Actually this is about whether Dragon Med and the KBD are suitable for F2P. Other items are irrelevant unless used in comparison. This subject is not about whether F2P should get more content than that. Please remember, this is the Debate club not General discussion. It is for constructive debates, so if your post does not add anything, it should not be posted.

Just so you know, i moved the topic here, i think it will have a better audience in this forum.

Well it's been a while. Have not had much time on my hands for the last few months due to University so this Blog became very neglected. The work here in my first year is astounding. Unlike most other courses, my one has been laid out opposite to the others. Most courses have very little work at the beginning letting you transition into the course. However mine had so much work prior to Christmas, around 5 essays in a three week period. With this year having very little wok, while most others have it piling up. I have a 2000 word essay and a 750 word assignment to do for Friday, and after those nothing until March (or so I think). This is good and bad, bad because I will have a lot of free time while everybody else is in doing work, meaning I will actually have nothing to do. It will also mean however that the pieces of work around then will be very large. Well that is the gist of my Uni work at the moment. I'm very looking forward to February, not only do i get a week off (YAY), my dad also brought me and my family tickets to 'We will rock you' in London which should be good. He has been before and said it was something to see. Which also means a day out in the city. It's strange, you live your life near somewhere like London, yet never do anything the tourists would do. Time to be a Tourist. That's enough for the moment, i will now try to do an entry at least once every two days, however with two pieces of coursework due for Friday, i'm not promising anything.

Completed it tonight, and wow great ending (I want a pure sequel, not expansion) [hide] I ended up letting Alistair kill the archdemon as he seemed rather unhappy with me making him king. It was a shame i couldn't talk to wynn or leilana after the fight just to see some reactions. The final fight was very impressive. Very hard, it took me over half an hour. Not sure whether i want to try with another type of character or just leave it at that. [/hide]

Who is shale, i must have missed him/her. My main char is a human fighter/champ/berserker, with juggernaut armour he tanks like no end. Alistair also has incredibly strong armour so the two of them tank. I have wynne for healing as a must, with leliana ranging doing high damage and lock picking. If i'm going against a boss of some kind, i will usually take morrigan to use cone of cold for some freezing. That helped a massive amount while getting the juggernaut armour.

Can everybody please remember that suicide is a very serious topic, and that it can be very offensive to many people if others do not see it so. If people don't want to discuss it sensibly then they won't be allowed to discuss it. Thanks.

It isn't just America that gets these kinds of comments. It all stems from national identity, and finding reasons other nations are not as good as your own. Its rarely one way traffic either, i'm sure Americans do the same about some other nations. I would also say though, that your last President didn't help the stereotype from the rest of the world point of view.

I don't think you have given us the whole story. I doubt Jagex would do more than an e-mail with some information in it for one line. However, i would expect no less of them if somebody had said it numerous times. I would personally urge Tip.it admins to do the same if somebody here repeatedly mention self harm. I doubt Jagex would say 'Go see this guy now!!', it is more likely that they pass the information of what has been said to the police, then the police decide themselves how to handle it.

I really cannot wait for Edibles to crash. They are probably the worst by-product of the merchant system in the game at the moment. They are worth less than 10m, as shown by their stable prices for years, as they have very limited demand, and their only (and i really do mean only) demand at the moment is merchants attempting to get other items. In my studies, we have a term for places in which nobody really belongs and would call their home, called non places, where people only pass through or are there for limited amounts of time, such as an airport. I put the same kind of meaning into the Edible rare market. They are 'non items', nobody actually wants the item, just the artificial money value placed next to it. Because of this, they only pass through peoples possession, and are not kept as a permanent or semi-permanent item like the wearable rares. This leads to them being very risky if you are the one caught in possession of it when the inevitable crash comes. And because of this false value, when those who have what the needed the edible to trade with, have got it and no longer need to buy any more edibles, the merchant market will dry up, leaving some people hundreds of millions out of pocket.

I don't mind if this is released as an update. The amount of people who make videos is astounding, I feel this would be useful to more people than most mini-games end up being.

Good luck with recovering your account, make sure you have fixed whatever reason it was that your account got stolen in the first place. However I am going to lock this, as it really does not have much discussion value except 'Good luck''s.

Just a small note. Don't worry if you don't have a clue what you want to do even after you finish high/second. The best advice is to continue eduction in the fields you find most interesting for as long as possible and find careers using those. Currently i am at university studying History. Eventually i hope to become a teacher of it. My basic thought is that i want to teach 'something'. So as i am interested in history i am aiming to teach that. However, i have found that i am not overly good at history while being here, so i may turn to IT as a teaching career instead, but only time will tell. There is no rush.

Time to nag, or just DQ those not done yet.

I got this on Thursday, and WOW. I've gone with a human fighter, as i've done what i do in most RPG's, instead of creating a character, i try to put myself into the game. The start was nothing but epic, something i would expect in a LOTR film. The game is very fun, annoyingly time consuming as well. It's also incredibly hard (PC version). The troll at the top of the tower took me a few tries. However, the hardest part for me wasn't a boss, it was the basement part of radcliff castle. There is a room with about 8 dogs in it. Whatever i did i could not kill them, i had about 8 tries before giving up. I've only got up to the town on the right side of the map so far (done radcliff and the mages circle), but the one thing i've noticed so far which bugs me is the lack of new armour/weapons. I have had the same gear for large parts of the game, where in this early stage i would expect to be changing fairly swiftly. However, that is the only fault i can find.

A friend of Lala's did me a great deed a few months back, selling me a phat around 80-120m under street price, filling my final goal before quitting rs. I can't quite remember the name however.

I do but don't really notice it. I drop a lot of my letters as well, but i've recently tried to stop doing it so much, but trying to do so has given me a bit of a stutter strangely.

Soma, no offence, but I think you are generalising off your personal experience. By that, I mean that because you found it easy (and imo got lucky with not going below 30hp) you are trying to say that he is easy for everybody. When in fact, it seems he is very hard for almost everybody except you. Much like for example I found the summers end quest boss easy, most found it much harder, meaning that it was in fact hard and I either got lucky or am just good :smile: With maxed melee, high prayer and high herblore, you also had a large advantage over most. The thing people are trying to get you to think about is exactly what i have just stated, you got fairly lucky in what nomad hit, making it seem to you as if he was very easy, whereas, proved my massive numbers of people struggling, he is definitely not easy.

I agree on that reason for Yellow going up. Its the reason i brought one. Because of their colour, they look slightly like a gold crown. Is it one of the only rares with influence outside of merchants?

Soma, i think you need to realise the massive difference between flaming and friendly discussions. If I were to totally dismiss your opinion without having any explanation or reason and end ever sentence with loser then maybe it could be seen as flaming, but i certainly do not see it as that so far. If those people say Nomad is easy just to spite people, when in fact they found him hard, does it not further add to my point that statistically going by people he IS harder? Again i can turn that the other way around easily, there are many ways to increase your personal damage output, weapons, armour, prayer, potions etc. Whereas when taking massive damage, it takes more than just gear to survive.
