One of my first memories is of me at age 4 or 5 outside on my birthday on a hot sunny day with some farm toys. Had a load of tractors and animals.

Installed a few new extensions to chrome, they are quite nice. One of them gives a small thumbnail preview next to links when you do a google search. That has saved me a fair amount of time. I'm very surprised by the amount of people using IE. A few years ago they had over 90% of the browser market, but looking at this poll, they have under 5%. Although the numbers would be different on a mass scale, it is still a huge turn around. The rate of growth of Chrome is also very surprising.

The game is not all about efficiency, gp/xp or xp/h, it is about having fun. If you find making money and buying skills fun it is logical to do that, if you find getting your own raw materials and being self sufficient, doing that is logical. the situation will change from player to player so no universal way will be better for everybody.

There are only positive in-game effects of this update. Any other effects are opinionated so cannot reflect on Jagex having made them, but on the person having the opinion.

We won't really know anything until people complete the second week.

Exactly. The smallest change will get people complaining. The only reason there are so many complainers or this update is that everybody comes in contact with it. I think if Jagex did something as small as changing the colour of a tree it would get people complaining.

I had so many power rangers toys, I had like a 30cm red ranger, and a black ranger. Also had the zords (is that what they were called?) which joined together like so: I had some Ninja turtle things that could be moved from turtle form to humanoid ish form. I also had one of those shark things from in napalms post near the top of this page, but it was the muscly one which came in a cage and had glow in the dark teeth. Masses of lego too. I think i still have two huge toy boxes in my loft, may have to go have a child day.

The issue came up in a thread shortly after the switch over too, but that would be a lot of pages back. I think it was answered there.

Is it an easy game to get into without playing the other two?

I agree that people will complain whatever the reward is, which is why I urge people to keep an open mind on it as it could be literally anything. Can the statue plinth be moved? If not, I wonder if the full statue would be, as it would then stop people from wanting to remove their study to either move or re-do their POH.

I think that is one of the problems with buying it on a console and not PC. With a PC, it is much easier to quick save seconds before a battle and try different strategies and micromanage your party.

I think it will need manually changing by an Admin. When the forums were converted, I think that section was left out of the profiles but what people had in it was still carried over.

Well knowing him, it isn't a new view or a new idea. He has said this kind of thing countless times in the past and i'm surprised it has made the news. It must be a slow news day for CNN. He is one of the most anti-West leaders in the world, he has very extreme views on corruption of the American presidency and its leaders. It really isn't anything new from him.

I wouldn't either. Surely all together the exp will be over 1M for those with skills above 70, surely that should be worth it? Again if people don't like getting the stones, the simple idea is to not get them.

I agree that the mug looks pretty good. And the art on the mouse mats are good too. I noticed while looking through the store that the 99 hit shirt is now defunct though :rolleyes:

KQ is still an incredibly hard boss. All of her attacks can hit 30's, and she uses all three attack styles. Because of this, it is best to use mellee armour which is strong against range and mellee while using magic protect prayer. You also have to mellee her first form, then range or mage her second form (or use verac's).

So has anybody done a second statue yet?

Ok, here is my pictorial explanation of how the new HP system works and will work for future items (using my extreme paint skills) Ok, here is how the old HP system would work. On the left is the regular HP. Then, to the right you user has drank a HP increasing item, increasing their HP level to 14, which in turn makes their HP 14. They then get hit for 6, lowering their HP level down to 8, and their HP to 8. They then try to heal up by eating a shark. Because of the way the HP system worked, they cannot heal past their original HP level of 10. [hide][/hide] However, this is how the new system works. The players Constitution level is 99, so they have 990HP (i use HP instead of LP, but they are the same thing). They drink a stat increasing potion which increases their constitution level to 120. This in turn increases their HP to 1200. they then proceed to get hit for 324 bringing their HP to below the original amount, but dos not lower the Constitution level. They then eat a shark, healing them by 200. Because of the new system, they can heal their HP above its original amount because the constitution level is not directly the HP any more. [hide][/hide] I hope that clears some things up, even with the bad pictures.

It seems a lot of people do not understand it, so I am going to take some time to explain it. (Time to introduce the bad pain skills) I will edit this when my guide on how it works is done as it will take some time (but it is coming)

For those with 99 in these skills it's just plain annoying if we want the final reward. And these bonuses really aren't that great at all at higher levels. Getting 9703 xp at 99 is pathetic, but getting a few k at mid 70 is alright I guess. Well if you want something you have to work for it. If you enjoy the distraction then the reward will not matter. I see no reason for anybody to not like the length of the distraction.

That also confused me. That is one thing that is un-needed from the update. They are still hit points, so why confuse people and change the name to life points.

Surely the exp is a good enough reward? I'm quite happy it is a very long process in completing the statue, it means it is actually an achievement.
