I became a Player Mod on September 1, 2006 and have had my ups and downs as one. Before the GE I had 20M when it came out and we had open free trading I bought willows for 12 ea and sold them for 22 ea on the GE. That made me around 50M. Since then I have been coming out about even with money spent on skills and income from merching. Although, when the PKing update came I made 10-15M on str pots. I have also made 10M on santa hats. My latest merchanting venture hasn't work as well, I thought santas would stop falling at 16.8 so I bought 6. It turns out there were a lot more being dumped than I though. Thank to all of you for your help, although you are just telling me how to avoid the problem, not fix it. This is a family computer and no one in our family is tech savvy. So when I get a new program it takes a long time to get used to it. And even though Firefox may be better I still like my good ol' IE7. So if someone could please think of what to do, or at least as questions that I may be able to answer that can help you figure out what's wrong, that'd be great. I'll be gone for the weekend but I'll try to check this forum. PS-> when in firefox I try to log into TIF, I put in my username and password, then click login. It says successfull login, then I click the Board Index button and it asks me to log in again.....it is sending me in a circle. Whats going on?

I already removed the Ad-Aware I don't have other browsers but I'll try and find some The computer itsself is like 4 years old. This summer we got a virus and had to get the computer wiped so there are very few programs on it. Also, we upgraded to 2GB ram. I rarely have other programs running when I play. CPU percentage is relativly low and no ther processes.

Recently my computer has been acting up, not loading things properly, not alowing me to go to some sites, and I can't even load a runescape world. I have the newest version of Java (at least I tried to download it from Java's site) and I have all the normal requirements to play RS. I have been playing RS on this comp for over 3 years and this is the first time that this has happened. When I go to the Java site and test to see whether I have the most recent Java installed the browser just freezes up and I have to kill it from the Task Manager. I know I have Java installed because in my Add/Remove Programs there are like 10 things all named Java. PS-> a week ago I came to Tech and Computers and followed a link to get Ad-Aware. I downloaded it and the problems happened shortly after that. I have had Ad-Aware in the past (before my computer had to be wiped) and had no problems with it. PLEASE HELP ME! And thank you in advance. Edit-> here is a pic of what comes up when I try to load a RS world. It comes up on other sites too (actually most sites) And when I click on the little popup thingy it tells me to install the Active-X controll. I click yes, then nothing happens (I have left it alone for 30 mins and still nothing)

Hmmm...your other skills aren't too great for money making a few ideas are: Cut yews and sell for maples (around 12 maples cost same as 1 yew) Mine coal (5 maples per 1 coal) RC airs ( you can make 5 per ess, thats 500 maples per hour value in air profits) Sell your logs and buy suplies for steel bars ( 6 maples per bar ) Or you could just cut willows and burn them Hope I helped

I'd say put it towards a skill that is very slow (HP, slayer, RC)
