If you consider how certain weapons are held, it's not so crazy. Spears are held upright naturally because of where the weight is focused, so it makes sense for them to be sticking straight up...which is still in the confines of their 'square'. It is a completely reasonable theory. Old Dragon longswords were long though. The new ones are about 2/3 the size which makes them look much too short.

Not always. I have a friend who accidentally ate a sausage at a BBQ (was given a real sausage instead of a veggie one accidental) and threw it up. It was only after that she found out it was a real one. her body had never eaten any sort of meat so it threw it back out.

The problem Imo with the current scimitar is that it looks too much like the Dragon longsword. It is too short and doesn't have much of a curve to it. B definitely looks the most scimitar like to me.

Is that true or very clever advertising? If its true I may go and buy some things I will never use.

I too watched the program and it was very good. The different techniques did work. However, I think they would be less effective with pupils of an older age, such as in years 10 and 11. I myself have too gone through school and on to university, but when I look back I can appreciate what school did. Schooling isn't about making every pupil in the country a genius. The country would break if that were to happen. Its job is to get everybody up to a standard at which they can then springboard into their own route, whether it be further education or straight into jobs. I will admit that often many pupils do not get to that standard, but the blame cannot be wholly aimed a the schools. This topic is much to broad to put into writing, but the factors include home life, parenting in early life and pre schools. The problem with the program however is the TV cameras. The pupils were not themselves. If they had gone back a year later and seen the results, I would expect them to be different. The pupils would not have acted out, sworn, been as grumpy as they would have been if the cameras had not been on them and the results going on television. I personally beleive that as with the program, learning needs different ways to engage pupils, but we do also need much much much more ability for teachers to punish pupils. Currently they have no power over shouting, which after a certain age does nothing. Without proper parenting and respect being taught at home, the only fall-back is at school, which now also cannot happen. This throws people out into the world after school who do not know how to respect others, do not know how to live in society with others and work. Edit: On the handwriting, it is the only way currently for schools to go. During examinations/coursework, schools cannot possibly afford laptops and software which enables pupils to do work but nothing else (such as going on other programs during an exam). They need pupils to write exams as the only cost effective way. This then needs good handwriting for it to be legible for whoever marks it.

I lost in the end. He wasn't using charges directly, he actually used "Smite "Danicus!"" which actually worked very well. It didn't help that the two times I attempted to heal it healed him too.

In short I think David would have been better. He has charisma and seems more human to me. He is ready to joke and be a friend to the people. Ed seems much too nervous in the spotlight and in my opinion, if David stays in politics I will always feel that Ed is just a puppet with David being the puppet master behind him. Ed does not have the charisma which will lead the party and the country. Oh what could have been.

That looked like a great grandstand to be in. Did it shake when the cars go under? I've only ever been to one race which was the British GP in 05 (or was it 06?) but didn't even have a grandstand ticket. They are so expensive. My parents went the year after with grandstand tickets though. What I am really jealous of though is that they are going to the Malaysian GP next year, definitely one of the best tracks in the Asian calendar. But the best thing about going is just hearing how loud the cars are for the first time. You don't realise just how much they silence the cars on the television. It is almost deafening when they go past. In other motorsport news though my tickets just came through for the final race of the season of the British Touring cars. Brands hatch in two weeks time on the directors terrace :thumbsup:

Can I come in and just say that I got my yellow partyhat because it was the closest thing to a gold crown in the game when I got it? And to be honest, it still is as the Crowns actually look pretty pathetic imo. I got mine as it felt as thought it was the final achievement, to get the crown which I had sought after since I first started playing. Looking like a king is just something very cool. There are players who want them due to them being aesthetically rare. Much like those players who wear quest-specific items that are rare. They are used to finish outfits which could not be done without them. The monetary value on them does not matter to certain people. When a minority of the skills in this game actually involve combat, there can be an argument for buying any item no matter what the stats of it.

I think there is grand master. I also heard of a cardinal rank too.

So jealous. Would have loved to have gone there. Why oh why did they not pull the lotus into the pit when it was on fire? He was heading straight in there then it looked as if the team told him not to. That fire was actually really big before he got out. a few more seconds and he really could have been on fire. Kubica did have a great race again I agree. After the puncture put him back into 12th (I think) he really just put his foot down and romped past everybody to get his places back. Where were you topham? Were you around the grandstand which the track doubles back under?

I believe the agreement was not to use any accumulator charges, ie. you can heal or punish only once per battle, unless you gain enough godpower to naturally use the command again. It was one heal/punish per fight. I lost internet access last Thursday, come back and ELITES are ranked #9 :thumbsup:

Pets Your hero is finally mature enough to start being responsible for someone. No, no, he is not going to marry, at least not now. But it's very likely that he'll get some company soon. Maybe he will get a pet from a local pet store or tame some abandoned monster or even a hero. Pets can be very useful in heroic undertakings. On a side note, heroes need to take care of their pets, otherwise pets can leave or even die. Agreed. Been a long time since I have seen any dinosaurs in a game, it always seems to be zombies or aliens at the moment.

I like McDonalds. Last year I had a habbit of 'treating' myself to a meal there on the way home after handing in any assignment or doing any exam. Usually I would have 2 Big Mac's and 2 fries to myself. I actually really like big Mac's. I can't really compare it to burger king as they don't have any around here. But in reality, KFC > all fast food.

Any more suggestions around before I take these to the rest of the team?
