT's, but the charge contained in both of them, stored for months on end can kill you if you touch them. Call a repair shop first.

Age Discrimination
It is all about how you act. Im 12 and I have never had a problem on these forums with people not taking me seriously except for possibly the Sudan topic because I usually make well informed, intelligent posts. Even though the stereotype is annoying to people, like you and I that are mature and dont act like idiots on these forums or anywhere else, 75% of the people who play runescape that around <12 are idiots. Most of my classmates are, and its just a fact of life. Just don't talk about your age much until your already respected and you will be fine. Oh and victor, I thought you were from Indiana or Illinois?

Behavioral stages of players
I never really used lots of slang or begged etc, but over time I have used slang less. I would say that for me I started the mature player stage around level 60, although I never really used the word "noob" much. Otherwise, for the average player, those steps are fairly accurate.

all of the top 5 people on the high scores have tipit accounts, but not all of them use them regularly. zezima does not use zezima as his username.

??~~??Most Annoying P2P Quest??~~??
mornings ends 2 definitely. I had the minimum possible agility level when I did the quest, and I failed the ledge 190 times, using tons of food and prayer pots in the process.

Best Graphics card to get on a budget?
The 8600gt is not faster than the 7900 series. They both trade blows in the benchmarks, but the 7950gt wins most (if not all) benchmarks against it. Other than that, your post hit dead on with the facts. It is sometimes better to get the last generation card than the current generation because you can usually get a better preforming card for less money. Tell us if you have an AGP or PCI-E graphics slot, or I might suggest graphics cards for the wrong slot. EDIT: If you plan on running Vista anytime within the next 1-2years please let me know, because you might be better off with a new dx10 card than dx9. I said a 8600 because of dx10 capability. when the new dx10 games come out, the fact that the 8 series cards will be native to dx10 will allow them to beat the 7000 series. Also, a 7950 is still like 400$ US, more canadian, so its out of his budget.

Silly Detention.
Wow, you people have crazy schools! I talk in class constantly, sleep, mess with things, installed proxy's on all the school computers and ive NEVER gotten in trouble. Heck, I gave one of my teachers a detention today, lol. I asked one of my teachers in 2nd period if I could have some blank detention slips, and she gave me like 60, so I took them and in my fifth period class, when the teacher started talking, I announced "Mrs Pierce, you have a detention for talking in class!" and I walked up and gave her a detention slip filled out with me marked as the teacher. Everyone laughed, including the teacher. (there is like 15 people in this class)

Memory Problem...
you dont need memory, you need a new hard drive (what you are referring to as holding 35 gb) A hard drive is fairly cheap, and you can get anywhere from a 80gb one for 50$ to a 500gb one for 150$. I have no idea where you live but on newegg (only ships to us) you can get a 320 gb drive for 79.99$ here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6822136074 note that before you buy any drive, look in you computer to see if you have an open hard drive bay (3.5 in bay) and if your computer uses IDE or SATA cables to connect the motherboard to the hard drive. IDE cables are long, usually grey cables that are flat and very wide, where SATA cables are usually thin, round cables that are red. Make sure you buy a drive that supports that format. my guess would be that your computer uses IDE cables however, given its age. Or if its a laptop or you don't want to open your computer, you can get a usb external hard drive like this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6822148233

Best Graphics card to get on a budget?
Well you are looking at the memory which is not a very good indicator of the best cards out there. Generally, the higher the rating (geforce 6 not as good as 7, 7 not as good as 8 etc) the better the card, because each successive model is newer then the last. Though its somewhat higher then your budget, I would go for the EVGA 8600 gts here: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/ ... CatId=1560 If its just if its just oblivion your looking for, that will get you 70+ fps just fine and run just about any other current game you can throw at it except possibly flight simulator 10. essentially, take it this way: the biggest indicator of the power of a card will be the first of the four numbers on the name, the higher the better, which means a newer model. Look for a 8 series nvidia card or a 2 series ATI card. Then the next most important numbers are the next 3, which generally tell you how the card falls in the company's lineup. for both ati and nvidia, the 800 or 900 series cards are high end cards, the 500 - 600 series cards are mid range cards and the 100 - 300 series cards are lower end. the memory then comes next, so Nvidia 8600 gt is better then a 8600 series card with lower memory, but its still faster then a Nvidia 7900 series card with 512 mb of memory. Next theres the brand, like xfx, evga and foxxcon for Nvidia or Saphire for ATI. these dont matter very much, as they just buy the chips and circut board designs from ATI and Nvidia and brand them themselves, but its still wise to go with a good brand as they handle your customer support. I would recommend XFX or EVGA for an Nvidia card, Or Radeon, Ati's in house brand for ATI cards.

What's the story behind your RS name?
My name (snipersas) came from the fact that I was, and still am a big player of the battlefield game series (bf1942, bfvn, bf2, bf2142 etc) and I always pick the sniper class, and I got some very big kill counts. The name itself I took from the name of another person playing a game online called ground control 2 because I liked the name.

STOP GENOCIDE IN SUDAN AND UGANDA!New Video!!
I said this before, give each person 30 packages of ramen noodles with chemical heating pouches, 5 gallons of water and an ak47 with 2 clips of 30 rounds each. give it a week, problem solved. AK's are given away like candy over there, and we have all seen what a group of pissed off Africans with guns can do in Somalia, so if we do this we get = hordes of pissed off, well fed, well armed africans looking for revenge. Just add a "peacekeeping force" of a few hundred millitary stratigests and the problem is solved!

Overclocking
Semptrons just aren't designed to be overclocked. All of their BIOS functions are locked, and the processor's heat sink and fan are not built to handle the extra heat that overclocking generates. did you build the computer yourself, or did you buy it prebuilt? newegg only carries one socket 754 add-on cooler, which is here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6835106096

Airplane on a treadmill
No lift means no takeoff, unless you have a VERY powerful airplane such as a fighter that has a big enough thrust to weight ratio to takeoff without needing lift.

When is your Birthday?
does that depend on the international date line or drinking laws?
