I think this whole incident has highlighted something. When participating in a war, make sure you have blatant pictures of the starting/ending options and if there is rulebreaking, make sure you have clear pictures of it. Not only does it save time, it will prevent unneeded confusion and incidents like this. Starting/ending options pictures can also be used as PR material so will benefit your clan.

Even if you don't use it for the increased run energy that it provides, it is also the best F2P ring because it has a +1 magic and +1 prayer bonus which will come in very useful when avoiding/casting binds and also so you can keep your prayer up for a bit longer. I don't see why it would be banned at all, it takes an hour to complete the whole diary and as it is for non-members as well, it is available to anyone and we shouldn't ban an item because a few clans have extremely lazy members. I also don't really know why "pooling" for infinite run isn't allowed by most clan rules either. For the fights that my clan is mostly in, infinite run and ancient mace specials are considered standard gear and in a matched options fight, you might be cut quite early on due to not having it. Some of our members are F2P, they still have to fight against those who have infinite run. It just encourages more effective binding and therefore brings a degree of skill into the war which I accept with open arms.
