From what i had got on this thread, you were directly building the statue in your POH after completing the one in the museum.

We know that lol, we want to know what the one in the house does :/ Get 30 more quick! :D You mean 870 more :P If completing the statue once gives you one of the 30 pieces needed for the POH replica, you need 900 total stones from skilling to complete the POH replica. No, you are getting it wrong. you no longer take the pieces to the museum. you are making your own statue in your POH so only need 30 pieces. You gained an extra free piece for completing the museum part.

Indeed, decimals would have lead to just as much confusion as the current system. However it would have stopped the need for all damage being x10 of what it was originally. But I think the main reason to do this was to differentiate between constitution and HP.

For all we know it actually may be. The engine may not be able to create decimals in the damage system which will show for the players, hence why for all this time they have been rounded down.

Well, this topic has got rather out of hand since last night. No point in clearing flame which is now out of the way, but any more flame between users here will not be tolerated, this is your one and only warning.

Where are people getting these absurd numbers from. To me it just looks as if you now have to repeat the building process for a second time inside your POH to complete your own statue. Then that statue may give some form of reward. Why you think you have to do it 30 times is beyond me as it has been said that you no longer do anything at the museum and build your own statue. I don't expect you to build it, then the museum man come, break it and give you another part of the statue.

Most people here are fine and support people disagreeing with Jagex if they do it in the correct way. But a sentence per line, multiple exclamation marks and not attempting to discuss or try things out are not the way to do it.

Report them if you see them again.

Do not expect the reward to be super powerful or high level as this mini-game or distraction is open to players of all levels. The most likely thing is that the reward scales in relation to either one or all of your skills.

You are reading it wrong. It was a battle over limited amounts of runes, meaning there were only a few runes in which they were fighting over. Is that the mage of who the statue is of? Or is he located somewhere around RS? Yes, but I was thinking possibly he found a solution or something? This is generally the only hint that we have at what might be unlocked with enough "diligent research", so it might be related to runes or something. My thoughts are that as it says 'solid construction' it will be either a building or an object you can equip. The link to runes suggests to me either magic related or rune-crafting related.

One of the crew i know is currently researching the varying amounts of exp per hit from different monsters. Not sure how far along it is. The other two are well known, except the damage reduction, but I think that just means more 0's (old system)

Or it could be to totally revamp the HP system without having to increase the skill level over 99. This way, they can for example have a potion raising your maximum Cons level to 120. This would mean you could still get damaged and your hit points go down to say 500, but you could then heal back up to 1200 without the use of another potion. It is kind of hard to explain, but imagine if brews pushed your maximum hp above, and then sharks could heal you to that hp for x minutes afterwards. They could add numerous objects doing this such as armour, weapons, spells etc.

Awesome! they just put a decimal after the regular str bonus. And don't complain that it takes 2k points to kill strykworms. If you don't have 2k points by 93 slayer, there really is something wrong, and you can't blame that on connection speed. You could just get a fire cape.

It is most likely a back engine upgrade which is why they need to shut down the servers instead of just restarting them. It probably deals with the information going to and from the servers. Don't expect anything larger than a normal update.

you heard wrong Indeed it was any bolts that you could enchant, it just so happened that dragon stone bolts were the easiest to come by and have a fairly high price. Gideon (I think it was you), you said that the world is not all happy families and it is a rough world outside the game so should be within. That is not true at all. In the outside world, people may banter and joke with each other, but anybody who has morals understands that at the end of the day, the world is fairly polite. You talk to a person in the street, they won't hit you, they will talk to you politely unless you do something wrong to them. The same should be in this game, people should have respect to other people. Anybody that doesn't imo can GTFO RS and rob an old lady or something.

Please remember not to name names here unless Jagex have done so publicly.

Have fun, explore. Don't try to do things you don't want as it will sour the experience. This game is not a race, it is meant for fun. If you just go straight into grinding, you will regret wasting the only chance you get after creating your account to truly be in a new world and explore the unknown.

Well The Falklands have their own government so in effect they rule themselves, they are just classed as a British island. A way of putting it is saying that they are an incredibly strong ally to the UK. to be honest the government system is one i don't fully understand, but I know they have a large amount of control over themselves. I see no problem if the population of an island wants to be declared part of another country, why they should not be allowed to do so. Also, I never said anybody should be Argentine, I'm confused as to what words I am supposed to have put in your mouth.

Ya i think they should release these account names to further shame the cheaters nah people like that just use it as a badge of honour. it's not a popularity competition being banned = a badge of honour? ya ummm i dont see how thats a badge of honor. no idea where ur thinking is coming from You wouldn't think getting an ASBO in the UK would be but it is. Immature people will flaunt their punishments around. Being named by Jagex would easily be used.

It is nice to see the view from an Argentine and I hope I have not come across too rash in what I have said above. Another reason I think stopping the islands from changing hands would be the physical process of doing so. All of the residents would have to either be forcibly removed from their homes, or suddenly be forced to live in a foreign country which would mean visas and citizenship etc if they wanted to stay in thier homes. (at least I think they would?). This in turn would probably get the attention of the wider media again putting support on them switching back to British hands.
