Considering how diverse our galaxy is... And considering that there are about 10 billion solar systems in our galaxy-- and 10 billion galaxies in the known universe, it would be crazy not to think there would be other life supporting planets out there.

I agree with Harrington. Look at the direction the light is coming from on the wall to the right. If it were coming from outside the window, you wouldn't be able to see the wall.

I think it's great that English speakers are visiting the German servers. It gives a chance for German speakers to practice their English, and for the rest of us to learn German.

My all time favorite was Earnest the Chicken. (my first quest) I also liked Demon Slayer and Rune Mysteries. Demon Slayer because at the time I thought that silverlight was the coolest item in the game. Rune mysteries was special to me because my best friend helped me through it. I should mention I've done all the quests since December of 06.

Here's a thought.. If you don't like the recent updates, send in your own suggestions. Jagex DOES listen to its players from time to time. Also; I like quests. I think they are fun, and they often reward you with clothing/accessories that make your character more unique. P.S. to the original poster: I had no idea what your title "is jagex over cooking runescape" meant until I opened the thread. I thought it had something to do with pies...

I've tried going vegetarian. I was ok for the first couple of days, but after a while I felt more tired than usual. Most likely due to an unbalanced diet. So now I just eat dairy foods and seafood. If I may add one piece of advice. Eat lots of raw food such as sprouts. Also avoid microwaved veggies (microwaved anything for that matter). For those of you who have trouble digesting raw food, cooking it over low heat just briefly will take care of this, without sacrificing its nutritional value. One More Thing Make sure you are eating foods of a similar group, so that your body's enzymes can absorb the nutrients.

Can someone verify this? I can't check for myself. @ Polnar. That logic doesn't seem right. You call runescape an achievement and at the same time belittle the programmers who are in it for the same reason. Those people aren't the macros you see chopping yews or fishing. The macroers you're thinking of eventually sell their resources for real life currency. Whereas the other kind are simple programmers.

If you're having problems finding a world, then you might be a low level. i.e. under combat 90. The current system of using PC channels on swiftswitch works fine.

The ring of lightning seems a bit too perfect. Perhaps if the artist added a few reflections to the base of the car and on the ground it would look more convincing.

I don't understand why people are getting angry over the macros. Yes they make it difficult to play the game fairly. But please, think of the big picture! If no one buys their gold in exchange for real currency, then the autoers will eventually leave. I don't really know of a way that Jagex could stop these transactions from happening. They can't legally spy on the gold sites. Does anybody have any ideas of how to put these autoers out of business? The only way I see it is to stop all unbalanced trades (drop trades, pk kills, player death, etc..)

I'd just like to add one more thing. I've had a personal encounter with a spirit. This happened when I was young, about 7 or 8 years old. It was at night and I had just gone to sleep, when I was woken up by a voice calling my name. It sounded a lot like my dad's voice, only when I turned around he wasn't there. I was starting to feel afraid, as I could still hear the voice even though I couldn't determine where it was coming from. Then I sat up and looked in front of me. I could see two figures at the foot of my bed. I remember their appearance very clearly. They had decayed looking faces with long hair, and wore white robes. They glowed white, very faintly but just enough to reflect off of the furniture in my room. Their faces were expressionless, with very little meat left on at all, almost skeletal. The one figure begins to speak. Saying my name again, and asking me to come with them. I felt like running, but I gained control of myself.. I asked them who they were, and what they wanted with me. No answer. Just stared at me like they didn't understand. I still thought I was dreaming.. So I tried to wake myself up, pinching my arm... Don't ask me why, but I felt a little relieved it wasn't a dream... I was afraid, but it felt special to have actually seen and communicated with a ghost. I decided this was enough time to stay here, so I ducked under the covers of my bed and planned to run out of the room. Then I sprinted down the hall and into my parents room. But while at the doorway I took one last look at the two ghosts. Thats the end of my story. After that experience I could never sleep the same again. Even now I get paranoid that someone is watching me from my bed. Its taken a long time for me to be able to tell this to another person. You can dismiss it as a case of lucid dreaming, or sleep walking... But I am convinced of what I saw.

@ Mercifull While it's true there are SOME charlatins and fake psychics, doesn't mean that everyone claiming to have psychic experiences are lying or delusional. It's good to be skeptical, but thats different than trying to prove EVERYTHING scientifically. It simply cannot be done. And one other thing... What kind of proof are you after from these people? Hiring professional ghost hunters or a scientist costs money. The truth is most people don't have the time nor desire to prove to you anything. It's like debating whether or not there is a god... Would you be willing to prove to someone why there aren't ghosts or spirits?

I've heard that crushing an asperin and putting it over your zits helps. Never tried it though. I've also found that stress can cause major acne, so try to think positive thoughts!

We shouldn't be blaming the autoers/gold farmers for ruining the game. It's the rich kids who buy their in-game items for cash. And if it gets any worse. New players won't have any choice but to buy their items from these people.

Well, I don't want to go too far off topic. We can't actually see an entire 4d sphere. We can only see slices of it that pass through our 3 dimensions. If we sliced an Onion into perfectly thin layers, they would look like circles. Similarly if we sliced a 4d Onion, we would get 3d spheres. There are many theories supporting the idea of a multi dimensional universe. It does make you wonder about where things in the universe come from. Like antimatter. What if a higher dimensional alien just "lifted" a piece of our world into the 4th dimension. To an observer on Earth, it would look as if a star just dissappeared. What if matter could leave our dimension as well? This might explain the big bang theory, and how a tiny ball of energy is able to expand to fill our current universe.

I've had similar thoughts. Imagine a 2d person living on a 3d sphere. To him, the universe seems to go on endlessly, whereas we can clearly see the boundries. It's possible that our universe is a 4D sphere. Meaning we could travel in any direction and we should end up where we started. Of course that's assuming the universe is shaped like a sphere. If it weren't, then space would be warped and twisted in ways that would make absolutely no sense to us humans.

I believe it is talking about the Enlightened Journey quest. Basket as in the compartment you stand in a hot air balloon.

my favorite is either the blue or red mask I think the masks look the best out of all the rares. Secondly, I've always wanted a disc of returning. Not for the money, but I just like the fact that it is a genuine rare item. Nobody expected it to be rare so very few collected it. Third, would be half wine, except I would never buy one because I'm afraid I might accidentally drink it. #-o

I've been trying to get a screenshot of some rs character closeups, but I can't find a good spot where lots of people are. Any ideas? I have found ardougne north bank to be a good place.

What if holiday items didn't count as a bank space? That way you could keep all of your holiday items and still have 60 bank slots for all your other stuff. Just a thought. :-$
