Wait a minute. The void mace and Zuriel's staff both give +10% damage, correct? You seem to forget that the staff of light gives +15% damage. The staff of light does more damage in every circumstance. Void mace allows CoG which has a base hit of 30 in stead of 28, same for miasmic barrage and zuriel (base hit of 32)

Aw Some you are destroying my expectation for when I get 93 slayer, and the bad thing is you are most probably right about its practical usefulness being small.

the 10% boost doesn't get you any more charms per hour than the water staff. That makes no sense 10% damage = faster kills. If only slightly its a few more per hour. Its like using magic potions there they do speed up the kill, not a massive amount, but still does add up. When killing rock lobsters you have to measure things in terms of how many casts it takes on average to kill 9 lobsters. Sure some might die faster depending on which boosts you use, but in the end all that matters is how many casts it takes to kill the last remaining lobster. You'll find that with maxed magic att and boosts, you'll be getting more XP per cast however you'll still get the same charms per hour. It's because the extra bonuses from staves and pots only affect one lobster, not all 9.

As for this, if you're the first to attack, they only use their magic atk once, the max they've hit using that is an 8 so far for me. Yeah it's an 8 but it's pretty annoying when you are using overloads and are hovering at 40 hp and you have it a few times in a row (they always seem to hit me with it)

The z spear is worth it much more than the karil armour. You can still do waterfiends perfectly fine with black dhide, but witout a z spear or ss you will have troubles.

I used leech str on my gargoyle task and my str boost was permanently 9-10%, and it didn't seem to drain much faster than 10% str from normal spellbook. So no, curses ARE useful for slaying too, especially since a lot of people start to slay with turmoil (even moreso now maybe with the new cape).

I kind of agree, I talked to a general recentl and he was telling it was impossible for the ranks to dump early. First of all they had to show their items as a check, secondly, they cannot controll the public, who can dump anytime they want. They do off course buy early, but apperently they all keep the item after the dump (or at least not dump early) and get involved in junk trading to get rid of what they got.

Woot, I've dont it first try, but I used guides and tips from other people. I got pretty lucky at the berserk part, because he didn't hit me all that much (was wearing full bandos). Used around 35 brews though. I would really advise to bring a cbow and ruby bolts. I downed him over 200 hp easily this way while being frozen. And the cape totally rocks. Verac skirt + prossy top + fire cape combo for piety/turmoil slaying is now easily beaten by verac skirt, bandos chestplate and new cape (same strength, more prayer, more defence).

Usefull ones are summoning, herblore, ranging, att, def, magic, agility. I'd get herblore. Clean herbs till lvl 86 and decent profit, then use that money to make a ton of overloads.

Just did a task of 163 warped tortoised which I finished in 40 mintues. Profit of the task was over 600k so yes, it is very good money.

They do hurt your stats. The max an overload restores after the 15 seconds is the boost you get. I get boosted from 96 str to 122 str, so the max it can restore every 15 sec is 26 str lvls. If my brew drains me more than that, I'm screwed. Had this at solo bandos when I was wondering why I was hitting crap. (had 36 str/att/def left or something)

did you examine a canadian goose or a terrorist or a realy bad mechanic? but gratz on hilt, 7-8 a trip is nice but u could do 10 with overload, reason being that you can use full brews (still some restores of course) due to overloads restoring ability That was actually quite funny. However if SBrews don't lower your stats with an Overload wouldn't you be better off using Super Prayer Potions rather than SRestores? Good job though Cantristenon! You can't brew infinitely with overload. Every 12 seconds, the boost you get gets restored. For me, I get a boast from 96 to 122, thats 26 points, so every 12 (or 15, not sure) seconds 26 lvls get added, up to a maximum of 122 of course. When I was soloing bandos, and brewing, my brews were draining my stats more than overload could restore.

When I was 95 herblore I could make 12 overloads per greenman's ale. And yes, get overloads. They are not only good for fighting, they are also very good xp for training, and reasonabely cheap (might change though with crazy torstol prices)

I agree. It's win win for both sides (f2p and p2p). Make the dbones and dhides sellable but not usable. More dhides and bones for us :-).

Don't get short ski's, it gets looked down upon. Twin tips are just as long as normal skis. I'm 1m86 and my twin tips are 1m80. My brother has normal carving skis and those are actually only 170 or something, so carving ski's might even be shorter (it depends a bit, race skis for big slalom are longer than the ones for normal slalom). Those big foots are just the easy way out for people that can't handle big skis and it looks ridicilous too. Just learn to ski big skis, it looks nicer, is more of a challenge, and has more possibilities once you can do it.
