It's actually had a decent ad blocker for a while now. Here's the link to it in Chrome Extensions. If you do switch, then I'd also recommend the excellent Speed Dial (which is actually now better than Opera's [speed dial inventors]) and Chrome Gestures (right-click gestures for faster navigation). Those two extensions in particular give Chrome functions that I desperately missed after moving from Opera 10.10.

Oh, that's interesting. I wonder how good it'll be. To a lot of us, what made Skins so interesting was that we knew most of the cast and it was all set around where we lived which was a little surreal at times.
I wonder if the US version will be able to differentiate itself enough from the vast amount of other teenage dramas originating there..

Ah, I dunno.. We were all like 16/17ish when they started casting. I guess at that age I just really didn't consider it to be a viable path to go down. No one knew back then how popular the show was to become (in the UK at least).

She was err.. worryingly similar to her character in Skins, actually. We used to joke that she wasn't actually acting in the show, and that her character's weirdness was all natural :D, although I'm sure she's a perfectly capable actress now.
I wonder what my life would be like now if I had auditioned when the production team were casting at a my school... ahhh..

If it is, then she was in quite a few of my classes during secondary school & college.
Not sure why you'd be interested be interested, but.. hey! Never look a gift horse in the mouth and all that.. even if it's to question the validity of the gift!

Spent the last week showing my girlfriend's (black rose dress) friends around Bristol as they're planning to study at Bristol Uni. My tour included Bristol Zoo which was nice, as in all the years I've lived in this city I've never once visited it Shame about the big girl in the middle of the photo below, as she got so drunk one night while clubbing that we almost had to take her to hospital to get her stomach pumped! Kids, eh

Ah, good. Hopefully that respawn time should make Atacama desert (long conquest level) more fun. That level is such a pain when the enemy team have a level 45+ pilot.

Just finished my latest goal of getting a gold star (100 kills) with every weapon [except the M1A1 Thompson, which is glitched]. Apart from that, not having the best of luck with matches right now, as it seems that almost every game I play in ends up being me and a bunch of level 20 people against a full clan whose members are all above level 40. Getting thrashed game after game is so.. so frustrating..

Well, I'm sure that were he to have to go to the bathroom still asleep, the not waking up to do so would create a state of some discomfort, cause awakenedness :P She's saying he would drown in his own urine and vomit. Don't know why the vomit, but he would. First; I don't understand where the vomit came from and second; what possible reason is there for him not being able to wake up? Save for falling into some kind of a coma, your brain will wake you up.. :-? Rachael, stop confusing everyone :P

Ahhh.. I remember the real old days of original Game Boy and SNES game manuals. If my memory serves me correctly, both Zelda: A Link to the Past (SNES) and Zelda: Link's Awakening (Game Boy) had particularly good, long manuals. Plenty of pictures. :P

The Kit upgrade DLC (Dr Pepper promotion) is due to be released tomorrow for the Xbox360, just three weeks later than originally intended.

Just confirming that patch list is real; the primary source material can be found here. Here's hoping that some of these changes make their way into an Xbox360 patch. I know a couple of my colour blind friends will be extremely happy about that list. :P On another note, after reading through other entries in the Battlefield Blog, I came across this article: Where are my G3 and MK14 Optics? I find myself completely agreeing with DICE's point that giving those guns the 4x scope would result in people sniping with them. I can not, however, understand why they allowed the 4x scope to be used with every other gun outside of the 'all kits' option. While a red dot sight seems fine, letting people put a 4x scope on an SMG/LMG (and in some cases an Assualt rifle) just results in killing people from crazy distances. SMGs are meant for close range, and LMGs surely have too much recoil to ever make such a zoomed sight useful..?
