I think you can get around 40k slay xp/h with Bladewing's suggestion, perhaps more. So 10h/day is 400k xp. 30 days => 12m. So yeah, probably at least 10h a day. And I don't think claws stack with slayer helm. I was at clan wars and managed to hit nearly as high as on task (in kura's dungeon). (I hit 430 ... .. .. in Kura's dungeon and hit a 390 ... ... ... in clan wars).

In theory this could work very well indeed. Are you switching between this necklace and fury for meleeing? I would personally go in full void, and switch void helms + arcane and SOL + necklace perhaps and fire surge. Full void is nearly as accurate as full Ahrims, so if that doesn't work, nothing will.

Kind stupid off them to kill one spawn though. I'm quite sure this way they won't kill more than one demon a minute, and divide that by 2 because you are duo'ing, so you get 30/h, MAX. I guess it's more fun though (not more relaxing I think, you have to switch much quicker).

Don't forget though that you are paying an extra 200k/h. (might even be more if it degrades faster because of bandos ranged attacks and the specs kicking in), probably on top of 200k/h for your CLS. That's already 400k an h more than just whip + divine/ely.

Applies to real life to a bit. People do things like jogging or power training, when they don't really like it, but they just want the results (losing weight, gaining muscles).

JJu, just admit you were either wrong, or completely off the point. He doesn't want them to become tradeable to everyone. He's not going to get faster kills an hour. He just wants a more user friendly game. That's it, that's all.

I don't get why you keep saying it's better for bosses/shades when you can just make up for the lack of mage defense by praying deflect magic. This completely nullifies the advantage of your tyranno-hide. Okay, it might help a bit on the lower lvl mages where you don't pray. Maybe it might help on shades too, allthough I think they use ranged too, and this way prome plate will be better in one aspect, and worse in another, evening out (against a shade, assuming it uses magic and ranged). But i's worse on any ranger/meleeers so yeah...

If you want to, why not. It will slow you down though, no way around that.

I look at it like this: Prome platebody: Defence: Huge ranged defence Huge melee defence Use deflect/protect magic to close the circle, you are now "protected" against any style Offence: Negative magic: Though, you will still hit on forgotten warriors. The only place magic is really better anyway. Negative ranged: Longbow gives a huge ranged bonus, and you will only use it with enemies who have low ranged defence, so even a shortbow will work. Tyrnanno body: Defence: Huge magic defence average melee/ranged defence => Prayer can only make up for one style. So you are left being weak to at least one style. Offence: Negative magic: Same as melee, no problem Negative melees: Kind of a problem, since you are meleeing most of the time, and could use all the offence you have. (You don't just melee on rangers who have pathetic melee defence).

Bladewing's advice is nice, but I think he is sometimes pushing it to get the absolutely fastest xp 1) I wouldn't block abby demons. Still 30k slay xp, purely off melee, and you get whips, fero rings (important, according to bladewing's set up you would only do garg's in there, so you will run out quickly this way, especially if you do not use lunar magick's, which you can't if you want to cancel so many tasks) + nice amount of crimsons. 2) Tzhaar. I think they are also over 30k an hour and you can build up a nice amount of obby charms, to use with your blue charms. + at the end you might get an onyx out of it. I wouldn't do them anymore once I have a huge stack of obby charms though. 3) Black drags/skeletal wyverns. Both over 30k xp an hour, if you cannon them (black drags in evil chicken lair) + a nice amount of cash if you can bank the bones with yak. They're also quick tasks, so easy points. 4) Ice wyrms. Chance to get free quick mage xp. Over 30k slayer xp just on maging/meleeing too (meleeing is slightly lower than magic I think) and you can speed it up quite a bit with a cannon (I'd say up to 40k/h).

Lol, I invested 300m in prayer potions when they were 9k each. Still waiting for them to go up lol .

Please explain me how you get 2.4M prayer xp an hour. Besides that, you are somewhat right, as long as: a) People keep playing, and more and more people reach 99 melees B) Dragon bone supply stays constant (no updates that change this, which is unlikely). (copy Qeltar's response here).

Get Ahrims. You can alwyas resell, and recharge costs are negligible. Get the new necklace. It is totally worth it, and dungeoneering is very fun IMO. Also, MA can be done while afking, and 100 rank (8-10h of afk) gives you basically a free (diamond rings are cheap and the imbue cost is low too) hybrid ring (+4 magic, + 4 ranged, + 5 stab, +4 slash, +4 crush). It's also handy for corping due to the slash bonus.

I just remember once when I decided I wanted to try ranging in f2p pvp worlds, I quickly found out chain + chaps > d'hide body + rune legs, in defense/offence/cost, YET I saw all those "tank rangers" running around in rune platelegs + green d'hide body, and at that time I thought: "damn, non of these guys ever used their brains to try and figure out what's the best, they just follow everyone else.
