  1. When dragon squares were still the best shield in the game, and if i remember correctly the second most expensive item in the game, second only to the dragon chain, an item increasing the chance of it was a very good idea.

I'm not sure if you really have to pay for it. I'll chime in if you do have to pay for it. When I tried creating an account, I had to select a pay package. The lowest was around $34, the most expensive was $99.

I don't really fancy paying for Open Beta.
  4. I think Jagex are confident enough to ban anybody who wants to RWT before they get to the 4 month mark.

Please don't try to price manipulate. What happens will happen.
  6. They have no chance. As said a few pages ago, they are just a 'non-item'. Nobody actually wanted them, they were just used to get more wealth. They were only good for that because of the unpredictability of collecting them.
  7. If i see a critic dislike the film for a 'lack of plot' I will literally rage. It will happen thought unfortunately, even though it is so unbelievably obvious it is a film which is not supposed to have an incredible plot.
  8. I just did every other circle around the edge then enclosed the edges whenever it went close. After that it was simple.
  9. I think all Jagex membership has a base price. Any rise on that price is usually down to the amount it costs to sell it. Such as charges to phone companies to sell by text, or packaging for cards.
  10. I wouldn't be surprised if Jagex kept the eastern lands in their back pocket as a back-up update they can pull out in a slow year.
  11. I agree. The only reason 9/11 and the 'war on terror' is so well known is modern media. If the sort of media technology was around at the time of the Crusades, it would be the total opposite of what it is now. The crusades were an unashamed attack on everything non-christian, trying to impose its laws on the muslim world.
  12. I agree with Ezkaton. Firstly there really is no need. Secondly, he is right. The whole point would be so maturer, 18+ players could talk and use words currently censored. However, these mature 18+ players don't need to and don't swear. It is only immature youths who resort to swearing and needing the censor. So the update is not needed one bit is it? We can politely talk with the censor there, it really does not effect our gameplay. And even if it was introduced, we would have immature kids swearing all of the time (trust me), and we would end up having the filter on. So the total opposite of the design would happen. Immature kid would have no filter, mature people would have it on. see the reasoning there? It is un- needed.
  13. The tanks thing is true. He owns three. So he probably really does ride around in them for giggles.

Woohoo, finished at about 11pm. Had enough time for a quick read-through of both pieces of work then quickly printed them out, submitted them online and have now washed my hands of them for the night. As a reward to myself for doing them both, i am going to buy a hefty Mcdonalds meal tomorrow after handing them in. Double Big Mac, Large fries and a Large coke. <3: Now my next port of call is the 14th Feb when i get a week off University. Officially it is a 'Events week' where they have various academic events and random lectures, but none are compulsory, which means a week off in Danqazmlp's English. Time to do nothing for two weeks, wooo!
  15. I agree. Very few words that are censored are needed in adult conversations which you should be having in-game. Conducting yourself in a mature manner in the game should mean you rarely get effected by the censor unless you make a typo.
  16. 'It is probably true that nobody has come close so far as to guessing the new skill, but that's probably because it just hasn't been done before.' Means it must be something outside of the box. Very interesting.
  17. Well i'm now 350 words from finishing the 2000 word essay (they give a 10%+/- allowance so i'm doing 1800 words  ). Getting very tired of writing it however and running out of things to say. I'm planning on a very long conclusion, to try and babble on at the end. Aiming for 40% never felt so satisfying. I cannot wait until it is done, no more assessments due in in February and a trip to london and a week off half-way through, i cannot wait! Time to get back to writing...after one more thread...
  18. Usually the only clues come when Andrew does a Q&A. Usually that's because he basically has final say on what we as the users get to know of future content. Meaning even MMG has to be careful and reserved when answering, but Andrew can say what he pleases almost. (I think).
  19. You've hit the hammer on the head (with a nail). It always is like that. The skill is infering small details from the smaller parts of what they say.
  20. 1. My set of gold decorative CW armour. It may not be so rare nowdays, but when i first got it i was within the first 100 players. It always reminds me of the golden days of playing RS. Having a homeworld you could log into any time of day and know at least one person there and have a game of CW with them. It has so much sentimental value. 2. My yellow partyhat. It looks like a gold crown, that is basically the only reason for it. I would feel the same if it had cost me 100gp. It is also the symbol of my retirement from RS (retired the king yeah) 3. The 5 feathered gold chompy hat. The only other headgear in the game that is a crowning achievement next to the yellow fat.
  21. That is exactly my plan! 80 free credits cool beans! Surely they are only useful early on when buildings are cheap and you can build thick and fast. Later on, suely it will be the case that you will rarely have the resources to build more at once. I bring this from experience playing Travian, early in the game you cannot build, fast enough, but later on it is hard to build more than one thing per day. I'd prefer to have a slower start but have a 20%+ bonus later on when things become more critical.
  22. I personally think Jagex will do something totally the opposite to everything suggested. I think they have thrown a curveball. I can image something like 'remember the strange power a few weeks ago? well it was really those darned penguins collecting flowers near Varrock!'
  23. Barrows have incredibly low mage defence, equal lowest in runescape with Rex I believe. Graar actually has fairly high magic defence even though he is a brute force mellee NPC. I remember trying magic when GWD first came out, ice barrage splashed almost every hit.
