I think i underestimated how tedius 4k ish giant kills would be, only killed around 100 today so far and i'm getting a bit woozy haha, but i will get my 100 gold charms before the end of the day.

Isn't the main point of a bunyip to reduce the food costs during slaying? Right now titan's constiturion scrolls cost 330gp at minimum, for 8hp, thats pathetically expensive, not including the price of the scrolls. You may aswell use bones to peaches for around the same price (probably less) and more healing power as you'd e able to get the 8hp per kill not every so-often. Say you spend 40 mins on a slayer task, 1,191gp for 320 hp of healing, whereas it would cost you 13.2k if you wanted the same healign from a titan over the task. Add an EE in with the bunyip, and you have even more healing, and you get the def boost mixed in, making the titan pointless.

One thing i wouldn't mind experimenting with and trying out, is which is faster, running out of energy, resting and running again, or running out of energy and walking while it restores. Wouldn't be bad to find out which one will get you from A to B faster.

As far as i know, you would need 7 hammers.

So i've just read through all 17 pages of this thread, as i was at work when the main bugs appeared. Firstly, i don't see how Jagex's QA guys missed the running and eating bug, do they not try everyday tasks when testing future updates or something? Secondly, you can't blame jagex for the second string of bugs after the rushed fix for the first, with a game like Runescape that has masses of code, something will usually happen when you change something else, however, i am usually a big supporter of Jagex, but i'm personally appauled at their handling of the situation. There would have been minimal, if any conseququences of taking the game offline for a few mins and getting a new fix up, or doing a rollback, as from whats been said, very little regular tasks could be done as usual. It seems to me that Jagex are currently scared of taking the game offline shortly, or doing any kind of rollback, they really need to learn to do these kinds of things to gain a bit of respect.

I don't think we'll be traveling in space, but I think it'll be centred all on one planet, with varying 'small' areas that aren't attached to the planet, but aren't attach to any other planet either. But then again who knows, maybe we'll have hyperdrive and lightspeed. Yeah, its a very annoying quibble with the ranged/magic familiars, they will only attack if your directly getting hit, which is pointless reallky because when training range or mage with combat, you mainly won't be getting hit.

I actually thought that final was pretty boring considering it was the final, watched the whole series, but couldn't find the effort to watch the whole final, it really wasn't a great task, something more suited to the first few weeks of the series, ended up fast forwarding to the end of the program to see who won.

I'm in and been in the exact same situation. After getting 99 def and att, i was left with 87 str to try and level up through slayer. Personally, i brought a SS and have used it for 4 levels, it may be expensive, but imo its worth it. you will still probably need an EE on a few slay tasks, but not a whole lot more than with a shield seeing as you have 99 def.

Its almost guarenteed to be a hit, and even that ad made me laugh quite a bit. Hell, even just looking at some of the char's makes me laugh.

If you arent cannoning, i'd say you MUST do them in the CT. It's incredibly bad to melee them in the ligthouse, the kills will be slower due to less of them and crowded-ness (is that even a word?), you make less money, you get less charm drops, the task will take longer. Wear prayer/melee gear, i usually wear prossy top and bottom, then try maximising my str/att bonuses after that, because theres no need for extra prayer bonus on top of prossy. Take 10 prayer potions (you will use around 5, but its better safe than sorry?) Alchs, and a few pure sets. Use ranged def prayer, and 10% str prayer. Bring a fighting familiar or two aswell, this is a place that they really can help. Pick up fremmy blades, freammy shields, fremmy helms, and alch them, pick up and sell circular hides, spined boots and the high value fremmy helms (zerker, warrior etc) on the g.e. Thats pretty much it.

Do they drop anything good, i've never hunted revs before. And musky, it shouldn't matter if somebody is well known or not, people are still people wether you know them or not, crashing is still crashing wether you know the person you crash or not.

No. Post count here doesen't matter when getting crashed, those guys probably would have crashed anybody, known or unknown.

And that was with playing 5+ games most days.

A few things: Paragraphs, they make posts much more appealing. 'and as u can see the players of RS decreased by...idk...50%?' Fake statistics are annoying, and thats not even a real-sounding fake I've never had anybody in my 4-5 year time playing rs had anybody ask to show them the nearest furnace for 10gp. RWT was a very real problem, jsut because you personally didn't buy gold, doesen't mean others didn't, and they did en masse, not only was this cheating and against the rules, it was an immoral way to play an MMO. Jagex don't set the g.e prices, just the price caps, potions being less than the ingredients is because as time has gone on, more and more people can make potions, and want to power level, thus leaving us with so many more potions and other refined raw materials than the demand is, meaning it costs more to make an item than to plain out buy it.

Tried maging metals, not the best exp, but quite cheap and very easily afkable. Could also speed it up alot by using Sc hats.
