  1. could you explain a little more? we cant help you if we dont know whats wrong.
  2. To awnser simply, yes. This should work. As long as you have 2 dvi/vga ports total on your graphics card(s) it should be fine. BTW how much did you pay for the geforce 5200? I didnt know they even made pci cards for over 200$.
  3. Not all of them are extremists, in fact, very few of them are extremists, hence the title "extreme". But when you don't fit the definition of a group, you are not usually part of that group. That statement is part of the definition of hippies. What you said would be like calling a yellow orange a banana. It just doesent fit. As far as free speech, I never said I would deny them the right to do whatever the hell they wanted.... as long as it wasnt breaking any laws, which in this case they were, according to that news story they attacked a sheriff, which is a law in my book, and illegal even if you are a hippie. Refresh me again to where I said all hippies where tie-dye shirts In this case, yes. If you want to change something, there is much better ways then deliberately annoying your neighbors and attacking the police.
  4. Mate I live in Asheville and I think you need to shut your mouth. They were not hippies and what the hell do you have against hippies? It is still unclear whether or not they did punch the officer. There were witnesses who claim that they locked the door and went to call the police and the police man then, with force knocked the door down. from wikipedia. I don't even need opinions to convey my point. Aside from that, all hippies I have ever known have been idiots, and completely worthless people. If that actually happened as the sheriff said it, then they assaulted the police officer right there and he therefor has a duty to enter the house to arrest them.
  5. damn hippies. They were not arrested because of desecrating the flag, and if they just took the citation they probably wouldn't have been convicted, because of free speech protections. They were arrested because the guy punched a police officer in the face. Thats like being pulled over for speeding, then shooting the police officer in the face as hes talking and driving off, then blaming the police because you were not speeding. The issue here isn't the people desecrating the flag, its attacking the police officer over it.
  6. what they said is fine. Really runescape will run fine on almost any new computer. In fact, I have it running fine on an old pentium 2 laptop with 64mb of RAM.
  7. Aside from the graphics card, it looks good. One other thing, though. While your DVD drives listed will work just fine, going with a SATA based drive, like your hard drive will help eliminate clutter in your case. This is a good one, and its only a few bucks more then the one you have listed. Believe me, smaller, easier to manage cables go a long way in making a nice looking computer. Plus, it has lightscribe, which is useful in making professional looking labels on cd's. (if you don't know what lightscribe is, here it is. Its kinda cool actually)
  8. The difference between vista 64 and 32 is that 64 bit uses data units that are twice as wide as a 32 bit system. All this really means to you is that some programs will have problems with 64 bit, but It is the future of operating systems, and also that while the 32 bit version of vista has a memory cap of around 3 gigs the capacity for 64 bit os's is practically limitless (100gb or some crazy number). Though some programs have problems running on vista, the vast majority run just fine and you won't have a problem. If you get xp. a year or so from now when all new computer games require DX10 and thus vista, you will wish you bought vista. As fas as parts go, I would change a few things if I were you. You said you were planning on over clocking the processor. If you are, It would be wise to go with a Nvidia 680i chipset motherboard, as opposed to the P35 one you had listed. They tend to be better over clockers and all around faster boards, particularly when it comes to gaming, which looking at your build seems to be a big function. This board, made by EVGA is a very good one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6813188012 note that the only difference between this board and the EVGA board that is $20 more is that that one comes with more cables then this one does. As far as the graphics card, the 8800 gts 640mb is a great choice, but If I were you I would go with an EVGA card. Here this card is identical to the one you listed, and is the same price, but EVGA offers a better warranty on their cards (a lifetime one as opposed to 3 years) and their service is some of the best in the business. (No indian call centers, everyone speaks English) As far as RAM goes, unless you are planning on pairing your memory sticks with an older pair of sticks, thus holding the stats to the older sticks numbers, there is no need to get older, slower RAM like the ones you have listed. This RAM is faster and has better timings then the stuff that you listed, for only $20 more.
