Knives have a +1 ranged bonus to darts, of the same material. Speed is the same, as long as you do the same mode of attack. But dart tips are made 10 out of a bar and require a quest + 1 feather for each dart. Knives are made 5 of each bar and are done. This is why darts are becoming more popular, as the difference is tiny and the way to make them (and thus profit) is greater!

Always people looking around for this fish. They are (raw) worth around 50gp ea. Salmons maybe 60ea. Not much demand, but you can always sell them.. a bit cheaper. Great side food. I bought 3k trouts when I became member, and have about 1500 left. To give an example ;)

I had one.. Then I had a second one ?!.. Dropped them as I will never reach the level required for them. Bank space > Spirit seed

O man! I thought some character had to show up their after you finished the quest (used in during the quest). I love the new random. Going to use my astral runes on that :P as I have no other current use for them.. I guess ^^

Ouch here man. Bad suggestion. Molten sells for 1k each. That will buy you 5 vials per molten. making vials is only 35xp per molten as well, so a pretty poor use of training time. It is an option :P as molten glass hardly sells. But it is a bad option, unless you do not care about money and do care about some 'free' crafting experience.. Hm, o yes. There is a vial shop at the 'general store' at morton's. Although far from good, if you have completed In Aid of Myreque and Shade's of Morton, you can use that shop and bank in Burgh da Rott. A bad store, but always has the vials stacked in 100. So if you cannot use the Hot Air balloons, this would a 'bad' alternative to the always crowded ardougne and taverley ones. But still the cheapest way remains farming. You could add the 'farming round' to your guide to soully farm herbs. I have been doing it for the last couple of days and found it a lot more fun then to do watermelons and flowers to. Just herbs is perfect! \ And profitable! A 5 minute round for.. usualy 20-30 herbs of your choice

Which stats of the monster does the spell give? which levels? Or just combat, HP level and max hit.

Well, astrals rune can be dubbeled at a certain level if I am not mistaking. And they cost around 70-80gp ea if you craft them yourselves. Oef, makes it expensive.. No tanning :(

I did combat potion (str+att) and super defence. Then d hides, zamarok book, climbing boots and helm of neitzhocht (SP?!). Used up .. 20 sharks during the 4 fights (4 forms.. so 4 fights).. its fun! Its great! have the reward! :D yay

No prayers may be used Constant hits around 10-17, I assume magic based attacks Level 78 monsters come across the room.. not strong (melee I think) Haven't killed it yet, bailed out 2x.. its strong

Be prepared for a big fight! magic based (and melee?!) lvl 300+ I got koed without prayer, So get ready for a BIG fight!

I got sceptic halfway through the guide. But you changed my mind, it is pretty good! Although I will continue the expensive way ;) as my time is more precious :twisted: I find this a decent alternative for those who construct on a tight budget. A nice find, well explained, I love it. Good job!

Still loving the guide A few things I have noticed: After some gathering of unicorn horns myself, I suggest taking 10 cowhides instead of the 5. They only drop 2-4 unicorn horns most of the time, the UniCows. With around 10 hides, you get an almost full inventory (not even full :( ) Another thing, cave crawlers are decent as they hardly require any walking. Put on rune armour and bring 2-3 trouts. If you get poisened you can heal from these if it is really nesecary. But you get a full load of herbs pretty fast as these die a lot faster then chaos druids! Using the fairy rings, you are at a back within .. seconds. You can use a anti-pot there. Also, you can heal your health with cheap trouts there to. (trouts as they don't cost jack, you can often get dozens for cheap prices or for free from other players/friends) So really, they aren't that bad. Also, they drop lots of marentils, which repays for the anti poison. They are great for level 1 - 39 herblawers. Nightshade. Isn't there a spawn during the watchtower quest. I am pretty sure there is. In the northern cave, between CW en yanille. I am pretty positive there is. Must have started Watchtower quest and have the map + a lantern. But it works :P And a last thing about vials. If you are training crafting in any way, you can make them out of molten glass! Some of us use the lunar spell to make lots of molten glass for easy crafting and magic experience. Instead of selling these, use them to make vials for extra crafting experience and ofcourse, easy herblore experience. Buckets can be gotten from Bert and seaweed, well.. if you can buy a batch cheaply or gather it yourself, your set!

Wow did prices change that fast already. Air runes can be solled 20ea on the forum for me. Also, for the higher levels, I counted 17ea as you talk Bulk there. The essence, my god, it skyrocketed. Feared it, but not going to adjust all the calculations again. Prices will drop back I hope :P and guess.

Exactly my gear. Only the lobsters I switch for monkfish \ Proselyte is good for everything armour. Cheap, strong, prayer bonus. The guthix book may be swapped for zamarok of saramodin to :P depends on requirements. But usualy zamarok, if there is no high level monster to fight. I always take a Spade, hammer, chisel, knife with me. And a house teleport as I have all portals and a mounted glory and altar in there. Also, much more important: ALL TOOL STORES (all the items you ever need!) That is basicly it!

They should go by world 1-2 and report all the auto-typers for macroing. Then we will see who laughs last. People forget about this kind of macroing to. A lot of people use this form of macroing.. not realising, basicly they are doing the same as autoers.

Thats so slow... but still I suppose safer than using a glory I wear black d hide top + bottom. A glory amulet and a rune pickaxe. I am skulled without prayer. So the total loot is about 100k when you kill me. Takes me half an hour to earn it. The chance of you killing me \ I laugh at them PK'ers

time to save up for a phat \ If, say.. The Phat is 100% at first of the summer. It will go to aproximatly 121% at the peek summer and will drop to 105-110% after the summer. Then it will raise again. If you want a Phat, get it now, or either use the time and buy it when it is dropping after the holidays. Everything between is a bad buy. (as far as I see how RS economy/RL economy goes ;))

Scimmed through it again. You noticed on the post on top of this page how I responded to the first version. This one is a lot better ;) Still I prefer my guide on World 16 Airs. Just one thing I have not looked yet, but did you change that people bought their essence? And you sticking with 15ea? I prefer 17-20ea (20ea for small amounts, 17ea at higher levels). A lot more reliable at current market to my opinion. It looks better now, allthough some lay-out work could be done. A nice guide though. (im a critic when it comes to Runecrafting : )
