  1. I think it's sad that some people call some skill capes dirt. Every 99 is an awesome achievement and those who have reached this level in a skill has worked real hard for getting it. But some skills are harder to train than others, and therefore I think that those with level 99 Herblore or Construction should have more respect of other players than those who have 99 Fletching or 99 Firemaking. But still a 99 is a 99, and I think that all who have reached the max level in a skill should get loads of respect from others. Because a skill cape, whatever one it is, is still an evidence for that you have worked real hard in the game. A skill cape is never dirt.
  2. I think that junk trading is okay. The GE works rather well with the most of the items, but for some items it is indeed broken. And then junk trading is a neccessary thing for getting fair prices.
  3. I just completed my first trip to the avianies. Thanks to your great guide I managed to get a little more than 800k from my first trip, which is awesome. I don't know how much profit I made, but it was for sure quite a lot. A picture, feel free to add it to your guide :) : Swedishboy7's first trip to aviansies:
  4. Awesome guide :). I will go kill some of those now :D. The only real expensive thing here is the prayer potions...You need so many and those p pots aren't cheap. I'm happy that my prayer level is 70, because then I won't need that many.
  5. I'm currently trying to get my herblore level from level 50 to level 70. I don't know which the best way to do this in is. First my levels: In bank I have 5M coins which I'm willing to spend. I'm willing to make more if neccessary, but then tell me in what way I should make the money I need too. The only thing I'm not willing to do is to train farming. Thank you for reading :). Please help me :)
  6. Very, very nice :D. I'm myself training herblore now, and I think getting to level 70 is hard :P. Keep it on and good luck :D
  7. I'm much more excited now :D. I thought that getting to know more about this update would made me go cooler, but now I just can't wait even less for it to be released!
  8. One of my oldest posts. I made it in the topic "Most honourable hiscore skill" for 2 years ago.
  9. Yes, I really hope so too. If it isn't RS3 I will probably keep playing RS2.
  10. Yes, all of those numbers are higher on my computer than the requirment ones :D. And thank you for the guides, without them I would never have found out if I met them or not. I'm bad at tech stuff :P
  11. Lol, one of the best things I have seen on here :P . GL with whatever you do zman, in rl and in rs!
  12. Just read through the development diary. And I was like wow :o ! I knew that this would be a massive update, but not this massive. This is going to be one of the biggest updates RS has got since it got started. And the new graphics looks awesome. Great work, Jagex! =D> \ Can't wait for this update to be released. I look so much forward to playing RS in fullscreen :D
  13. That's also a way to do it, and I must admit that it's a very smart way too. I will try it out myself
  14. I was not certain whatever I should post this here or somewhere else, but since I think this topic is a discussion I choosed to post it here. However, if I did wrong when I posted it here, admins and mods should feel free to move this to it's appropriate place. Money and skills are two of the biggest things in the world of RuneScape. Most players tries to get money and have as high levels in the different skills as possible. Some prefer just to train some skills, for example skillers, who don't train combat, while other trains all of them. Some people care less about money, some care more about it. But all of us has some goal in the game which has with either, or both, of these things to do. It could be to have enough money for a santa or party hat, it coulde be to have enough for that barrows or rune armour and it could also be to reach 50 agility or 70 woodcutting. There are many different goals, often several for each player, but almost all the time (Except when it comes to quests) it's about either skilling or money. In this thread I will present two "tactics" which I have noticed in the game; The skilling for money and The money for skilling. I'm sure that the most of you know what I mean, but I will present them anyway for those who don't. Many times players say that they want to earn xp and money at the same time, for example by crafting runes and then selling them. This is the skilling for money tactic. It has the big advantage that you get xp as the same time as you earn money. But this tactic can't be used on every skill however, since you sometimes will need to buy the items necessary for getting the xp you need, as in construction. Also it mostly goes slower to achieve the level you want by using this one (Not always though). Sometimes you also hear about someone who "buys" a skill, for example prayer by buying a lot of bones, and therefore using the money for skilling tactic. This tactic is often used for those skills which would take a very long time to get xp in if you didn't buy the items or materials you needed, for example smithing and herblore. The big advantage with this is one is that it goes much faster getting those levels than with the other tactic, since you will get the items or materials you need faster. However, you will lose money on it. The higher level you go for, the more money it will cost you. Now, what's the discussion then? The reason to why I created this thread is because I would like to hear which one of these my fellow TIFfers thinks is the best one. Which one do you use? And for what skills? Why? Is it the best to skill for money or use money for skilling? Discuss.
  15. I think that it will adapt in some way. How I can't say, but I'm almost completly sure of that it will adapt in some way.
  16. Great finds. I haven't found any graphical updates myself yet, but I have seen that one with the magic carpets. Real strange that they change colour as soon as they lift from the ground :P
  17. Thank you for posting on my blog and the nice comments :). I always check out those people's blogs who posts on mine, so I checked out yours, as you have noticed. It's nice, but perhaps you should get it a little more organisized and add skills and bank pictures? But it's still a good blog and you have some nice goals. Good luck with your scaping!
  18. I don't think that they have been reduced. You're just having bad luck, keep trying and you will get more charms.
  19. Leveled to 31 herblore yesterday, updated the blog. Please post :)
  20. A rather nice blog and some very nice levels. Keep it going and good luck :)
  21. The link works fine for me, and seems to do for everyone else here. Perhaps there is something wrong with just your computer which blocks that movie from playing?
  22. Use a bunyip, they're real good :)
  23. You can of course do whatever you want in the game. But a smart thing would be to make some more money before you start skilling, since you won't come far on what you have now. Try killing monsters or fishing, that will give you a rather good profit with those levels.
  24. I would suggest that you take option one, since you will hit rather high with 87 strenght and your accuracy will be excellent with 99 attack.
