DFS Worth It?
Nope. DFS has a very niche use (where you need a lot of defence, and can sacrifice attack bonuses for it).

Has anyone else been lagging lately?
I'm whitescreening pretty often lately. I'm playing rs and suddenly the screen goes white. Everything else keeps working, its just goes white. If I refresh the window, it loads the log in page like normally again.

Deflect curses at Barrows
So the picture with the Zilyana deflect hit means Zilyana would have hit 358 if he didn't have deflect magic on?

korasi sword vs d claws spec?
I prefer to use claws, but on ahrim/karil.

Santa or Torva?
Items are only put in the GE when coinsharing, and I seriously doubt the pro teams will even consider coinsharing Nex. And why on earth would you keep your santa if you're low on money? :S Becaues he hopes it will rise again. He thinks: as long as I don't sell it, I haven't really made a loss. When he sells it, he will be 40 poorer than before, and I guess he cant accept that

How do you manage to do a 6 item switch clean every time? Do you use mousekeys? Are mousekeys actually a viable option for hybridding (mh or pvp)

Godsword Discussion
I think the trend of the godsword prices says enough. I was pretty amused seeing a BGS is a measly 13m, ZGS 16, SGS 34 and AGS 55. The GS times are over, chaotic is in the house. GS's are so 2009

He's got a little kid now who helps him selling the bstaves. No idea why though.

korasi sword vs d claws spec?
Only place I use it is miths, where claws tend to miss pretty often. Steels might be good too, if you dont have overloads/turmoil/slay helm.

Santa or Torva?
Well, if free trade isn't out yet, you might be able to snipe a piece, but those chances are very slim. In any case, I don't see santa going up any time soon, so I'd sell it if I were you. Shouldn't have put your whole bank into one item, I hope you learned something today :-)

Protect Prayers looked down upon
Pff this discussion is turning into another pker vs no-pker arguement. Obviously, if you are doing a clue in the wildy or something else, you only want to survive and you do whatever it takes. Same for when you just try pking a few times. I can understand however that, when you pk very often, you prefer to not waste resources and have interesting fights, in stead of prayer fights which last 10 minutes and where the guy teles at the end. That's a waste of time for both. I suggest you guys try to think as a pker, and not always use your own narrowminded skillers viewpoint. (I'm not a pker myself btw, but I try to understand them :-))

How are you preparing for Nex?
I love your extra rapier. I would be kinda preparing myself if I didn't have exams untill the end of January. Still, if I find some time in the first few days, I'll go check it out. Should find a good team first though (*hint* theancient).

Onyx Ring (i)
Safe pvp tribridding I guess.

Barrowing
Nope, space doesn't matter that much in barrows, and a spec weapon is very much worth it. Slayer dart isn't fine, if there's better stuff for the same price (fire wave), or even better stuff for a higher price (claws of guthix). That's what I forgot to say btw, I'd suggest using a better spell than slayer dart. Claws of guthix is the best you can do now (with charge). Get an arcane stream necklace too.

Protect Prayers looked down upon
just as i said, a safe pvp prod talking about pking. The whole point of edge pking is to fight one style against another and all of the pkers there know that. They don't even pretend they are doing anything else. Real pking, usually done in high level wilderness or with a team is all about hybriding, and every hybrid pker will be against praying too, as it practically eliminates KO potential, therefor drastically lowering the number of kills you get. You'd be stupid to think praying doesn't decrease damage against a hybrid as changing combat styles takes alot more clicks than changing prayers. just watched a couple of mage bank pk vids, and guess what, in most vids people were praying

Protect Prayers looked down upon
If you want to see which option is better you need as much samples as you can get. In this situation they are fighting to see who's better, so a prolonged fight is a good idea. Well if one of them has an ADHD or doesn't have time - it's his problem. A prolonged fight, as said, usually doesn't end in a winner. Fights in the wilderness end because one fighter gets KO's, not because one runs out of food. Bedman, that's just another save pvp prod cliche. Nobody in high level wildy(mb/hut area) uses only one style. There is nothing to love about praying even if you hybrid. I was talking about edge vengenace pking. I'm pretty sure most people just stop fighting if you use protection prayer. In high lvl wildy, where people bring more than one style, I'm pretty sure they won't complain about you praying, but just switch styles in stead.

TDs worth it without SS/turm?
I think if you are very good at switching, normal prayers are better because you can use piety AND rigour/eagle eye

Farming *NEW QUESTION*
Combat bracelet brings you right next to another bush. And if you have your tree in miscellania, you can get to that bush tree very quick too (mobilising armies tele). For best set up for tree run: Look at the farming guide by Zaaps in the AOW. I personally have a tree at miscellania and use brimhaven tele tabs for the brimhaven patch and calquat. Bring a giant ent for more profit of the papaya/coconut you harvest. Harvest your cacti spines too while you have the ent, cause it works on those too! For herbs and bush, I do a set up that lets me do them both very quick. Herbs and bush run set up Wear: Ardy cloak ring of duelling magic secateurs combat bracelet Bring: 5 herb seeds, 4 poison ivy seeds Spade and seed dibber 5 super compost 2 fire runes, 5 air runes, 3 law runes Lumby ring Ectophial Rimmington chipped tablet Wolpertinger (summon it) Bush run Start by using the rimmington chipped tablet, harvest and replant ivies Combat bracelet, harvest replant ivies Mobilising armies, spirit tree to miscellania, harvest and replant ivies Ardy cloak monastery tele, harvest and replant ivies (this should take only 2 min, so it's worth it IMO) Herb run Trollheim tele, harvest replant herbs Ectophial, harvest and replant herbs Lumby ring tele, harvest and replant herbs Ardy cloak tele, harvest and replant herbs Camelot tele, harvest and replant herbs, bank in Catherby. (I STRONGLY STRONGLY recommend juju pots, even if you cba getting them. It's easier than i sounds). (I don't bother with flower patch anymore)

Do you use the zamorak favours? I have like 10 and can't decide if it's worth it to get more. At 180k xp per hr without them, it's 52 hours versus 48 hours to 99 if I do use the potions. 4 hrs saved to obtain 160 zamorak vines + 160 samadens? Along with the pain of trying to figure out what attracts those dumb zamorak jadinkos... edit: more importantly, do you use scentless potions? those seem much easier and more effective Should have done it when you discovered zammy ones the first time to get the mask. That's how I did it. Definitely worth it IMO. Still need to get scentless though. I prefer to do more varied stuff, and get bigger xp at the end, than just grinding a few hours more.

Protect Prayers looked down upon
It's because most pkers just want to do melee only fights, and a fight where both people use protect melee is just lame and boring. You might be a hybridder and love it, but a lot of people like simple melee fights.

Granite/sandstone is still the fastest mining xp right?
If you do a few torstol runs a day (+ tree run), you should profit from farming
- Conquest

Rise in bone prices?
I guess deflation will make them go down eventually, but in the mean time the influx of new pkers might cause them to stay at their current lvl (and not deflating like the rest).
