Can't agree more with Soma even though I do flip myself from time to time. Robert, do you even get it? He knows flipping has nothign to do with monsters. He justs wants to set an example how a flipper causes someone who sells items to get les than he would normally get. Is it that hard to understand?

You get used to it. But with torstols at 18k+, overloads have lost a lot of its appeal.

Overloads are kinda useless for most stuff indeed, so if you can I'd recommend getting 90 herb for just ext pots and 95 prayer. I use overloads for about everything, but okay, that's also partly because I got a huge stash (3.6k) from getting 99 herblore. Just out of curiosity, did you buy all those torstol on the ge? Yes, I was lucky that I didn't wait too long so I got them for 4-7k each, in the course of a few weeks (always offering max). In some way I wasn't lucky, cause I actually somehow managed to get 2k torstol from the GE for 3k each earlier right after the herblore update, but I stupidly sold them for antifires 2:1 if I recall it right.

The "street" price is far above what the exchange will settle at. Junk is not "worthless", it sells eventually. If Jagex set Green Partyhats at 550m, they would crash from that price. And anyway, since some people are willing to go through the hoops it means they get the hat. Want one yourself? Compete or quit complaining. It's how a market works. I dunno, before the GE you didn't have to go through any hoops. Just pay straight out cash, and that's it.

It's not really a huge difference. Defensive style just means that your 3 invisible levels are sent to defense as opposed to another combat stat. that's a negligible difference to your accuracy as compared to accurate, and a max hit difference of about half a damage point as compared to aggressive. the difference is of course even less so when compared to controlled. im pretty sure atk/str/def styles are geared more towards training of a stat than having any actual serious impact on how much damage you do. It doesn't give "3 invisible" levels. but it does effect combat. Aggressive raises max hit (less true once u get higher lvls) and makes u hit more high numbers when u do hit. But you become less accurate. Accurate makes u hit less 0s, but you dont hit as hard. Defensive makes you take less damage but you hit weaker and less often In the same way on bows accurate hits more often, rapid fires slightly faster and long range lets you fire from further away. Yes, but the effect is much smaller than with ranged.

Simple question. I have quite a few of them, and deciding whether to sell now (if no clan is buying it out) or waiting a bit, if it's a real buy out.

That's right, hp isn't important. "last much longer", what kind of [cabbage] is that. Say you are 50 hp, and he is 60 hp, and you both have a full invent of lobbies. He will last 10 hp longer (on a total of over 300), wow, that's gonna make a difference. You are, hopefully, long koed, or have koed the other before you have used all your food;

(and you don't need mage defence). But yeah, you will surive for sure with unicorn, ee and black dhide.

You wont need to wear anything special with a unicorn on any of these. Just use void and you'll be fine. Perhaps you will need to use dfs at hell hounds, but I'm not sure, with a unicorn you can probably manage

I used my ardy cape to tele to the monastery for prayer, and then glory to edge to bank. Kuradal ring to get back. Seems a lot faster than the fairy ring, and you get prayer back. (can also use tele tab for this of course). I don't bring food. I use soulsplit if I have to (but rarely , they drop some food too) and bring one extra prayer dose. I use yak and use scrolls to bank as much bones as I can while filling yak up with hides. I kill around 40 a trip this way. I also use leech str.

Completely agree. I have 3.6k overloads from 90-99 summoning and I'm happy to have them cause I am constantly using them now.

When I made overloads, they were one of the cheapest ways of lvling, yet the fastest. I payed around 45k per overload, and one overload gave me 2.2k gp. That's how I got 95-99 herblore. I also have a lifetime supply of overloads now. Spec restore pots are also not as useless as they sound. I use them all the time now at slayer task with my sgs in stead of food (or with claws and soul split for food). Just don't forget that with these untradeable pots, the final product has a value too, if you intend to use it. (so try to make a variety, which you will hopefully use). The overloads are a great example. They were around 22 gp/xp for me, but that's when I value my overloads at 0 gp!. If I value them at 10k each, this figure goes down to around 16 gp/xp.

Thats what I do too. Just sould split on your claw specs and you are good. I bring some spec restores since I have a ton ot these anyway to spec even more. I know I could save some prayer with sgs, but I like the high hits from the claws. It's fun to 2 hit abby demons. (in stead, I take a pack yak as a familiar to bank all the herbs and tally's, which are all at least 2-3k each it seems, so it adds up)

I completely agree with this. People ask for "elite" content, and when it comes out, they can't take advantage of it, and they whine to get it so they can. Can't use elite content? Guess you aren't elite enough. The fallacy here is believing that the same people who asked for "elite" content are the same people now complaining. That's if you view a fire cape as "elite" - many posts claim its not elite at all - it's easy, as all you have to do is switch prayers. "Elite" or not: I guess it depends on what pseudo arguments are being made at the time. In reality, this is boiling down to whose daddy can buy them the best Internet connection. If Jagex had made the SoL an added reward for Fight Caves only, no one would be complaining. It's the repurposing of old stand alone minigames as new skill content that is so annoying. Come on, "daddy getting the best internet connection"... A decent connection costs maybe 30 euro's a month, it's not about having ultra rich parents. If you are really desperate, buy it yourself for a month, it's only worth 4 months of members. Besides that, I completely agree with Soma.

Yep, Bandos is totally unneeded for slayer. It's nice if you have an extra 50m lying around (I mean if you have like 200m+ in total) but otherwise you are prefectly fine with barrows and proselyte armour.

I think it was genius to put it as task only for reasons Bladewing has mentioned. What's the point of adding another slayer monster with a 1M drop? (not even talking about the overcrowding due to the awesome mage xp, which would lead to even more frustration).

Do you know if this always happens? I am hoping to do a tzhaar task soon too, but I don't want to end up where you ended, dieing by some glitch.
