Going to move this to "Rate This" forum, seems more appropriate there.

But Rants isn't really a fast moving forum. There is plenty of time to come back to a post that may be near page 4 and respond to it (putting it back to page 1). If a rant is worthy, it will take longer. Also if something is that popular to discuss in rants, it should probably be in Debates forum anyway. The reason so many are locked has nothing to do with that. Most are because there is a sticky they can/should use or it isn't really a rant. I've never seen (or locked) a rant because there used to be a rant about it that got deleted.

Actually for the Tanglefoot, the higher your farming, the better you hit it. If you have a low farming level, it's going to take a while to kill it.

If you lose your quest clothes (and staff), you can get replacements from the NPC near the astral altar (can't remember the name offhand). EDIT: Talk to the Oneiromancer to buy yor quest clothes and staff back, if you lose them.

Just a quick clarification, if you don't mind. Are you saying if Jagex completely wiped out F2P the game would still live on? Or am I reading this wrong? Actually, I'm not so sure it wouldn't keep going. It might go through a major decline but might bounce back. Jagex would have to completly redo how they market the game (advertising, etc). Look at all the other MMORPG's that don't have a free version, and they continue just fine. Mining Essence, one of the major ways f2p used to contribute to p2p. With the introduction of pure essence, it's obvious that members will do for themselves, if they have too. And as with Ginger_Warrior, what I meant about F2P and community, wasn't the actual in game type. But more along the lines of actual customers/consumers.

It may seem that others would be faster. But the time you get willows and the quick respawn of the tree makes them the fastest xp per hour.
