Well college football is more exciting, due to the ties and loyalties people have to different universities. In my case, my dad attended Georgia and I plan to attend next year. And watching sports is certainly more exciting than watching someone eat food. :? Yea, I know, I'm, just trying to say, it's more fun, imo to actually do it, then watch someone do it.

Can't really say I'm looking forward to it at all, considering watching ANY sports PERIOD, whether be on TV, or i nStadiums is a hobby I have no idea why anybody likes. I see it as, watcjign someone eat a very expensive thing of food. It looks really good, and they're enjoying it, but whats the point of watching it when you can just go ahead and eat it. Yea, God's greatest gift (at least, most Christians believe) after the gift of life, was the gift of choice. God could have made us all penecostal\cahtolic\baptist\anglican whatever Christians, all six billion of us, and we all would worship him, but to be honest, I can't understand why he didn't do it that way, but no humas can comprehend all of God, as stated in the Bible, thought I can't remember the voice, "It's God's glory to conceal things, and Man's glory to discover them." Maybe we'll find out why God didn't do it that way. But at the moment, I agree with Magnetto, in that it's simply love. And as for confessions, Magnetto, God won't hate you if you switch sects I guess you could call them. My mom used to be Catholic, and my dad was Methodist, when they married they become Presbyterian, now we're Penecostal. So, really, research all of the possible solutions, and go to different churches, sit in the back if you want, and try it out, and whatever you feel like you should go to, go.

Now Spontaneous Generation is a perfect example of how religion can embrace science. I'm glad you mentioned it. Back in the 1850's or thereabouts the Church endorsed the Spontaneous Generation theory. Louis Pasteur and numerous other scientists worked on proving the Germ theory (Disease is spread by microscopic Germs). It was eventually fully accepted by the Church in about 1890, who were way behind the rest of the society. Think about where we'd be without the Church accepting that theory; no hygiene, less cures for disease for everybody who does not believe in the Germ Theory. And i repeat again. Atheism is not a belief that there is no God. It is the lack of belief in any God. And since when has this been an 'Atheistic World' - its a far too theistic world for my liking. And since when have Atheists had no morals (or wanted to have a moral less world)? That is completely unfounded. All humans have equal morals- believing or not believing in the guy in the sky does not change that. Well, here's the thing, the Church can, and have embraced science before, as stated above, and numerous other things; like the world is around, and how we revolve aroundthe world. The Church accepted that, because the Bible didn't say anything against it. And you're also quite right, Atheist do have morals, infact, some of my atheistic friends at school are generally nicer people then the Christians at my church. But also, we do live in an Antheist world, generally.

A good Christian is tolerant of gays and criminals, it doesn't mean he needs to approve of it, it just means he shouldn't throw bibles at them and preach to them. God nkows not everyone is going to Heaven, and Christian don't realize that, and make it their personal mission to make everyone they've ever talked to become a Christian. And I know that because I have worked in 5 churches (not saying it is a lot). They raise money for helping the poor, making food and clothes banks, sending money to missionaries around the globe, helping other churches. I know about churches that are classed under "pentecostal" <- part of protestantism. For catholic churches i don't and won't care yeah I agree, nobody in my church makes any money from it (apart from the senior pastors, I think) They also have people volunteering to do everything. With the money they have been raising for Mosambique they used it for materials to build a church. That way the people over there learnt how to build a house (some people went from our church to help them) so now they can go and build other places, with their newly learnt skill (which is a far better thing for them than just getting money to buy things with :)) Well yo guys do know that the average tithe is used to pay the Pastor's salary, and bills for the church. I just remember that pisses me off too. In my alg 2 class I got a 4% on the pre-test (thank god it didn't count for a grade, it was judging to see how much of algebra 1 we remembered. I didn't remember much..), and this one guy who got a 96% was arguing with the teacher on the problem he missed, trying to get a 100. What the hell. Yea, there's this kid in my Physics class who tried to debate the teacher in that Algebra II\Trig was a higher math then Math Anal. :x

I was just about to make this same exact topic with the same exact question. o.O I think it is reliable, and most teachers are mistaken, but really, if you're doing a project, any half assed school would give you passwords to various databases, Gale Group being the best, I think, because not only does it do a bibliography, everything is like triple checked so you won't have wrong info, unless you incorrectly infer something. So yea, I think it's reliable, but not the best.

That's an opinion. And to be honest, I don't google anything when I am debating, becuase I really hate debating online, because face it, everyone including I, say stuff they wouldn't normally say, whether ridiculous or true, they may just throw stuff out there, or completely disregard a statement. Which is why I'm not going to debate this anymore, because I realized I don't really want my mind "changed." per se, call me ignorant, sure, but I'm happy just the way I am.
