  1. Two hoods would remove the "fiddly"ness though :P That's why I think it might work and why I want to test it so badly. But in the end, defensive items + blood necklace will probably be more useful for keyers. I would say it doesn't work. The "unhood effect" is probably bound to your character, and not the item.
  2. Higher floor =/= harder. 45-47 occult has less chance for necro. Thunderous is easy if everybody knows what to do. Also, someone said 35 is harder than 30, I wouldn't know why.
  3. That's the thing. It's the whole attitude, and how this has been going on a long time already. Jagex lost touch with its player base a long time ago.
  4. Yay, top 8 on runetrack for construction. Funny thing is it only took one hour. http://runetrack.com/records_skill.php?skill=construction
  5. Feels a bit weird, getting a skill to 99 in just an hour. (opening the jars was spread over a long amount of time so didn't really feel like a long grind)
  6. woot, construction bones work! Kind of overpowered though, 90-98 constr in 1.5 hours.
  7. why not have untradeable lifeboosting armour upgrades (so you can upgrade your barrows/bandos/rune/... that can be made with smithing. Just make them worse than nex armour, and you have a nicely balanced update. Nex armors already have relatively low LP boost. Smithable armors would have to be weaker than bandos/arma/barrows, so they'd have to have even lower LP boosts (to the point of being useless probably) And an "attachment" style upgrade would be really annoying on their end. how would you implement this? what would you attach to? rune? then you run into the problem of the 10+ types of rune. barrows? it degrades. [hide=just saiyan] [/hide] You can get full virtus for less than 1b, lol. 1b is easy to get if youre a high level. no set is over 3b. an upgrade of existing armour. Say lvl 90 smithing to upgrade your armadyl to give a 150 lp boost in total.

  9. It's 100% worth it if you know what you are doing and can get the bones at a good price. Yepyep :-) Managed to get a bunch at 15-20 gp/xp :-) Rest was more towards 25, but still worth it IMO. (gp/xp for non bonus xp)
  10. That outfit looks horrible to be honest. Do you really think it looks nice, or are you just trying to mix a lot of show off items together?
  11. How much are jars right now? (got 12 heads btw :-))
  12. You smuggled a cannon into CT :o Curious how you get 450+ black demons kills an hour. That's beastly.
  13. Do you repick cannon every prime kill? Or how do you stop it from firing in between kills?
  14. I have 10k addy bars to smith, after using my 1.6k curved and long bones, but I might not even use them when this new smithing update turns out to be better (unless you do you still need addy bars there)
  15. The funny thing is that the more you spend, the more you will profit (NET, so taking into account these costs), at least untill a certain point (I.E. no use for using pvp armour).
  16. That's quite nice, but isnt it easier to use a site? I use this one (well not really, but I have it open when I key just in case): http://www.desolatecarnage.net/rs/dung.htm
  17. The bones are still decent GP/h and I can't see RoW completely replacing these rings. I'm not gonna sell my zerker/seers/archer for this.
  18. To be honest, this tip is not so great. At BXP weekend you really want to get the fastest of the fastest way to lvl a skill since your double xp time is limited. Better to dish out more money and get a ton of xp, than to be a cheap ass and get only half of that. Let's say you want 10m mage xp 10 hours of bonus xp = roughly x1.8 on average (doesn't really matter, it's an esimate) If you do 10 hours of a method that is 200k xp per hour, you get 10 x200k x1.8= 3.6M xp If you do 10 hours of a method that is 100k xp per hour, you get 10 x100k x1.8 = 1.8M xp Difference = 1.8M xp (18 more hours of training after BXP at 100k xp per hour) That's much more than the 1M xp difference it would normally be after 10 hours of training. Also, like Green said, plank making is probably profitable because of the high interest of planks during the weekend.
  19. You seem to be laboring under the impression that whether a player is high level or not is a matter of luck and not something players can control. NOPE. Yep, unliked IRL, born disadvantages don't really exist. Everyone get max total, everyone can get rich, every can... It's not like some people have an account that gets half xp for everything, or some accounts are disallowed to do certain money making methods. Runescape = everyone equal. Or wait, people with brains actually have an advantage (smart training of skills, buying and selling stuff at the right time, ... ).
  20. I agree. I want "fix" year again :D Really dissapointed by smithing update. All they seem to care about lately is to just allow people to get quick xp. Good gameplay > quick xp, jagex.
