  1. I hate how you guys get it so much sooner than we do over here. Only on episode 13 right now, had to scroll right down to the bottom quickly to make sure I didn't get any spoilers. I guess i'll see you all in 7 weeks when we catch up at the end of the season

You wouldn't think it would have much impact, but a lot of economy is based on confidence, and this event will give a great confidence boost to the Economy. However, it will also give a much larger physical boost too. This Suggests the wedding will bring in a total of around £620 million into the British Economy, while another article (Don't have the link on me right now) estimated the cost being around the £100 million mark overall, but some going as low as £30 million for the cost. Quite a nice profit there. It isn't a small figure, especially for Britain.
  3. University> Runescape. You have taken almost the exact same route as me, Selling up and buying a rare, for almost the same price too.
  4. I would join if I had any sort of artistic talent.
  5. This is real bad. It may be over the top, but I would suggest anybody who has registered credit card details with them to phone the bank for a new card. It's usually quite quick and simple. It's unfortunate that pirates are currently thought to be the reason for this. Link Sony will get some bad publicity for this but I highly doubt it is their fault at all.
  6. I would love something like that, but I have a feeling it would be a lot of work and would need a lot of decisions such as how long to keep images saved for, image limits etc.

Wrong. Thee is no legal requirement for business' to give employees the day off or to stop trading. They themselves are allowed to choose whether to let their employees have the day off, watch the wedding or have a normal day of trading. and I know for a fact that the majority of businesses are. A lot of trade is going to be needlessly lost. Can you quote me the statistics of this fact? From my own knowledge (Of working myself and having two parents and a brother who work) 3/4 of business's are actually staying open. My Mum would probably be at work as well if she didn't already have Fridays off. I know of very few business' which are closing. Granted, many schools and universities are closing for the day, but that doesn't harm the economy to a large extent, and may even be beneficial due to many children pumping money in during the day. Not counting the money the major TV companies are getting for broadcasting around the world as well as the many tourists coming in for the day, as well as the numerous souvenirs sold by most shops, there has been a very large boost to the economy.
  8. I tried running, and got ok at it. Basically when you start, press both O and W, then both P and W, done at the right time the guy starts to run. It's all a matter of getting the timing right after that, but it often ends up with you flat on your face after getting your trailing let stuck.

How can you afford them both at 19?
  10. Welcome all! Looks like we should hit 200,000 user accounts in a few weeks.

  12. The name sounds familiar but I'm bad with names and I was never the most recognisable of posters more than 2-3 years ago. Various things disrupted world 99 Edgeville. One of the largest from what I saw was the G.e. Many people would idle in Edgeville while trading on the forums or chatting. The G.e replaced a lot of that.

I'm not saying you should care, I'm saying that even though you don't, other people do. The Royal family may not have any active roles, but they do have constitutional power. They are as much of a safety net for the country as the government is a safety net for a power hungry royal. If they were opposed enough, they could declare war, declare peace, get rid of government etc. They do have power. constitutionally, as king (Or queen currently), they are the leader of the country and have final say on anything concerning the country as a whole.

It would be nice if you could do so without basically insulting anybody who cares about the wedding. It is a large social event for the country bringing in millions of pounds for the economy, there are lots of reasons to care. For me, as I have said, being a student involved in heritage, I find it very interesting as they are a living link to the past unlike the stone links to the past i usually see. I also see them as a very important part of this countries history which shaped not only shaped itself, but the whole world into what it is today. For me, I am going to my girlfriends flat and watching it with her flatmates who are having a bit of a 'posh' day, drinking Pimms and eating cucumber sandwiches. Prince William will evenetually become the Head of State, although with limited power, he will have a very high status and role within the country. He could have a very large impact on the future of not just this country but many around the world, the same for Kate Middleton. For other people there will be other reasons to be interested, for example the Wedding dress and clothes of many attendees will be be in the spotlight, as well as the guests themselves.

