I've had 2 effigie in my last 5 tzhaar tasks. Doesn't say anytihing of course, but I ilke them. I also collect the obby charms, which translates to 1.5m money saved per hour (not using water tallies => 6k saved). Combine this with the tokkul and other drops, and they are pretty decent all round.

It's a gambling fallacy that this style of betting (called the "Martingale" system) is actually profitable. Basically, if you have 1.5m to play with, you will get to play 4 games until you lose all of your money. So that gives you a 15/16 chance of making 100k and a 1/16 chance (LLLL, all at 1/2) of losing 1.5m. So, on average, you will win 15 times (1.5m total) and lose once (-1.5m). Interesting. Though, say you've got 10 billion gp. If you restrict yourself from using only 100m, this could work. In the rare case that you happen to lose the 100m, just keep doubling it, and after a few more games, you should have gained it back.

Non fast SC, you should esily get 30k points a game, equating to 3 tools an hour. I mostly skill till 20k pts (around 10 min), then go pking, its fun :-).

Hah, every year that average herb yield per patch climbs. Last time I tried to give this community a reality check I was bombarded with its 6 herbs not 5! 5 of course being my personal experience time and time again. But, hey glad to see the number is climbing, too bad Jagex actually didn't change the code. I personally stopped farming torstols (or anything else) cause I'm already 99 farming and cba doing it when it's not super duper uber good, but IF you decide to farm herbs, they're still easily the best, and they still make you 2-3m+ an hour (being conservative here). It's just that it used to be 5m+ (500k pofit per run which takes 5 min).

You can do rocktails with admiral pies (bring a yak to carry). Isn't too bad, and it's really afkable. Should be 40k per hour tops at your lvl.

Seems that the confidence is recovering then. When all phats where crashing (2 days ago), people were guessing purple at 300-250 m and ely at 200-300m. I think you could've scored some deals these days, liquidating eggs and whatnot. (unless eggs suddenly gain trust too, but I don't see that happening)

It is true though that farming torstol is more unfavourable than ever. Seed prices are still semi high, while herbs have dropped quite a bit. You still make good profit, but it's been better.

Yes, get elite void for prayer bonus and the void effect of course. Ive done many waterfiend task and I can confirm you WILL always profit if you have a decent lvl and gear. You get 200-500k loot an hour, which is more than enough to cover for everything.

Facepalm. How can you be maxe and be so uneducated? Stuff dieing can easily be incorporated, and it already is. I've been farming torstols for quite some time, and I've been making enormous profits. You mention 2 hours of farming, while the actual farming takes 5 minutes... Just stop posting if you don't know what you are talking about, please.

Coinshare needs to be removed. It was simply a horrible remedy to the lack of free trade and the unfairness of random drops. It's created millions of gps out of thin air and seriously imbalanced the game towards a few boring camping places. Of course Jagex soon realized their mistake and added lootshare potential which is a far better fix. But then they leave in coinshare... please, no

If you are going to use bolt racks, you might as well just go chinning IMO. Bolt racks is probably 120+k xp per hour, but at a cost of 400k/h (ammo). Chinning is 300k+ per hour, at a cost of 900k (rough estimate). I know what I'd choose.

Tried out chaotic maul for a change: Bout halfway the task I changed back to rapier. Maul was at a rate of around 215 kills/h, rapier at 240/h (rough measurements). (saved as JPG by accident btw).
