Well, right now those items are crashing because of irrational panic, but in the long run, I think it's obvious they should go down. We are going back to deflation, with the statuettes gone. Nobody remembers 10m BCP's, and 1.3m whip's? I think we can expect those prices again in the long run. Especially with dungeoneering, and more and more people getting chaotics (which takes money out of the game by recharge costs).

Would be pretty epic if you can really break 450k xp/hr. (though I think it's realistically more towards 400-420).

So drumgun is gaining 8M ranged xp per day, I heard. I'm here to theorize about how he does this. Let's say he plays 18h a day (which should be more or less accurate), that's 444k per hour. I remember getting 330k ranging xp with red chins at ape atoll. That was without steel titan, without overloads, without void deflector, and without rigour (and at around 95 ranged). I can imagine that with all those things combined, you can get over 400k ranged xp per hour. Combine this with Drumgun's 18-20h a day playing style, and you get 8m xp gains per day.

sick! 61 only so far for me. Update: 27 herbs from a single patch so far. I had to note them twice before finishing :P. Was a 71 herb run in all, my second so far. Grr, I'm currently in a bad sprea, 5 dead torstols in 4 trips, though 44 herbs twice in a 1-dead-torstol-trip (even broke even with the 2-dead-torstol trip cause of rising torstols). My best in one patch is 20 I believe (though I've had 19 before juju pots).

There were tons of botter/rwt'ers in old wild too, nothing will change. What might cause a chance though is old school pkers coming back and wanting turmoil. On the other hand, deflation caused be "no more statuettes" will set in too, so it can go either way IMO.

Bandos will still be the best in it's niche: slaying/some monsterhunting (dk's and bandos gwd mainly). For safe and dangerous pvp, there are other armours (barrows mainly).

Herbs are pretty cheap, so maybe its a good time to get overloads. They will help more than turmoil at td's too (see quyneax comments)

even with large cash piles you should be able to pull 3%... Last time I tried flipping something like armadyl armour, I was having trouble making more than 1%. Might have been unlucky though, I didn't persist very long.

Um. Santa hats were perfectly fine at GE price and removing caps wouldn't have affected them at all. Also, Santas were 10k at one point. Also 500k. Also 5m. Not sure where you get the idea they were "always" 25m- they've had a slow, general uptrend like every single other rare. The removal of statuettes should have some effects though.

You can either go risky, and invest long term, hoping you are interpretting the given data (ge chart, behind the scenes) right OR You can flip, which is nearly risk free, but only offers about 0,5-2% profit per flip.

I just wanted to add that those people implying that you can make 5% on a flip are either lieing, or flipping small items. Nearly all of the big items (gwd armour, santas, etc) only have a 0,5-2% flip marigin, meaning making 2% is the maximum you could get out of it. Of course, you can get lucky with long term trends, and make more (or get unlucky and make less). So yeah, if you start to hit big money, and flip big stuff (200m a flip), don't expect to make much over 1%).

Basically gold will become more useful as a currency once trade limits are gone, that will increase demand for gold (Replacing the old demand for junk in the rares market, for instance) and cause the price to shift upwards. well, that's only a small part of the reason. The biggest reason is that a huge money source, pvp statuettes, will be removed from the game. Couple this with no more high end items (barrows, whips, gwd armour, claws, etc) being removed from the game through dieing in pvp, and you get deflation. Add in the bots that bring in tons of supplies, and you've got more deflation. More items, less money => price goes down. I wouldn't be surprised to see bcp and tassets at 15m or less again. (basically all the stuff you wondered how the hell it has gotten so high with all the inflation, should return long term).