Don't make me laugh. You seriously believe the Prince was up on the front lines? He was surrounded by more guards than the Presidental Secret Service, in a warzone that has not seen combat since 2001. Please use this vast resource of the internet you have available as it is a fact there has been a lot of combat in Afhganistan since activity started there. It is currently one of the most hostile areas on the planet. Considering his placement there was unknown, his 'protection' was limited, if there at all. He served as any regular soldier would have done. They have the titles they have for the same reasons America Celebrates major figures in its past such as MLK, Washington and others. They are part of the heritage of the country, just like the Royals are. These leaders were no more unpopular than modern day leaders. Now the systems may seem outdated, but at the time it was all that was available and worked well with the technology available. They are the closest link to our heritage we have with a living breathing link. I for one am proud to be part of a country that can appreciate it's past and not just throw it away because it is apparently outdated, even considering it makes millions of pounds per year for the country. Where the hell did that come from? Please tell me how you make a link between somebody not caring about this wedding and caring about their friends more than somebody caring about it and not caring about anybody else? That just wreaks of trolling. Neither side has any less or any more moralistic or ethical ideas, so saying that is just absurd and downright insulting.

When he was a teenager? Yes I do. I also dressed in a scream outfit at the same age, a friend of mine has dressed as a centurion. It's really bad to go outside in costume these days. Remember when he went to Afghanistan to serve with the British Army putting his life on the line?

That's a fairly ridiculous statement to make, unless you've been secretely recording us and know what we all do with our lives. I mean for one I know at least two fully qualified doctors on TIF - they also save lives, don't they? It's also an assumption that ignores the fact that most people on these boards have a comparable lack of opportunity. Your signature has a point to it, but creativity doesn't buy the finest tuition in the land, or the wealth to realise the subsequent potential. I was sure I typed 'most people' and not 'anybody', that was a mistake. Most people on these forums it is safe to say are not of working age or only do service jobs (me included). There may be the exception that do jobs which can be classed as having a large impact, such as being in the police, but for the majority, they are much more 'useless' than the two people getting married. People claiming they are useless and do nothing have done no research and could find out that it is not the case with minimal effort. I agree that money can get you places in life, but if you truly try you can achieve as much if not more than those with money in a lot of situations. A lack of effort, inventiveness and initiative in many people's problem.

Its more like poetic justice than actual wrong-doing (Just of the recent monarchs, mind you). The fact that there's still some Hapsburgs and royal families from the feudal ages still in title and some in power, just makes me upset. Centuries of oppression and now they're a show act. Its only a show act because people don't know history: the tyrants, the struggle, and the freedom they take for granted today. You cannot judge people on the actions of people hundreds of years before so lightly. You may call them tyrants, but at the time it was the only system that worked with the technology that was at hand. The Royal family, and most Royal families with histories are part of the tradition of countries and part of the story which created their country today. For Britain the Royal family is part of the story of how it gained indipendance from Catholocism, the struggle and balance between parliament, people and royalty, the story of great empires and epic battles. They are part of the countries National Identity, one of the few remaining links we have to the formation of our country, and many other countries around the world. Being somebody involved with heritage, the saving of buildings/structures which represent our history and uniqueness as a country, I am very interested in the Royal family as part of our heritage. Prince William himself probably (I am making an assumption here, but i'm fairly sure it's true) Has done more good in his life than anybody on these boards. This is mainly due to his work saving lives as a Royal Air force Search and Rescue co-pilot.

I don't get all the hate for the royal family. They do much more good than bad, and a lot more good than a good chunk of the worlds population too. That's before you count the money they bring into the British economy. I'll be watching it.
  20. Now for the rest of varrock, starting with the West bank.
  21. Closing this as it isn't a scam.
  22. Yep I do. I have it linked to an unknown E-mail which Isn't affiliated with any other things. Makes it much easier to recover your account as well as see when others try to recover your account as messages are sent to your e-mail upon request of pass recovery or changes to your account.
  23. I would help you but as you have 8 years worth of notes on the lore, I think everything conceivable will already be covered, it's just a matter of writing it. How many files of notes do you have exactly or is it all in the one?
  24. Do a full virus scan of your computer to make sure you don't have a keylogger. Then reset your password and recoveries. Set a bank pin and then keep an eye on your account for a few days if they try to do it again.

I have read that it may also be used for live streaming of any game you play through the console. Which would basically mean playing a console quality game on a handheld.
