Yeah, you should be nice in the GOP, like in every other part of the game. Does this really need a thread of it's own :P? For me it's of course so that you should always be nice to those who deserves it!

That's exactly what I was thinking... I have this far never done a quest precisly after it has been released, even if I have had the requirments for it. However, if there is a quest like this, and it will be released, I will log on and do it at once. If I don't have the requirments I will train and train until I have them and then do the quest. Because this sounds like the funniest quest ever!

Completly true. Because the moral of most RS players today is, as the thread started said, bleeped up. Completly bleeped up to be honest. This is very sad, but we can all make it a little better by not being one of those players, by blessing graves, helping new players and so on.

We don't even know how these new PvP worlds will look like or work yet, so it's very hard to speculate and discuss this. But I would guess that Jagex has got a very good plan for how they will stop RWTing on these new worlds. Otherwise they would never have said that they will release these new worlds, since Jagex rather has no PvP than PvP where RWTing can take place.

I don't think certain areas will be for certain sites or clans, because it will be very hard to always have enough people there to defend it. Also, even if the site or clan is able to it, because they're such a big site, there is still a rather big chance that they will be defeated when other clans go togheter to get the area back. A third reason is that it will get rather boring to stay at the same place all the time for those who are there to defend it. This could be soloved by switching defenders, but there is still a chance that it will get rather boring. So no, I don't think that there will be too many people that takes control of certain areas. But I'm no pking expert, so I might be wrong.

I think that banks and the GE will be safe and perhaps some other areas.

For me the GE has been nothing but a big help. I can train my skills while I wait for my offers to be completed which saves me a huge amount of time every time I need to buy or sell something. Also, merchanting is still possible, you just need to follow the prices of the different items more exactly now and you perhaps need a bit more skill now than you needed before. But you can still make hundreds, and even millions if you're good, by merchanting. So I think the GE is nothing but a great tool for buying and selling :)

I don't believe that 1 out of 4 british teens plays RS. I would say that 1 out of 6 is more likely or something like that.

Well, I think that Rs players are seen a little like nerds because they don't play WoW, but instead spend a lot of their time on a much smaller online game that they think nobody cares about.

I think the forums are good as they are now, but perhaps it will get better with this new forum? Myself I think it won't though, since it will be hard to find the suggestions with all the rants :P But you never know, it might work.

This pretty much explains everything when it comes to flaming. Why it is there and how it works. It is as simple as people who flame others are actually envious on the person that they do flame.

This is a real positive thread :). I can agree with you when you say that this has got RS from the more dark ages to the more light ones. This new annoucement of that there will be PvP worlds has for sure changed how a lot of people look on the game, and togheter with the release of the new, much better graphics, RS has become a much more attractive game for everyone. RS still has a few problems, but many big things that before made RS go deeper into the dark, has now been removed so that game will soon be fully out in the light. Thank you, Jagex!

I think firemaking is a rather fun skill to train myself, but I understand that if you go for 99 it gets rather boring quickly. I like training it though :)

I mulittask more now, since I'm most often on the forums at the same time as I play the game. Also, I take much more pictures in the game, for my blog here on TIF. Of course I have also got quite a lot of friends from here too who I often chat to in the game and have fun with.
