Discussing this issue is bad... Mmmkay... Is this a new rule then? Otherwise an article from tip.it times needs to be deleted too: http://tip.it/runescape/index.php?times=433 Numerous bugs and abuses have been explained on these forums and I never felt the urge to exploit them. It is on the other hand alot of fun reading about them. Agree. I don't like my posts getting deleted. It's not like I'm going to exploit this bug, I'm just interested on how it works. But okay, guess we'll have to adapt to new rules.

Yeah, didn't expect this either. I guess it was finally going to get a reasonable price, with corp being so easy lately. It seems there is enough money however to keep it higher.

I'm gonna go ahead and ignore this because you admitted to botting your account in General, LOL. I read that thread. He doesn't... Thing is, the OP doesn't have a specific skill related goal. He is not "asking advice on how to get 99 cooking, the skill he likes that much". He IS asking us which 99 he should get, which indirectly implies: which one do you think is easiest or do you think is "best". He's not telling us what he likes or not, that doesn't seem to matter, he just seems to want a cape and asks us which one.

With what weapon? CLS So, is it any good there? I.e., a lot of difference with whip? Tbh, I think rapier would be better because of Sup's low defence. Really not sure what to get, rapier or CLS... (about to get one of them) -
Although I hate botters and will never do it myself, I think Ring World's arguments are pretty valid. Of course a boring skill doesn't justify botting, but the fact that so many people afk certain skills, and welcome new afk'able additions (living rocks for instance), says something. I personally like playing intense, so I wouldn't mind other, more active options for skills. They could balance it out nicely by making the most "boring" way, a little faster. (so not like pyramid plunder, that's a bit overpowered). SC and Barbarian assault horn are EXCELLENT steps in that direction. I personally love SC, heck, I'm not even playing it for points lately.

Guys, it's obvious he doesn't know about the damage reduction.

Let's not try to turn this into another 99 cape discussion. Last thing I'm going to add is: It's your choice to do things you hate in your spare time, but I prefer not to.

Really liked the second article, cause it's exactly how I see it too. Just now I was talking to some typical lvl 82 with 99 cooking and fletching. I was asking why she got these skills to 99. She answered something along the lines of: You got to start with something easy, and I can do other stuff while doing it. When people say things like this, I instantly start thinking about what's the point of "playing" a game. These people aren't playing a game, they are just clicking "make x" and doing something else. What's the point of playing then. I could understand if you do it for certain things, so you can play more intense later (let's say afk'ing mobilising armies, so you got better PK gear). However, in this case, the person was planning on getting 99 firemaking and woodcutting next (how extremely original). Personally, I enjoy Runescape the most when it is intense: Doing dungeoneering, fighting waterfiends in multicombat with overloads, a familiar, special attack scrolls, spec weapon, spec restores, you get the picture. Even when I'm slaying I'm mostly paying quite a bit of attention. I prefer paying attention and trying to things on maximum efficiency over a non-interactive way of playing, if you can even call clicking "make x" every 2 minutes a game.

Why don't arrow tips sell? They're pretty good to make for smithing.

Wrong, it's 280 * 1.30 * 1.15 * 1.21. For some reason the 2 15% boosts from staff and necklace get added up (says 30% when you look at equip screen), while the others are stacked in a multiplier. Max I've hit with ice barrage, Sol, stream necklace and overloads (which is max you can do besides castle wars I think) is 471. In slayer, with fire surge, I've hit 553 as best hit.

120k+ range xp on chickens? you'd be lucky to get half of that, the spawns aren't even that fast. Hehe, that's 10k chickens an hour. Even dags in light tower with cannon are like 700 kills an hour max?
-
wow lol, didn't think I would get quoted on that. That was a very rough estimation though, and I actually think I came out with other numbers I think. In any case, it's not worth it just for training.

heh just cos i got you >.>, that took quite alot of takes to get right. So? Go away with your fake videos please. Can't believe you are wasting your own time to do this. Chuckled when I saw "0 likes, 4 dislikes" though :-) -
99 slayer should get you 99 summoning, so to me it seems pretty balanced.

Which Money Sinks Would Help Runescape Economy?
bedman replied to NukeMarine's topic in General Discussion
Which proves that more items DO counter inflation. Say there is x amount of money and y amount of items. If y increases, and x stays the same, the price per item (x/y) is bound to fall. -
Like your girlfriend? Hehe, couldn't resist that one, could you

He can't use soul split.

Would last shorter than that, then, when you consider that time spent luring is counted toward the degrading. It wouldn't They only degrade when you attack, not when you're being attacked. Still, you don't use 1200 casts an hour. I used 560 casts an hour when bursting, so barraging is probably more towards 500. In that case, when they only degrade when casting a spell, they would last 12 hours barraging.

Oh really? How will less people doing TDs/Bandos/Armadyl help to keep prices low? Don't forget that a lot of the elite people doing dungeoneering are the same people that would solo bandos/TDs allday, i.eI bringing more items in the game, i.e. countering inflation. -
I don't like people who fake things.

Is it my connection, or is it getting worse and worse? Right now I can't play any large dungeon anymore without completely dc'ing at least once (so I end up in the waiting rooms). Small DC's where you still manage to stay in game happen even more often. Then, there's also the "game error crash", which is happening to me more and more. I had 2 of them last dungeon. Getting damn frustrating (in other news: 80 dung, woot!)
-
Yeah, that's pretty annoying, allthough I think you keep having the full bonus when you immediately attack another monster (and keep wielding the same weapon). When you switch to claws however between kills, you certainly lose your extra %. (can anyone confirm you don't loose it if you keep whipping?)
-
You could tank them with a unicorn. If you had a yak, I would say you should use that one to bank the herbs and such, but you don't so uni is fine. Also, remember that soul wars cape + full bandos has the same prayer bonus as prossy top + bottom and fire cape, but it has more def and more strength. So I would use full bandos + SW cape + rune defender, and pray piety. Try to get some claws for speccing, if you cant, ee for if you cant keep up.

Big word of advice: DONT train hitpoints through PC/SW. I did 500k hp xp there when I was 500k off and was impatient, and I regret it. I mean, I have over 21m hp xp now. It's really a waste of time to train HP on its own. It will come naturally. You will have 99 hp before you are 99 melees, even without PC/SW. Don't get caught up in the 99 cape obsession that everyone has. You will regret it some day, trust me.

You could say that's good in some way, since they probably won't become cheaper, and he did prayer while it was still very fast + there might be updates that improve the speed of slow skills. (Like you can train mining, smithing, and magic at once now, or like slayer has gotten faster with Kuradal, Turmoil, Extremes, Rapier, ...). Zarfot can have a big advantage over someone who is going to do prayer now, while it's double as slow, and 2-3 times as expensive, and who did slayer 2 years ago (when we didn't have rapier, turmoil etc). Who knows, runecrafting might be 100k an hour in 1-2 years. But, you can also argue that those skills are very fast, so timewise, he really isn't that far, compared to someone who has, say, 200m fishing.
