I don't visit the RSOF so I hadn't heard about this particular incident, but I did notice that the dozen or so bots I reported daily in Edgeville bank disappeared after many weeks, so I had a feeling there was a mass ban. I was beginning to worry that bots were gonna outnumber humans again.

From Snowboarding? Or Snowverload? From snowboarding, I haven't done snowverload. I must've been atleast at adamant or rune level before it happened though, seemed to take a while Did you by any chance happened to talk to santa? It might just be that snowverload had just been defeated. I got the paper and message while I was on the ramp, so I'm not sure what happened there. Maybe its just a low chance like the random festive food too? I got 2 paper and festive foods while on the ramp. Walked over to Santa and people said Snowverload had just been defeated. So it seems that anyone in the crater when Snowverload dies gets the rewards, regardless of whether or not they help.

Managed to get 99.5k exp over the course of my 30 minute aura. 2/3 of that was bonus, so 33k exp, or 66k exp/h base. Not half bad. Test done at level 81 if that makes a difference. My strategy is to do trick 1, 3, 4 for a total requirement of 83%. Gives me a little more room to make mistakes.

Anyone have a guess as to the exp/h snowboarding? I have to wait to get on my desktop because hitting presents with a laptop touchpad is awful.

Treasure hunteris the place to go to buy levels. With the introduction of bonus weekends, skilling outfits, and other promotions, treasure hunter has taken a good portion of the illicit gold market. In addition, it has brought people into the "real world trading" market that never would have before; who can pass up a prismania? Regarding the original topic, historically jagex only takes out the mass traders that literally make a living buying and selling gold for margins. Other then that, also historically speaking, Jagex usually only takes out players that dump 50b+ in gold. The minor trades of a few mil are far to difficult to track for it to be worth Jagex time. Their approach has been to be more proactive rather than reactive; ie, keeping it in house and making other methods easier and more attractive (bonds, solomons, keys, etc.) Are you saying people buy illicit gold and then spend illicit gold on keys? Is it not more cost-effective to just buy keys from Jagex? What is the cost of one key in real life money for buying large quantites? The image you posted in the pictures thread shows RWTers selling gold for 44 cents per mill. Bonds are $5. Current price is 7.4M, giving you 68 cents per mill. That's 50% more than the RWT price. If you use the average price of a bond, that jumps up to 75% more. If you're buying just a few M, it's not a huge difference. However, if you're buying in the hundreds of M, I can definitely see some people taking that risk. *fun fact - they are the same price for USD and CAD even though USD is worth more. If you want to take the time to get the frozen key, Nex would be best. I didn't want to put in the effort so I used all 9 of my darts on KK. My droplog is below for reference. Notice how I got unnoted sharks twice. There was a great deal of rage to be had. In a more positive note, someone did end up getting B2B drygores from darts. So there's always the chance...

Melee isn't that bad for waterfiends assuming you've got at least chaotics.

Is that including if you sell back the pouches? No it's not I kind of forgot about that You can also alch the pouches and use the GP to buy more shards. Not sure if it is better or worse than trading them in but at least you get all that magic xp.

Just tested out the summoning seconds I'm using. Pik buys granite (500) for 1gp each and sells it for 1 gp each, so no loss. The other seconds are too much loss for me being water orb (90/300), tortoise shell (300/1000), and rune bar (1500/5000).

But granite don't stack. EDIT: Oh.... do you buy 5kg blocks and then cut them at the obelisk?

How does that work? Do people sell supplies to Pickupsticks and buy them back?

Yeah. I know just how messy its getting. I am able to do ot the long way so I won't ask someone to do that for me unless they really love the math. Was just hoping there was a way to avoid brute forcing it. If someone can confirm my math, I'm coming up with 415 blues used.

I'm planning on using up all of my banked charms during BXPW but I'm uncertain just how many secondaries I'll need to buy because I have a bunch of spirit gems. I've been trying to figure it out, but I just can't get my head around the math of how many of each charm I'll end up using. Is there someone here who can help me out with the math? Below is my inventory of gems / charms. Obviously I'll be using the best gems on blue first, then crimson, etc. Spirit gems: onyx = 1 dstone = 1 diamond = 4 ruby = 11 emerald = 17 sapphire = 22 Charms blue = 222 crimson = 2258 green = 941 gold = 1322

Got darts again. 3 more KK 7 - 40 rune bars 8 - 10 torstol seed 9 - 50 unnoted sharks (really?!?!?!?!?)

Won darts again. Adding to my KK droplist from last week 1 - 10 snap seeds 2 - 10 torstol seeds 3 - 30 lant 4 - 10 dwarf seeds 5 - 5 palm seeds 6 - 50 unnoted sharks (why Jagex?!?! WHY!!!) 1.8M total from 6 darts. Bleh. Would've been better off trying my luck on silverhawks.
