Ooo, wait a minute, lemme find the story my friend and I made when we were bored on his 99 agility thread... \ Edit:Found it! : I edited his name out though. (He's Merp, I'm Spins, just so ya guys know) HOW MERP AND SPINS MET. By Merp and Spins PART 1: The Meeting it was a cold, dark night and I, Spins was training agility to 52 in my new Red d hide armour. I happened to come across a lvl 76 and asked his agility level. He said it was an amazing 78. And his name was... ________________ (a.k.a Merp). He was a strong man, attempting the unthinkable. 81 agility. Being that fastest man in the group of agiliters, he noticed the small red dot in the corner of his map.... I spins, had died by a trap. I had lost all my armour, and 26 tickets. I pmed the last person I had talked to, hoping they would get my stuff back. I ended up pming merp. I told him i had died, and my stuff was in the south west corner. He then said he'd look for it. He searched until he found it, and gave me my stuff back as I rushed to Brimhaven. He only found my food, but that was ok, seeing as he tried to help. I forever more had his name on my friendslist to remid me that there are good people in Runescape. Then one day i accidently pmed him.... PART 2: the Friendship "gah!, who is this noob?", i thought to myself. "isn't it that one guy that died?" Indeed it was. He told me that he "accidentally" pmed me. So i went along and there his quote was again! "another "accident"? Indeed it was again! After I could not take these "accidental" pms any longer, i started talking to him...... After keeping him on my friends list, I accidently started to Pm _____________. I did so for the next month accidently, and then finally he struck me up in conversation. We talked for a bit, and I popped the question of friendship. He accepted. Thats how Merp and I became friends. But wait there's more!.... PART 3: the Aftermath Alright, so Merp and Spins are friends right? Well what else it there left to tell? Maybe how they became such good friends? Yup, that's it. Well now that Merp and spins were friends, for the next 3 months or so, they'd pm, get into the casual conversation, but nothing major, no sign they were going to become some of the best friends in Runescape. But then one day when Spins was at the fishing guild, he met Merp in it. They stood around in the bank there for almost an hour just talking and talking...And that was the turning point in their friendship. They began to talk to each other more, and became quite close as friends. Then this thread was made (Merp's 99 Agility thread) and they had great conversations on the forum too...then one day Spins got teh idea for a how Merp and Spins met story, and here it is, in its full glory, showing the unique way Merp and Spins became awesome Runescapian friends.....to be forever continued. THE END Yeah, I know its not to good, but we made it to pass time and bump his thread up a bit (now at 121 pages btw :thumbsup: ). Also...we took turns writing it, some are mine, some are his. Last edited: December 13, 2010 Hello Tip.Iters! QUITTING NOTICE: As most of you have probably noticed by now, I'm never on RS anymore. I have quit. I pretty much quit in the summer, spending almost all my RS time on private servers, and when I did start getting back into real RS, dungeoneering was released. That was the final straw for me - I truly hate the skill, and I realized I just wasn't having any fun anymore. So I quit. I still haven't got around to canceling my membership, just in case I decide to come back at some point, but I doubt it. I have started playing League of Legends (LoL) and some Steam games lately (add me! Spalns (l = L) is my steam ID... I think?) and quite honestly, they are a lot more fun. If I did decide to come back, however, I would probably go and play a private server, for a few reasons. 1) Jagex has really messed up their game, at least in my opinion. 2) Customer service sucks. Seriously, look at almost any other game, even completely free games, and they have great CS, especially compared to RS> Jagex really is a pretty crappy company, now that I finally have something to compare it to. Now I no longer remember where I was going with this, but oh well.. See you guys around in IRC or some other games sometime, maybe. Was a fun 6 years, thanks for all the memories. It took me about a month to actually remember to try it, with the help of remembering it as "run-escape" :oops: . Anyways, from there I started up mining and smithing, and after I reached 18 combat I got members. From then I continued to get mining and smithing up until it became boring for me. Well, about 1.5 years ago, when I was still new to members, a PKer came along and died of poison. He dropped about 5m of stuff, and I got: Rune arrows Amulet of Glory Ring of Wealth. Unluckly though, I missed the black beret, black dragon hide, and ranger set

Ahh...My friend would love this topic. He loves agility, and is currently going for 99. But it's true, so few people train and like agility, it's like a tiny community. My friend met the #1 agilityest through his thread, and now they are friends, mainly because it was the only 99 agility thread. So, your right, people who like agility are very rare, but that creates a community of them. (If that didnt make sence to you, just ignore this post, it's not a very good one.)

Another thing... There would be a long wait period for the pker while you wait for you to pick your items... Green Dragon Killer: "Hmm.... Do i want my whip..no..my chain...nah, how about..." Pker#1: "Hurry up and drop your items!" Pker#2: "Hey! That guys skulled with rune and a whip! I'm going to pk him!" *attacks pker#1* Pker#1: *dies* "Noooo!! Isn't that pretty much the same concept a whip? Its strong...and as fast as a dagger. In fact, it has almost the same strength bonus as a Dragon Battle Axe.

I normally add them, and I normally get good friends. For example, about a year ago I met a guy killing hill giants who was level 23, and I was 39 combat. Well, we were killin tehm, and then aut of an act of kindness I gave the guy some food. We had a conversation for about 1 hour, then we became friends. He is now one of my best rs friends, and 103 combat (38 levels higher than me). I trust him a lot, and once even had him hold some of my stuff for me (farming supplies right after it came out). When i wanted it back he gave me it all back, plus about 2k patateo seeds and onion seeds, which was made my day : . And a ton of my other friends will help me out with anything. So I've learned that adding people can be a great way to get good friends, so I add all who ask "friends?", seeing as I get something out of it. :D
