  1. Its nice to flash soul split dark beasts and black demons. No more protection prayers needed. It's also usefull for nechs and dust devils, where you don't need any food at all anymore.
  2. Stupidity sometimes... In the 10 threads you see somewhere at the top, you can't even see another thraed with dungeoneering in the title? -.-
  3. Fighter hat + zerker (I) is best, although Neit + diamond ring (i) (100 ranke only, + 5 stab) only looses to it by 5 str.
  4. Are red masks this badly bought out? I used to have 7 when they were 40M a few months ago -.-
  5. Oh, well, then you can put in 28 bones in the yak. I'm pretty sure those 2 spots aren't worth the hassle. Just make sure you withdraw only one law and dust rune at once, after you filled the yak. Saves you 2 spots.
  6. Check the topic right under you?
  7. I personally do it like this: I use glory next to my player altar to tele home, although duel ring would be quicker. I have a tinderbox in my invo and nothing else. I open my bank, withdraw 27 bones, and put those in my yak. I then open my bank again and withdraw 2 marrentil, 1 law rune and 1 dust rune + 25 bones. Rest is easy. So yeah, I don't think the extra time is worth it for 3 bones, and even if it is, I think it is annoying, so I don't bother. I don't get how you can get 26 in your invo though. You don't use marrentils or a tinderbox?
  8. Ohhhhh someones been studying economics 101. Your absolutely right though. :D In no way is this correct. If a bunch of college students all agree that the price of Lamborghinis is too high, that doesn't mean the price is not in equilibrium. True that. No merchant clan is buying them out as far as I know. GE isn't stopping them from doing what they can. Conclusion: they are in equilibrum.
  9. If you don't think chaotic weapons are end-all weapons, what is? But yeah, you are right.
  10. Nice. You'll love turmoil (and soul split), trust me :-).
  11. Yeah, it seems overloads aren't that good anymore. When I made them, they were one of the cheapest options, and I ended up with a useful pot, so it was win-win. It's just that, if you have 92 herblore, you don't really care about the xp you get when making overloads, so each overload will really cost you 75k gp, or whatever it is now. While I payed 45-50k for it, it did help me to get 99, and any other option would have costed me the same, without giving me the overloads as by product. I wouldn't be so keen on using overloads if I had to cough up 75k for every 15 minutes. Now I'm using them on anything. I don't have normal extremes :-) In any case, I would defintely advise making a few k spec restore pots. They are quite cheap gp/xp (still 28 lol), but they are actually pretty useful, especially if you have claws. edit: extreme attacks are only 26 gp/xp, that's pretty nice too! But still, I checked overloads and they are 32 gp/xp. You can probably get it down to 30 if you buy your ingredients smart. Brews are still 29... Range pots are only 21 though (but I think that's temporary). Let's say you pay 8 gp/xp more for overloads, and you start at lvl 90. That's only 60-64M extra. I think that is very reasonable for a lifetime supply of overloads + you save some hours. (roughly 15h for 99 if you are a zarfot, compared to 30-40, so you can make another 50M in those +-25h).
  12. Abby's are not the goldmine people think they are. They're nice, but I would do other things if I need cash.
  13. Not sure. I use both alot. Maybe herblore, if you can get 99 and make a ton of overloads in the process.
  14. I dunno, I like knowing that I'm doing it right. Just now I was teamed up with 1 lvl 119, 1 lvl 126 and two lvl 132s. They were all under 70 dung, except for one, and I thought it was horrible. They were picking runeleafs while I was trying to clear a guardian room right next to it, asking for help. There was this guy who decided to mage, and he had runic top and fire staff bound + blood runes. No spear back up, so lots of rooms he was just useless. Of course, he couldn't cast fire surge yet, and he couldn't craft blood runes. So after a while, he was casting blast! (No spear to melee either...). One guy was making a huge cross with spinbeam traps in the smugglers room (only found out at the end). They were not completely uncooperative, but it was always me who needed to be the driving force. Me shouting: guardian rooms, need you. Me shouting "I need you here up north", while they were doing god knows what in the smugglers room. When we are finally at the boss, of course it takes some time while they are there, and ready. I say, ready lets go? One of em says yeah, so I go in. We fight, and suddenly at one point I realise I'm left alone alone, and of course I get Koed too (should have gatestoned). Then some other guys says "yeah but we weren't ready, I had super melee pots". Now why the hell didn't he say that before... So yeah, I was the annoying guy getting mad at them and such, but damn, there is a fine line between having some fun, and just being completely ineffcient. Conclusion: I'm not trying teams under 70 Dung/130 combat again (actually, this idiotic mage with fire blast and no spear was lvl 76 dung and 119 combat).
  15. rune chainbody + green d'hide chaps is cheaper and has better def (+ same offence) as green d'hide body + rune legs.
  16. Base floor and prestige is also affected by not totally completing the dungeon. Stupid IMO.
  17. Ovl = overload. I would look into using void though, if they are really this often on protect magic. Just one helmet switch and you have an awesome range/melee outfit.
  18. Nice. Wonder where this claws suddenly come from :o (and why you don't use them on Karil, bringing spec restorse for Ahrim).
  19. Even if those players are honest, there can be misconceptions. I mean, let's say you are a beta-tester, and you are also thinking about buying 99 prayer, but you were waiting for dbones to drop. A few days later, you get to test a new update, that introduces new high lvl prayers. Again a few days later, dbones did drop like you expected, and you buy 40k of them, like you planned BEFORE you tested that prayer update. How is Jagex going to see the difference between you, and some beta-tester who is actually just thinking about reselling these bones once the update comes.
  20. You basically solved it yourself already. You're telling us you save 50 hours, gain 5m+ mage xp, and it will only cost you 10m. That says enough.
  21. As a merchant I would have thought you would know what supply and demand means. Supply will stay the same, how is it going to drop? If anything, it's growing slightly because of people obtaining yaks, and using it to bank their bones from metal dragons etc. 2ndly, in order for bones to rise, demand should rise, not stay the same.
  22. What would be the point of non bindable boss drops?
  23. Do dks to start. It's consistent money, especially if you hybrid. If you like it, keep doing it. If you want to shoot for bigger drops, do TDs.
  24. I know my tortoise used to die (or nearly die) at abberant spectre tasks because of him being too eager on attacking spectres and getting owned badly. This but with a Terrobird :D Pak Yaks have huge defence and hps... should last longer ;o Pack yaks actually never attack them.
  25. I think you can get around 40k slay xp/h with Bladewing's suggestion, perhaps more. So 10h/day is 400k xp. 30 days => 12m. So yeah, probably at least 10h a day. And I don't think claws stack with slayer helm. I was at clan wars and managed to hit nearly as high as on task (in kura's dungeon). (I hit 430 ... .. .. in Kura's dungeon and hit a 390 ... ... ... in clan wars).
