  1. Though I've known about the existence of them, I've never actually seen one till now. Adding blue-faced greegree to my list of Runescape goals. fyi my data suggests that they are around 1:2500 loots from zombie imps My data suggest they are around 1/1000 and i've got more than 20 of them... I've got 7 and they seem to be indeed around 1/1000. (more towards 1/1500 for me though)
  2. I would strongly suggest papaya's over pineapples. The payment is still very cheap (pineaples, which you can get for free from del monte during your farm run), you get a nice end product (9 papaya's each with an ent), which sells for a decent amount of money. Also, when the scroll of life decides to work, you get a nice 40k, in stead of a measly 10k, or whatever the price of pineapples is. For trees, I did yews, since they're not that much more expensive compared to maples. Herbs: torstols, but it might have changed with this new update, seeds gotten very expensive,meaning you should only farm with those pots. Calquats are also very nice, cheap, and a big chunk of xp each visit;
  3. I like to pray melee on steel drags just for convenience. I dunno why, but I never use fire cape for slaying. I use either ardy cloak for high def tasks (abby demons, dark beasts, metal drags) and SW cape for the rest. It's not like I don't have the money for fire cape to be efficient, but I don't like to drink so many ppots all the time. Maybe I'll change up for the last stretch of slaying.
  4. I know how it feels, just did 80-90 con. I used sc hammers for the last lvl cause I was sick of it. Right now I'm opening zombie jars, and keeping the bones for the next xp weekend. 90-99 in an hour or 2 :-)
  5. So 100k players all get 500k? That's 50B right there in the economy. Would this have any effect?
  6. Where is Jack? Tbh, I dont like the new interface, way too bulky IMO.
  7. Seriously? Seriously? The fastest xp is granite, and anything other than that is a dramatic loss of xp. Banking iron is what, like 40k xp/hour and 250k gp/hour max? You lose a good 15k xp per hour for a nominal amount of cash. Don't forget it's also much less of a hassle just banking it in stead of dropping.
  8. The santa thread on the RSOF is very informative. Just search santa on the RSOF.
  9. Finishing up 300m atm. After I hit 300m, I'll be going to train at Skullball. 1bil xp is only the more well known, overall goal. I'm actually aiming to do atleast 1k hours at every course in the game on my way there. huh?
  10. I'd buy extra bstaves from the GE to speed it up a bit, that's how I got 95 crafting at least. I'd get fletching cause it's more total lvls, is pretty useful in daemonheim (making GC bows for necro), and it's a nice thing to do for those dead times at the GE or Daemonheim (broad arrows that is). For RC, I'd just do ZMI till you can't stand it, then do TD's/frosts till you can't stand those etc. Just switch it up a bit. Not sure which one is really most "efficient".
  11. Just do your farm runs on lunar, and stop being so arrogant. If you ask for advice, at least listen to it. If not, gtfo.
  12. Just got the staff and tried it. I must admit you barely feel the difference. Guess I will get cbow next :-)
  13. Certainly not spending it on xp. 200k xp is 1h work with a good team, which is not worht 18m iMO.
  14. Srry, I do have one, just forgot about it. I'm just not very keen on c'bow since I seem to never even use a normal c'bow so yeah... + a max hit boost is much more visable than a bit more accuracy.
  15. Just mage tasks with monsters that have low magic defence (and high melee defence). Profit doesn't have anything to do with whether it's good to mage a task or not. I would mage abby demons metal drags black demons ...
  16. I got all the overloads I need (got 99 making them) so I won't buy herb scroll anytime soon, but I certainly will if I ever decide to make more. Right now, I'm thinking of getting staff first, then bonecrusher and totem, and lastly chaotic crossbow. After that I will keep the rest (should be around 200-300k) in case I die with a chaotic, or to recharge em cheaply.
