Someone I once knew could control other people's minds. One occasion he was mugged outside his apartment. He didn't try to stop the thief, instead he was very calm and considerate to him. What's amazing is that a couple weeks later the mugger came back to his apartment and then apologized, giving him his wallet back. A simple act of kindness can have a profound effect on people. Runescape depends on its good players to help stop scammers and macroers that ruined the game in the first place. If you put all the scammers together, they will just make problems even worse for newcommers.

The thing I don't like about the "rune buying method" is selling them on world 2 in bulk. It seems like every time I log on, I spend +2hours just to get rid of the darned things... Can you include in your guide how to sell runes fast?

I know runescape seems fun now, but eventually you are going to want to do something else with your life than just playing online games. If life is a game, I would rather be playing the real thing than some virtual reality where my choices don't matter. True, we will all die at some point. But part of life is sharing your knowledge and experiences with the people around you. Not sitting in your room clicking away at pixels. Frizoid, you've been proven wrong by other p mods in previous threads. Reporting macros DOES make a difference, and it is helping jagex stop the autoers. They don't always ban them immediately. They do it all in one sweep, like the massive banning they've done before. I don't see why you continue to spread these rumors, unless you have a reason to do so. You won't stop me from reporting autoers.

I reported over 20 tonight. We may not be able to stop the autoing, but we can get jagex' attention with every one of our reports. Our efforts will not be in vain, if we don't give up on reporting them. We can't let the gold farmers ruin the game that we have spent so much time playing and being entertained over the years. We can't stand by and watch RS fall victim to macroers, like so many other games. Scapers unite!!!

No game is safe from the gold farmers. I'm against macroing as much as the next player, but at the same time I feel sorry for the people working in these factories who are basically treated as slaves. Smooth criminal said it best.

For meelee pures: a great monster to train on is the level 17 zombie in edgeville dungeon. They hit low, they have fairly high hp, and it's rarely ever crowded there. I need some advice. Should I just train strength or should I try and get his attack up to 60?

Just yesterday I ran into a clan member who was doing the Troll Stronghold quest. He PMd me telling me he died and that his stuff was lying on the ground at the troll general's lair. He lost a berzerker helm, glory, potions, and a few lobster. He wanted me to keep the glory, but I gave him back everything anyway. Money is temporary. You don't have to give things back to people, but it feels good to do so.

It's a common scam. People try and sell bad or unfermented wines for millions of gp. When in actuality they are worth 0gp. Now half wines are a different story. Half wines sell for hundreds of millions of gp.

Joe Schmoe mentioned something about a combat or total level requirement to enter the new ess mines. Couldn't scripters get around this? How hard would it be to create a script that makes the server think you have a total level of 1400 when it's actually 30?

This would be difficult for foreign players who speak English as a second language. I like the "mystery box" idea though.
