I just got on so I have no idea but...you could take a rune axe, fire staff, knife. Then cut the cursed mage tree, leave the realm, then fletch the mage logs in the wildy. Then alch and continue. I have not done the quest, I just said this based on what everyone has said. It would be nice to get exp in WC / Fletch / Mage and a little cash to go along with it. From what I'm hearing, not many people will go cut there so you would be alone.

Sure, wannabe mods can be anoying, but if no one ever reported rule breakers, and just let people swear, spam etc, I would not like to see RS. I went to a friends house and played halo 2 online, it was awful. There are the 'hardcore gamers' that are like ' dude what the f! you fing killed me you mother fer i hate your fing guts, get a fing life.' And of cource, with no way to report them, they'll just keep going and going. So, sometimes it takes something like a bunch of wanna be mods to keep the game within reason. With the fear of getting reported, you are alot less likely to break the rules. And yes, I am a P mod, and I have had many people ranting to me about wannabe mods and mods

At flesh crawlers i could get 25k exp per hour at 70 - 70 - 70 so I think 40k is great.

I'm not sure how good they are, but dark wizzards south of varok. I used to use them as a nub to get runes. Not insane amounts of nats, but great amounts of other runes that you can sell for more nats.

I think there are 3 types of skills: Combat Combat related Non-combat Combat includes your, attk, str, def, range, mage Combat related includes prayer, hp, slayer, summoning All non-combat is all the others. Just my views :

People also haven't mentioned that it was W1, F2p trading world. If you are going to see alot of F2p'ers with rares it is there. I mean, with over 130M accounts made, and around 1M+ members...just the sheer volume of F2p should tell you that you could full the GE in W with at least 50 buyers / sellers. I am 90% F2p and I got skills like 85 wc, 70 mining, 75 fishing all in F2p, they may not make alot of money alone, but together it all adds up. And there is not much in F2p to spend money on. PS -> I got 70 RC purely F2p, That means I crafted 150K ess into airs. Thats like 900k air runes which makes 14M, enough for santa just from 1 skill.

Like what alot of people said, unless you have 20M for bbones, don't even try to buy it. And killing things for prayer, it's not bad, but very slow. I would have to say, wait until members till 70 prayer. Maybe get 52 or something, alot faster and cheeper. Then just ask a friend to use their gilded alter and d bones. PS -> I got 70 rc pure f2p ;)

Like what Aneron said, with a high total it means you have tried more parts of them game. (There are 8 CB related skills and 16 non-combat) I have nothing against people with low cb/total, but it is a peeve of mine when people say: A) That a skill(s) is useless and not worth training or, B) That the point of RS is to kill monsters and not skill I actually had someone come up to me and make fun of me because I am more of a skiller. He told me that the only point for skills was to make lame requirements on quests and make them hard. He also said you should be able to do anything ( cut any tree etc ) without the needed lvls because requirements to do things is lame.

I have been thinking about getting 85 smithing. This will take 100k iron bars made into pl8's. I was wondering, how many bars can I use per hour if I smith them in Varrok? Thanks in advance

Alching Add pl8's and green d'hide bodies is like 50 gp loss per alch and at 65 exp per alch it is alright exp for f2p. For 80 mage f2p I mostly did FOG, fire bolt, and alching. If you want, you can wear as much melee armor as posable ( full rune, gauntlets, SOS boots ) and cast fire strike on the caged up Monk Of Zamorak onder the stairs in the Varok castle.

Hi! Recently I have been having troubles with my computer. It is a 2004 Acer ( I know... :roll: ) It is a family computer that isn't used for a whole lot. Lately I have been getting a message saying that my virtual memory is too low and windows has to make more or something like that. I have tried to let the computer sit for a few hours to make more but it never works...whenever I try to open something it just closes. So I just restart my computer and it is fine for a few days. What can I do? PS ----> has to be free and not downloaded :-w

Ok Ill start with your number 4 point. I dont get what you mean by higher levels? I'm just saying that So people could look unique. Next Ill jump to your number 6 point. I didnt say I would add thousands of quests. I said I would add a few, so that people wouldn't be bored if they had already done all the quests. Don't you feel bad for f2p? Only like twenty cheesy quests. I know they don't pay, but soemthing new every once in a while, wouldn't hurt. And your number 7 point, I didnt say that i was going to make skilling so easy that it gave u 99 in a lvl in ten days. I was just saying, that it shouldnt take so long that it takes you years and years to get 99 in a skill. And some people dont want to be on ten hours a day. PLus what if i dont have that long to live. Maybe I want to accomplish something before i die. lol By higher lvls I meant that they are not likely gonna make a new armor that takes 40 defence because we already have rune. Jagex always like to "1 up" itsself. Feel bad for F2P...I am F2P! I have been a member in the past and I must say it is well worth it. And I want to get it back but my parents won't let me. Before they implimented the changes Jagex actually had a few mass bans in a mater of days. One day I went to mudskipper point and reported 107 macros in 1 world (yes, I counted) The next day I logged on and I saw 1! So most of the macros were banned just before and after the update. I suspect jagex is still banning accounts they suspected of macroing before to clean out the highscores :D

It was so bad credit card companies were threatening to remover their services for P2P because people were using stollen credit cards to get their gold farmers memberships. 6 - They do make plenty of quests... forget how many they made last year. If you make thousands of quests how unique are they gonna be? Runescape quests are well thought out with interesting story lines and very unique objectives. 7 - Are you serios? That is the worst idea ever...Skilling is supposed to take a long time, otherwise getting 99 in a skill wouldn't be that special. "oh look, I just got my 23'rd 99 of the month. Yay" The best part of a 99 is not the 99 itsself but the feeling you have when you finish a long goal. What feels better in your heart...working to make $1M or finding $1M? 8 - They do suspend people for short times for minor offences. After a time the minor offences pile up and BOOM! Perm ban! That is why they created the black mark system, minor offences get few marks, major get more...you reach 10 and banned.

The minimum GE price is based on the high alch value combined with nature rune value. Jagex set that up so people couldn't make tons of money alching random underpriced things. They did not specificly target and 1 item