  17. So, I'm going for 100 dungeoneering, and the tokens are starting to accumulate. I've bought rapier, maul, rigour, gem bag, herbicide, scroll of efficiency, and arcane stream necklace already. Right now, I'm at lvl 95 dungeoneering, and I have 200k tokens again. Should I get staff or crossbow? Note that I do not ever do armadyl solo, and don't really plan to either. I sometimes do TD's, sometimes Dk's, sometimes safe pvp. I'm slightly leaning towards staff atm, since hitting high is always more fun. I will also get 5-6m more DG xp sometime in the future, so I will probably get both anyway actually. So maybe it's better to see the big picture: What should I spend 700k tokens on (taking into account the items I have already). Bonecrusher and totem really a waste of tokens? Tbh, the only alternative I see is to save some tokens for recharging, which would mean every chaotic would "cost" me 16m or so.
  18. Or simply don't play that content. I'm interested in why you think people hate on the content, more then anything. Is it laziness, jealousy, a desire for instant gratification, or a "need" to grind in order to access? What do you think? All of the above, I think. Jealousy is definitely the largest factor, but that jealousy often stems from laziness ("I don't want to work for it, so NOBODY should have it!") and the need for instant gratification. It's really sad, actually. These people are so greedy and hellbent on dumbing the game down for everyone else . . . and for what? So they can play for six months, quit, and never come back? Pathetic. Maybe I just have a different mentality when it comes to Runescape. I've been playing since the game came out, practically, and it has ALWAYS been my goal to get the "best stuff," if you will. When GWD came out, I never once complained that I couldn't get on teams or that I couldn't participate -- rather, it became my GOAL to reach the levels required to participate. What we have, essentially, are two groups: mature and immature players. The immature players cannot handle not having whatever they want, when they want it. The mature players realize and APPRECIATE that this is a goal-oriented game that rewards players for their efforts. While I mostly agree with you, I think it's a bit shortsighted to call everyone who complains about it immature. Some people like to play mostly for "instant fun" (pkers for instance), and when there's a big chunk of gameplay only available when they grind a mindnumbing skill like firemaking (let's say a whole new area needs 95 firemaking to enter), then I can see why they complain.
  19. Party hats have no inherent gameplay value. Spirit Shields actually have a use. I would absolutely swap a phat for a divine, as amassing pointless wealth is, frankly, boring, and when that's all that's left to do in a game, I usually just quit playing. Do all your posts have to look like it was written from an amateur who just got back on rs from a short term break? Seriously. It's obvious you don't own a partyhat, or never felt having one before for that matter so your definition of "frankly" "boring" is just as obtuse as your head is. I have owned a partyhat, have not owned one, and own one again now. I know how it feels and I cal tell you that when you have one, it's nothing special (which is why I ended up selling my hat several times before now), and when you don't, you somehow feel the urge to get one back cause you know it's rising (well, the 2 times I sold my hat, they ended up doubling in value after that). However, flaming Troacctid cause he doesn't feel the need to get one, is going a bit far IMO.
  20. I don't really support. Yes, it's easy to think they should raise the caps when you have been playing 6 years, and you've accumulated 30+m hp xp, but seriously, even for the above average gamer, 104m HP xp is a bit too much of a grind.
  21. Ffs, this made me crave for a tip it cc even more: I'm joining this team and offer to key, since leader didn't seem very keen on it. One of the guys is a friend of the other, playing Call of Duty so he's basically useless. I didn't really notice untill pretty late in the dg cause I was busy keying. I'm noticing the guys following me all the time, so I ask them to not do to that. They keep doing that, so I start askign it in a more flaming way. At one point, I finally ask to ggs cause there is a 133 shade attacking me in a puzzle room, and I see one of the guys just continuing killing a zombie in the room next to it (he was following me). At this point I get really mad, they're following me when I don't want to, and they don't come when I want them to. Guess what, those nubs kick me. Being kicked as the keyer, when your dg is nearly done, how freaking sad can it be.