  9. rune (g), the colors contrast nicely
  10. the elite was announced after the PS3 change was. In the end, I see It being a close race between the PS3 and the xbox 360. The wii is somewhat of a fad right now, but in the future it will wear off and sales will slow considerably. Even though the xbox 360 is far ahead now, as blue ray becomes the standard as time progresses and price drops make the system more reasonable, I think that sales will jump to a point where the only thing keeping the xbox 360 in compition with the PS3 will be its installed base.
  11. the ti-30 is a good calculator, we used it in 5th grade. My recommendation would be the Ti-84 se: Shot at 2007-08-02 It is a graphing calculator, however it works great for non graphing functions as well. I got mine in 6th grade and started using the graphing functions in early 7th grade. Its a great calculator, and it even has games on it for when you are bored.
  12. a /b/tard is a name for someone who uses the /b/. or "random" forum, on 4chan.org. Funny video
  13. Running hypercam on a runescape world won't be a problem, but really any real contemporary computer games will have a hard time running on that hardware. As said before, everything is good, aside from the graphics.
  14. Reversed the greatest period of prosperity in its history record highs in the stock market Mabie this topic should be locked, I don't see much good conversation coming from it.
  15. Well my grandmother has had around 4 heart attacks during her lifetime, but its been about 3 years now since shes had one. shes currently 93. Most of them were not that bad, once she didn't even know she had it until the paramedics came to check on her (she wears this device that registers heart pumps, and sends a signal if she has a heart attack)
  16. Who ever said I was using cheap parts on the rest of my system? I was given a budget for building a computer, and after getting pretty maxed out on other high end parts (core 2 extreme, 2 8800 gtx, etc) I didnt want to spend money on stupid things, like painted cases, so I got some more memory. This is the memory I got (2 kits of it) One other thing. While a 400 watt power supply would be ok for a normal computer, anyone planning on using high end graphics cards or big RAID arrays should get a much higher wattage supply. Skimping on the power supply could be the stupidest thing you could do to a computer. If you get a cheap one and it dies, theres a good chance its gonna take the rest of the computer along with it.
  17. LOL. 4 gigs of RAM is still VERY unusual. 8 GB of RAM is just unheard of. LOL I just ordered 8 gigs of ram for a new computer I'm building.
  18. Most of your guide isnt too bad, but the processor section was fairly inaccurate. Currently, the Intel core 2 duo line stomps on the AMD processors, and the thing about the speed in Ghz isn't quite right either. While it is relavant within famlies of processors, outside of those families, its a almost useless indicator of a chip's speed. One other thing, on higher end gaming computers, 4 or even 8 gigs of ram isnt all that unusual. Otherwise, it was a good guide.
  19. Well basically a poor, common person who lives on benefits provided by the government. They wear crap clothes, have shaved bald heads, have kids in their teens, smoke when they're 12, drink when they're 10, beat up and assault anyone who gives them a "wrong" look, smash bus shelters for entertainment, jack cars for fun, don't give a damn about education, look forward to going to prison, all have A.S.B.Os (anti-social behavioural orders) and are proud of them and just the general lowlife of Britain. so... like white trash?
  20. I never knew that zezima was from the US. Thats a very interesting list.
  21. as far as your motherboard vs better processor, go for a better motherboard easily. you wont have enough money to do descreite graphics (a card) so good intigrated is a must. I would go for intel processors right now, they are easily more powerful. If you would like to look at some benchmarks yourself tomshardware.com is a good resource.
  22. Hmmm, seems kind of pointless to me, everybody is complaining about borders that are too open and they want to kill borders with Mexico all together? It also seems kind of pointless to create a new currency, seeing as the US dollar is already the most powerful currency in the world. I have no problem with having an open borders/economic pact with canada, seeing as they are a well developed country, but doing that with Mexico would wreak havoc on the southern economy.
  23. Its an ok deal, but you can do better by going to a store. The 1 gig of ram in particular is a little low for its price point.
  24. When you refer to "rsc forums" what are you talking about? Ive never heard of them. Could some one post a URL?
  25. you said a grey box? what firewall or antivirus software do you use, and what browser? I think I know what it might be. Its not hardware though, if you can play counterstrike, runescape will run just fine.
