In the archeive of wisdom there are many money making guides. Most I've seen in a guide is 750k per hour (not including luck based things like GWD) So without merching and skilling and all other forms of cash income at once, 2B is out of the question.

Jagex changed the way partyhats worked on the GE. They changed it so they were far more sensitive to make up for the lack of huge numbers needed to move an items price. To balance this they changed the value margin to 1% lower and 1% higher. So patyhats can fall consistantly, but with a lower pace then the 5% other items get. Also, you sure puprles are 90M street? I see people selling them for 40M + junk all the time

I generally think of players in 4 types: Skillers - A player with 3 combat (or some chose to have hp) and high non-combat skills Skillers with combat - Someone with Combat but are more geared towards non-combat related skills Normal - More or less evenly leveled in skills and combat skills Pures - Someone devoted to combat with very little 'skills'

When I was p2p I never really got many lvl 3's but I did them all. I think that they provide a much needed break from grinding out tasks of 150+ anything. In my short time as p2p I was insanely lucky with clues (many wizzy G and T, zammy robes, couple of pages (2 zammy in 1 clue :thumbsup: ), and even a top hat). All in all, I think that they are good fun ways to take breaks and there is the added bonus of free money. \

What you should have done is sold all your p2p items and had 83M cash in your bank Then quit, come back in 2 months and buy white phat (look at the GE charts)

You have no idea how much [cabbage] mods get for the crown next to their name, do you? So so true. I'd say for everyone that likes mods there are 2 that hate us. And, I am sorry if I came off a little rude or mean, but when someone rants against both my favourite chat, my friends, and player mods I get pretty upset.

Then merched willows when the GE came out. Got to 80M. Went on crazy skilling spending spree and now I merch about as much as I spend and stay consistantly at 75-85M. How much money have you made from it? Hard to say, likely over 100M before expenses Do you agree with the purpose of this guide? Mostly, excpet that clan merchanting section. Nice guide btw Haven't tried yet, but this guide looks very helpful. You buy 1 item for max price. Then you get the item and some money back. That shows you what people are selling the item for and you can base your purchace on that. EX: yews are 425 - 450 - 475.......You put an offer in for 1 log at 475 gp and get that log and 28 gp back. This tells you that people are selling yews for 447 gp. Then all you have to do is offer 448 and wala all they yews you need (most of the time).

I think you should hold onto it and make as much use of it as possable while the GE price rises. Then when you've had your fun / the GE price hits its max, sell it and do some serios skilling :thumbsup: Grats and have fun

ESC is one of the better CC's out there, but being a public chat there will be noobs regardless. In ESC we try not to take ourselves to seriosly, because honestly, if you try to be serios you will end up just talking about religion, race, politics. Yes you may have entered the chat at a very bad time when some people were not behaving how they should but whatever. Being one of the original BSCers I typicly get alot of respect (also b/c i am a Pmod). ESC is a very tight knit group and newcomers let alone Forsaken chat goers typicly get flamed until they leave It's just how things go, and ESC is a good chat!!!!!!!!!!1 :evil:

So let me get this straight.... You lose 30M and think about quiting Then you go to GWD because you have nothing to lose You get 2 solo hilts I think Jagex doesn't want to lose you! Nor do I

It is a combinataion of time and price manipulating clans. Time - the longer an item is out the more common it becomes. More suply same demand = less cost Price Manipulators - certain clans buy out all of a certain item to create false demand, this raises price. Then they all sell at min and push the price of the items way down. Often the price goes lower than it started at. A few rounds of this and items can go down alot. (wanna see price manipulators in action? look at the graphs for air tallies)

Judging by the time of the update and the time TUBA finished it, it doesn't seem to be a very long quest. For 47k exp and 2 qp it doesn't seem bad. Can't wait till a guide comes out so I can read up on all the history (f2p atm)

Hmm...being F2P atm I really have no idea but, couldn't you use black dagger (p++) until it is poisoned and then switch to a scimitar or something? Makes the most sence in my head.

From what I understand , new items appear in the GE when they come out, but only become buyable / sellable 24 hours later.

I honestly can't rate this over a 5 because your horrible non-combat stats...I know, not everyone likes skilling, but honestly, get over 26 fishing! Even getting all yours stats to 50 would make it far better and more pleasing to the eyes. So 5/10 . more if you get some non-cb lvls
