I thought the incentive was the trip, not the free membership. I certainly wouldn't miss a chance to go see the HQ. The membership does not interest me as I don't have time to play and still wouldn't even if I got it for free. I would probably feel strange there however, I think compared to the 'exotic' foreigners they seem to have invited over so far, seeing a kid turn up from just up the road would make them think they are getting robbed. I would hope they invite at least a few 'older' gamers this time. Not calling the others prior to this kids, but I think having some older visitors could give a new perspective to them.

Has the UK got any medals since the one in the skeleton/luge? (forgot which one it was in)

Does anybody want to fathom a guess as to the effect on the rares market the double exp weekend will have? I personally think a fair amount of people will sell off a rare or two to either invest in raws which will rise in the next two weeks, or to buy them for themselves at least.

I personally thought the graphics were very good. Especially for an RPG. Definitely the best looking RPG (group based) I have played. Doing a close-up over the shoulder while standing on the small island area in the dock of the town with the castle near the beginning looked great.

I would say natural hype + inflation. A natural price rise of a M which they cycle through every so often may have been picked up by more players than usual leading it to rise for an extra day or two. Thios in turn is seen by more players which keeps the price rising up until a stage we are at now where people are starting to sell them for-seeing a crash, which actually leads to the crash. I would guess this pulled masks up with it, as all 4 seems to correlate in prices. OR a clan is manipulating them.

I see. However, the 2.7x really does not last long. You will be at around 2x after roughly 3 hours, 1.5x after 5, and around 1.2 after 8 hours.

Having not looked at the lower rares market for a few months, i'm amazed at the prices of santas and masks. I never thought i would see reds go higher than the peak of 70m a few years back, which was only followed by a massive crash. And santas are also strangely priced. They had been fairly stable in the 15-30m price range for countless years, and i cannot see the current price being any more than a pre-curser to a crash. all items seem to have them naturally without manipulators sometimes.

Drive on the wrong side of the road? I would enter, but the chance of winning is like winning the lottery, and i'd much rather keep my luck for said lottery.

If anybody is like me, they will end up wasting half an hour of bonuses just trying to figure out what equipment to take, and realising you have forgotten a single item that is un-buyable on the g.e. Also if the graph is right, the curve shows exp decreasing rapidly after around 3 hours, and at around 6 hours you are at 1.1x. From my understanding, after 10 hours you return to regular exp am I right?

Items that currently multiply exp such as clay items won't work during the weekend so those are not recommended. I would say do whichever you like doing the least.

Am i the only one with a sneaky suspicion that they might release the new skill prior to this, so we can get it to a fair level close to release, and are not all having it -50 for a few weeks?

I wonder if in a bad enough situation, somebody could pull out one of their bones to use as a club. I don't know if I could even in the face of death, but it might work.

I think they are just trying to do different things instead of the regular events. More of a testing ground to see if they can give server-wide bonus exp.

Well re-bumping this as we only have another two weeks to wait, wooo. Frustratingly, I am working both Saturday and Sunday that weekend, so won't be able to watch live. I'm guessing that Mclaren will be one of the top runners as always, but you have to expect the unexpected at the opening GP. Obviously I will be rooting for Lotus, cannot ignore the pure history of the team.

Makes me wish I still had members. There are some skills I would love the chance to have double exp in. Hopefully it will go well so they do more during the summer.

Techno and bassy? Well two ones right off the bat would be pendulum or the prodigy, very obvious ones.

I'm not voting for any, but i will say that rain in runescape looked very cool in #2. Add that with a day/night cycle like we know Jagex could do and it would be fairly good.
