  1. Bone grinding X haven't ruined prayer, it has just made it a little easier. You still need to collect alot of ectoplasm (And going up and down those long stairs certainly takes a while) and get all the bones.
  2. I'm mostly a merchant and DIY skiller :P. I LOVE GOLD! But having high levels is also good, and I'm skilling quite a lot too. So perhaps I'm a mix between a skiller and a merchanter? I simply try to get the best out of the two worlds :)
  3. You're right in what you say here, but there is a lot of fun i the road to the goal aswell.
  4. Great old picture. Because it is old. And beautiful. And cool. Thank you for posting it again :)
  5. Me neither, and it actually affects rather few people. I mean, how many merchants with party hats these days? :P
  6. This makes you feel awesome to be a part of Tip.It :D
  7. It is hard to buy masks since they're rather rare and because they're rather expensive as well. Myself I might buy some later on, but not now. I don't find them that good. But that penguin one sure seems cool 8-)
  8. They are for sure overlooked! I know that there're very few people using them. Most times, I forget about them myself tbh. But when I'm in cw (Castle wars) or cw (Clan wars, lol, two cw, needed to explain) I usually try to use them while fighting an enemy who has almost the same level as me or higher.
  9. I don't see why it is a THAT bad idea, myself I would actually perhaps buy one of those things. As long as the shop only sells design items, I can't see how it would hurt the game in such a big way? It would make a lot of players have more fun. And that I find good.
  10. Well, it's okay money-maker, but it really does not differ that much if you solo it or go as a team in profit.
  11. All you guys who says that this guy has no proof: This guy has a very good proof. It's called "Logical Thinking". Think about it: When the PvP worlds are removed, BH won't have any function anymore. Perhaps they don't remove it, perhaps they do. This is just a theory, but you really don't have to flame him this much just because he speculates a bit.
  12. That would be awesome! Then I would finally get a use for these, which I collected when I trained prayer at the ectofuntus before: :P
  13. Well, maybe Jagex want it to be harder to earn money on merchanting them? I don't know too much about the rares market though.
  14. Jagex is working real hard now, that's for sure. Myself I find it very interesting to see how they will accomplish with these PvP worlds and of course the Halloween event.IRL I don't like Halloween too much, but in RS I love it. So keep the good work up, Jagex, and make this October a scary and thrilling month
  15. Mostly it is because that the PvP worlds will come soon.
  16. That sounds like a good idea. We could choose a special place and world where we could fight each other when the PvP worlds are released. It would become a Tip.It's war site :D. I would certainly go there sometimes and pwn (Or more likely, get pwned. I'm no good at PKing...But it is fun! at least sometimes, when you don't die too often :P)
  17. Yes, I can agree with that. The community have got worse since Jagex started doing this kind of stuff, but sure we have got a lot of good stuff from it too. For example all the new updates :)
  18. I think that the release of the PvP worlds will make RS generally a much more popular game, IF, and that's a big if, Jagex makes this new PvP system a good one. If they don't, it will become what most people on here call an "Ephic Fail".
  19. RS is much like what you say here for many people playing it. They haven't understood that you should play for fun. Sure, you don't need to do that all the time, but as often as you can, and certainly the majority of the time you should play because it's fun. IMO, otherwise you shouldn't play RuneScape.
  20. A very good theory, but you never know what Jagex plans. But it seems likely that something like this, where you have to defend Varrock from an evil enemy, in a quest is likely to come.
  21. A little memory, you say? Well, I have played RS for almost four years now, and I have quite a lot of RS memories. A good one is when I first started merchanting. I did it by travelling a lot between Karamja and Falador. I had found out that in Varrock a lot of people bought lobsters for high prices, while a lot of people at Karamja fishing place drop theirs or sold them at low prices. I collected, or bought, these lobsters in Karamja, took the boat back to Port Sarim when my inventory was full, and then banked them in Falador. If they were uncooked, I cooked them before I banked them (I gained quite a few of my first cooking levels this way :) ). When I had around 100 of the lobsters I sold them for a higher price in Varrock. This was the way I used to get my first 100k. A very happy little time, when I got some new friends (Those who I often sold or bought lobsters from). I miss old merchanting, but still the GE is a very good thing.
  22. Just train it another way, it's worth it. My own slayer level is 3, but I know that a high slayer level is very useful because I have friends who have a rather high slayer level. And that have helped them a lot in the game. Good luck with the training!
