Near the ruins of Uzer, there is a small patch of green with tropical trees and flowers. One of them being orchids. When examined, it says that they are only found in jungle regions. Last time I checked Al karid wasn't in the jungle..

I tried that once, the highest combat you can get is level 5. After level 5 combat it doesn't give you xp anymore.

This would be detrimental to new players who wouldn't know how to respond. I've come across level 3's who, despite tutorial island, didn't know how to send PMs or add people to their friends list. Anyone can be mistaken as autoers. I've even been accused of autoing in the miner's guild, simply because I wasn't paying attention and clicked on empty rocks.

Have you ever wondered how many people you know through runescape? If you connected your friends list to your buddies, and he connected his with his friend's, and so on and so forthÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ãâæ. How many friends would it take before the chain leads back to you? For my list, I have about 15 clan members and also friends whom I know in real life. IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢m sure if I tracked down ALL the people IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve added over the year IÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢ve been playing rs, the number would reach in the millions (including other people's friends list). Any thoughts on this? ItÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s interesting how a simple thing like chatting to friends can play a HUGE role in carrying information across the web.

Merchanting can be educational. Learning how supply and demand changes, and finding customers takes skill. The burthope games room is also takes some skill to beat your opponent. But Runescape has some negative factors. Most kids play for long periods of time, usually more than one hour. (I'm guilty of this) Repeatively clicking a mouse button for hours is not going to make you smarter. The less time you spend playing games, the more time you have to do other things. Like read, or go outside. Find something that interests you! Staring at a pixelated waterfall is not my idea of fun. I'd spend my time making my OWN waterfall. Drawing can be a great stress reliever, and it much more satisfying than playing a video game. Another thing, is you actually HAVE something to show for your work. You can show it to people and proudly say that this is MY WORK, whereas with runescape all you have is a number next to your name. Thats the how I feel anyway.

In the wizards tower there is a statue of what appears to be a pheonix bird. For anyone who has done the golem quest, you know you must visit the desert pheonix and take one of its feathers. But why would the wizards tower have one of these statues? And why does the W.O.M. have a statue of a cat? Perhaps they are gods of some kind?

It seems to me that the US knew civil war would break out in Iraq the day they took Saddam out of power. They are waiting to see how long it takes before militants destroy Iraq and its people are forced to let the US takeover everything. And I'm not just talking about oil. There is alot of disapproval of Bush here in America, so don't think that we are safe from another civil war either. It could happen here right on our own turf! The country is torn apart, leaving whoever is the strongest to bring back order and stability. This is directed to EVERYONE: Let's curb the insults and have a real discussion here... It does not matter if someone is right or wrong. If they want to contribute constructively I say let them speak. So if you can't disprove what they've said, I suggest you leave it alone and offer your viewpoints.

Another thing I would like to point out: If you look in the W.O.M. telescope it is pointed towards a symbol of an eye on the wizards tower. I think the eye may be a clue that W.O.M. has something to do with the desert. It looks alot like the Egyptian eye of horus. (aka the "solar eye") There is a myth about the sun god Horus and his enemy Set (the sun eating god of darkness) in which a cosmic battle takes place. Much like the god wars between saradomin and zamorak. Another interesting bit, Ichtlarin, the Devourer, Armadyl, and Zaros all have Egyptian counterparts.

Today I just got alerted by McAffee that my computer has a trojan virus. I am extremely careful not to download ANYTHING unless I'm absolutely sure it's safe. I was searching for a song on a legal music download website. I didn't find what I was looking for so I left. Without downloading anything... Mcaffee won't delete it or quarantine the infected file. Is all hope lost? I feel like such an idiot... :?

I know that. But consider this: Our idea of the world is built on what we have experienced in our lives. We define reality by what WE see, hear, touch, taste, and smell. Take away all those senses, and what do we have to rely on? Ideas maybe, theories, hypothesis... Too often what happens when someone offers ideas that don't match our own. Our mind tells us: "I don't want to think about that. No thats absurd. Not going to listen." I can't tell you what to believe. But I can tell you, with a little effort you can start to see things differently too. I've experienced so many strange and ineresting things, which is why I continue to believe.

I sprained my ankle a couple days ago. I put ice on it, which didn't help much because I waited a few hours beforehand. Elevation works, if you've got an extra chair (folding kind) The swelling is caused by broken blood vessels leaking fluid into surrounding tissue. Also try not to walk on it if you can, EVEN if it doesn't hurt because your ankle is still healing. It's been four days. I'm wondering if I should go to my karate class tonight.

I don't think there is a single person who's in favor of abortion. I also don't think that government or anybody else for that matter can tell you what you CAN and CANNOT DO with your body. Religious morals + Gov't Legislation = Bad News... Even if the majority of Americans were anti abortion, does it make it right to say people shouldn't do it? I understand how people get all hung up on whether its murder. How old does it have to be till it's considered a human being? A fetus, a zygote, an egg? Did you know that every day, trillions of spermatozoa babies heads are crushed when they hit the wall of a condom? If you are against abortion, then don't have one.

Like alot of newer players, I too was jealous of people wearing santas and phats. A few months ago I bought a blue mask. And ever since then, I've been able to appreciate how much hard work it takes to afford rares. I don't approve of greedy merchants who cause the price of rares to go up every week. But I know there really is no solution to that, other than to make them untradeble.

I really don't know why you need a group. There are some people who claim it works by yourself, but be careful. It is considered bad luck to use the board by yourself. For those who say it isn't real. Ouiji, and many other occult things rely on the will of the individual or group. If you don't believe in contacting spirits, then nothing is going to happen (or at least not in the way you expected)..
