So many [cabbage] being told here. Inflation/deflation/equilibrum is a dynamic process. Money continuously goes in (alching, pvp statuettes, coin drops), money continuously goes out (construction, reparing chaotics/barrows/zaros, shops, ...). This means the arguement "the money is still there" is not valid. It might take a while to reach the new equilibrum but in the long run, there WILL be an equilibrum with LESS money in game (after the removal of pvp statuettes). If you actually looked at the graph of some items, you might have noticed that inflation has already ceased more or less. Actually, depending on how and which items you interpret, we can even talk about deflation. I think dungeoneering plays a role here, because more and more people are getting chaotics and recharging it. Nevertheless, the removal of pvp statuettes will surely switch the equilibrum to deflation (if we weren't already there). Just look back at what happened when they were introduced. Look at the prices we had back then. Look at what they've become. In the long run, we should reach those prices again (in general of course, new updates etc. affected quite a few item's prices). Actually, with dungeoneering items, and now the new Zaros armours, it might be even "worse". Pulli: the richest players quit. Hmm, you mean the ones that constantly use chaotic and torva? The ones that drain millions of gp out of the economy? The ones that buy phats when they quit? I can state exactly the opposite (richest player out of the game means more inflation), so I wouldn't be too quick to draw conclusions there. Also, who told you the richest players quit the most?

180,000 / 2500 = 72gp per shot. Broads are like 150+ gp per, IIR (at school, can't check), so 2x as expensive, or so, but that's assuming 100% loss of bolts. Realistically it's like 20% lost, once again, at school. However, Broads are stronger, and faster, meaning a lot more DPS. Use broads, even pure junk clues would make up for the price difference in 'ammo'. EDIT: Broads are also more accurate, 80% of the time, equally accurate 10% of the time, and less accurate 10% of the time. This is, of course, assuming you're not using the Crystal bow trick, which I assumed for the sake of making my point, that you are not. And even if you are, Broads are still infinitely better. Broad are not infinitely better than a crystal bow 10. In fact, crystal bow is as good or better. Crystal bow is pretty underrated, it's still quite good, especially since you don't have to pick up arrows (which I hate).

It's the anticipation of no more pvp-statuettes-inflation. Armour and weapons have an extra reason to crash, because they no longer get lost when you will die in free trade pvp, your opponent just picks them up. The flipping comment makes sense too. I bet most flippers stopped flipping cause prices are going too unstable (mostly crashing), causing an even more downards trend.

I've been saying this 2 pages ago already, why was I ignored -.- I guess Grimy should be able to calculate new DPS when you take into account that every hit > 500 will be 500. I actually don't think the difference will be *that* big because higher max also means higher average, even with the damage cap. I personally think an all out offensive set should still be the best, seeing that defence bonuses don't matter that much (manuel dodging and positioning does), and a higher max shouldn't hurt that much.

IN the video, I also noticed that the shadow attacks didn't seem to damage the players while they were killing that nort east mage.

Hmm, this might actually make accurate weapons more favourable than high str weapons. In this case, a CCbow (higher accuracy, lower max) might be better than handcannon (lower accuracy, higher max). For melee, high accuracy and high str go together, but still it would make the rapier relatively better (since maul now only profits much less from its higher max hit).

Which attack do you mean with the freeze attack? (there's one which is Icy Bones alike, and another one that's just like ice barrage). I've personally been hit 600+ by her when she disabled my prayer and used some kind of attack after that. Not sure which special that was though.

Well...the max mage def in game should be around 232(with full Pernix) so getting over 200 shouldn't be that hard...(201 is max with karils). Yeah but can you get enough melee and range def too to have the others remain unagressive.

Wow, this armour is gonna be sooo expensive. Btw, does divine work in there? SXQ said he's not sure about it. Also, some people said deflect (well, the deflection back to nex) and leeches don't work. However, I've seen the "your curse drains some ... " in one of the vids of Nex. Lastly, this is early to ask, but do we have any idea of the drop rates? I mean, is it Divine like (1/1200) or more TD-like (1/250). Of course, Jagex might have made the drop rate extra favourable for the first few days.

Gj. Seems to be easier in smaller teams actually. Less chaos, you can she what she's doing, etc. How are you guys avoiding her running attack (when she run's through, and hits everyone on her path). Just spread out? (one guy on every direction) And 10 min for KC seems really fast, is that LS'ing together? Or what monster do you kill (I did rangers, but it didn't seem *that* fast). Perhaps with steel titan. And My Eggs, I was nearly in the same situation man. Well, not really, but I died there too. Luckily I realised I only had one key and in a brilliant moment I thought of yakking it home. So happy I did that.

Having maxed hard skills is also somewhat of a disadvantage, cause every time suomi gets a craft/agil effigy, he has to waste it on crafting. (same for fish/farm)

So essentially, I can access a bank in the GWD for 50k? Or, I don't lose my kc when i bank for 50k? Well, you also need 40 zaros kc to access so it's not really useful. Rijswijk, monster examine is wrong, I've seen a 740 happening. She has this "special" where she puts off your mage prayer, and then uses a very strong mage attack on you (at least, this is how I think it goes); and here she's really dangerous and hits over 700. More stuff on her: When she goes in "shipon mode", you should stop attacking here, cause it seems she adsorbs all the damage and then unleashes it It seems ranged is the best way to go at her. She runs around way too much to melee efficiently. People are claiming slayer helm helps against the coughing, but I'm not sure if this is true.

I feel like this is getting overlooked. this would be the opposite order of the rest of the boss's. I agree, you can see the NPC's in the corner "charging" Nex at the start of the battle. I think they have to be killed before you have to deal with her.. or get 4 people to distract them by attacking them? You can only kill them when Nex calls their names.

Just been at nex with a huge team. He certainly is tricky. We were like 20-30 maxed people, and it still took like 5-10 min to kill it. Few things: sHe drains prayer sHe can make your deflect prayer unavailable for some time When she says "dont fail me now, "mage name", you got to run to one of the 4 mages in the corners and kill it asap". I think it makes nex weaker after that. sHe can hit through deflect mage prayer, but not as hard, it seems (like Corp) sHe poisons sHe can pull you to her

Got all my pices within 3,13, 15 and 30 kills. I'm standing at Nex banker now. I can confirm that only magers and those strange maging beasts seem attacked me. I was wearing Verac's skirt AND a zaros item, so I don't know which one did the job. I can't go check again, cause my kill count is 0 again after entering the banking room. On another note: we see the introduction of even more degradeable stuff that needs GP to repair. Long live deflation :-)

Nope, the amount of money you save by using less prayer points is so small, that it's not worth it. You are better off using claws as a spec weapon for more DPS. Moreover, super prayer pots are not worth it either. There are no slayer tasks where inventory will be such an issue, that you need super prayer pots to be able to do the entire task in one go. Even dark beasts can be done in one go with a war tortoise. They are *really* tiresome to make (takes like one hour to grind less than 200 wyvern bones iirc), so should only be used when you really really need them. Lastly, I see you are 99 herblore, so I don't really get why you are making your own prayer pots? It's faster AND cheaper to just buy them in the GE? If you enjoying DIY'ing, go on I guess, but I'm telling you it's not the fastest way to achieve things.

If inflation would continue, but not as strong, prices would rise, but not as strong. We are experiencing deflation. Correcting street language isn't going to change anything.
