Do you flash soul split too? If not I can't really see how just an EE would keep up.

I found a very nice way to do barrows. This is my set up: Actually, I tweaked it a bit afterwards (more brews, more spec restores, no monks, and less strawberries), but it should be a good start. Start with overloading. Put on claws and bandos, go in karil's tomb, and down him in 2 claw specs (using turmoil and deflect ranged). Then use charge, drink a spec restore and down Dharok. Should be fast when hitting 390s with CoG. Next is verac, same procedure as Dharok, allthough you might take some damage, so somewhere in between Dharok and Karil, you should drink 1-2 sips of your brews. Drink another spec restore. The first trip, you will have lots of prayer, so you can also do guthan or torag now and still save prayer for Ahrim. I keep ahrim the latest as possible so my spec bar is recovered enough (I drink 2 spec restores per chest), while still having prayer to use turmoil and deflect mage during your claw spec. With some timing and/or luck, your special has recharged enough to use 2 claw specs again. After your first chest, just drink 1 dose of super prayer, and start with Karil. This time, you won't have a lot of prayer left, so you will have to do Ahrim right after Dharok, or if you are lucky, after Verac. In any case, you should have enough special for at least one claw spec. Sometimes I prefer to keep Ahrim as the last one, so my spec bar is full, and tank him (hope for lucky specs). Using this technique, chests should take 5-7 min each and your profit should be over 1M an hour + it's pretty fun. With the setup I showed here, I did 6 chests, but by tweaking it a bit (like I mentioned above), I do 8 (1 overload dose every chest) EDIT: somehow, I had a dds in my invent. I use Claws of course. DDs might work too, but claws are very reliable (i.e. I kill karil 90% of the time in 2 specs).

Wow, that's a lot of corp kills. 232 a day, how many hours is that? I'm curious on the kill rate per hour. How much do you risk by the way? And do you break even with these drops (no sigil). Sorry for all the questions, might wanna start corping myself so yeah... Anyway, gl with your corping and get that divine.

Could you show me your set up? I 'm kind of interested to try it myself. You use yak first and pony when you run out of supplies?

SS And really don't buy tassets. I have full bandos, but I mostly end up wearing V skirt over the tassets. More def, more prayer, only 2 str less.

It's just that it doesn't matter a lot, the fight takes maybe one minute. Whip hits just fine; Bladewing is quite correct about the claws, especially in kuradals dungeon. Outside her dungeon, I mostly use sgs, because that way I just bring some spec pots, and I'm covered for my food, and a big part of my prayer.

Torstols are by far the best seed now. Seems like they are the best xp AND the best money atm.

Why would you train a skill for hours upon hours just for the colour of a cape? To the author: just do the skills you like, you are not forced to get 99, 90 in a few skills is much nicer IMO

I wouldn't just get 92 prayer. Curses really aren't that good untill you have soul split AND turmoil. Soul split alone is not enough to give up piety. However, once you have soul split AND turmoil, I think that advantage is bigger than extremes over supers.

Yeah, I can confirm this. Too bad I had no cash, I would have bought a few. Anyway, this seems a sign that 50-60m is the new "stable price" for santa's. I can't see them going under 50m again if no serious updates affect them. opinions on this?

If you do computer sciences at the university, expect math, and not just easy math, really. I do think it's a lot easier (and more practical) if you don't do it at the university though.

Keep your MTK on herbs and fish, they still are, and will stay the best money. No idea for the pots. Just look at the price pre-weekend, that's where it should go back to, but it might take a few ups and downs.

All fine and well, but don't forget that as a low level, you are already totally flooded by low level quests and things to do. A lvl 5 has mostly just entered the game, and for him 57 or 58 novice quests won't make the difference. And the fact that the 58th quest is a brand new one, won't make a difference either, because all the quests will be new for him.

In any case, you are better off selling your herbs, and buying ingredients for the potion which is the best at that time (reasonable gp/xp while being fast), than using all your gathered herbs yourself on a whole mixture of pots of which half is unefficient and expensive xp. My view on extreme pots: Together with antifires, they are a very good reason to get 85 + herblore. It's danm expensive, but it's worth it much more than, say, construction or smithing. I would say however, that getting 95 prayer is worth it more though.

I was wondering the same. I also logged out once because of some reason and it stopped me taking damage. Next time I tried it, it didn't work either. I also had it at bork once. I drank an overload and entered his lair right after, while I was still taking damage. When the cutscene ended, I only took like 300 in stead of 500 damage. Next time I tried it, it didn't work of course. So yeah, I have no idea actually.

Some solo merchers probably merched it. They said: hmm, def pots are completely useless since they are trash, however the require a 10k ranarr, so let's bring em up to 10k. As long as they won't go higher than the price of ranarr, no one will bother making them.

Of course you won't profit. Collecting the herbs from slayer and MTK doesn't change a single thing. You still could have sold them in stead of making potions from them, and make much more money. (but yeah, in your strange view of profit, you will profit since most of the time, your pot will be worth more than your secondary ingredient and you see it as you got your herbs for free so you keep them out of you calculation). That's why it is the smartest to sell all herbs you get from slayer and MTK and with that money, buy the potion with the cheapest gp/xp (keeping in mind you still want to train with a decent rate, so I wouldn't do things like serum etc...). To check the gp/xp, just go to rune wiki calcs. However, as people have said, right now the whole market is messed up because of the xp weekend, so I'd wait a while. And to answer wether it's worth it: Not sure. I do know I'm killing irons at least twice as fast as I used to do, but the Z spear isnt the only factor, since I also have overloads and turmoil, which I didnt have before.

It's funny how that's mostly the only arguement brought up by people defending DFS. Either "it's hot" , or "it's pro", or "str ftw".
