Strange how CLS would be outperformed by a weapon being only 1/5th faster, while CLS is 1/4th better than a godsword, but still not considered that much better.

I bought an onyx ring for 46m recently. Think I got a pretty good deal though, the guy wasn't a merchanter, just someone who had an onyx ring (i) and had to get rid of junk. Quite nice actually, cause onyx ring is only 6.5m, and I lost maybe 5m getting rid of the junk, so I basically got it for 11.5m :-).

So you are going for 85-90 :-) I don't really have anything to add though, but the superheating while mining, but that one's already said. Maybe just this one: why no SC? To me, it's a fun game to play, all in all it's not that inefficient, especially if you are short on cash. (in like: if you are really rich, even a method that "should only be done when you make more than 3m an hour", could still be viable, just cause you are lazy).

If I remember right it was implemented when jagex made it so you didn't have to go back to the 'worlds' page to switch worlds. I think the main reason was to prevent people from buying up all the store items in each world. That sounds right...i think. No it was implemented way before that. Back in 2005, it was still there. (i'd know, i was switching worlds to find somewhere i could mine iron with my lvl 30 mining) It was before that yeah, but the reason is right: They didn't want bots to quickly hop worlds and buy out all the supplies in the stores after a system update.

I would only get them if you have some spare cash and spec restores.

Well, when I bought my purple around 1-2 weeks ago, I payed 6 santas + cash, and still had to accept 300m junk. Okay, I got ripped off quite a bit, and probably shouldn't have accepted this much junk, or should have offered less santas (santas were going for about 20m above med), but still. I for one wouldn't sell it in a million years for such an offer. Santas are pretty easy to get, I know that one out of experience. Not sure about masks, but they can't be that hard to get.

Then you can't buy the partyhat, because people are only selling it with 350m+ junk, or trading it for other high street value items. Your santas and mask set will help, but they are certainly not enough to just get your purple for trade price.

Try out some teams, and always add the players that did well. In the end you are bound to build up a nice amount of "dung friends" to play with.

Fastest is herblore I think. Overloads are 600k xp or something (including the time to make the extremes). Also most useful. Cheapest and most useless are cooking and fletching.

Damn, I really won't be able to choose a weapon once I get it, it seems. Maul seems like the least favourable option, seeing I don't pk (thinking about trying it out though), but it's strength bonus and accuracy is too insane to ignore. Just not so happy with the "3" attack style (or is it 4?)

If you can keep enough cash to merch after you bought the phat and sold the junk, I'd get a phat. They're not going to get easier to get I think. Once you got that phat, get rid of the junk (not that hard, did 300m myself recently) and save up for an upgrade, be it in raw cash, or bought out items.

Not possible without junk. On another note: there is a lot of fuss about some videos of a guy named Sunlink who is loosing over 100B in rares (mostly santas) on youtube. Apperently,they are fake, but they santas are rising a lot lately, naturally or due to this rumours?

Good advice, allthought I wouldn't have done something else up to 90. I have 3.6k overloads, and no extremes, and I just use my overloads everywhere. Works like a charm

You should use a shield instead of a defender as you won't really be needing the extra attack with overloads and turmoil Divine > Elysian > DFS > Obby shield NEVER EVER EVER EVER use a BSS or Dragon Sq. They are horrible for bandos soloing. The range defence is siqnificantly lower than Obby shield. And they lack the added strength bonus. I hear so many people saying BSS!@!@!@!@ but its total garbage for bandos solo. Sorry, I was somehow confused that you were protecting ranged at bandos, so I thought obby shield or granite shield would be worse. Anyway, I checked toasts's guide, and while it doesn't give any alternatives, there is some discussion about gear and stuff, enough for me to conclude that obby shield would be a good alternative to a dfs.

Well, if you already have 2k extreme sets, calculate how much it will cost you to also make 2k extreme range and extreme magic pots + 2k overloads. You will get 2k * 1490 (I think?) xp extra, for that cost. I'm pretty sure it will be reasonable. Rough estimation for one overload: 6k for extreme magic pot, 12k for extreme range pot, 30k for torstol, which comes down to 48k gp for an extra 1.5k xp. That's over 30 gp/xp. So hm, actually not that good -.-
