I dislike this very, very much.... Mainly because I was pking, and a rat attacked me so I swiched from my auto-cast staff to my adamant scimatar, so not to waste runes, and then *Congratulations, you're defence level is now 2* (Because,now, when you swich from an auto-casting staff, the default is now defensive mode, not what you would normally choose, which I had no idea about at the time.), which got my pure an immidiate combat level, and that combat level almost got me killed. :wall: :evil:

I remember when everyone was hoping for Santa hats on Christmas 2004, and all the rubber chicken wars on easter..... Oh yeah and when i Had the chance to buy Santas 350k and mask sets 1m.... I never bought one.. #-o

I would have to say top 1000 overall. If you get this acheivment, you most likely have 99 of some stat (most likely fletching), and probably around 110-126 combat. And seeing as their are over one million accounts in runescape, this is a very, very good acheivment.

This doesn't seem like scamming to me... :-k I don't think you should get a black mark for this, no one in their right mind would sell their rare for the alch value. Anyways, if they did, it would be their desicion, so it would be like saying anyone who buys a rare for less than its worth is scamming... Doesn't make sence to me :-k .

I've thought of something like that to happen, but it's very unlikly... I lower my 30 defence to 1 in order to get 99 magic? Yeah, right. In other words it would be more like -30k xp, gain 5m xp. Won't happen sorry.

I collect frog tokens (only 15 atm), strange fruits (only 34), and I once had a collection of 651 burnt lobsters, which I gave away to future friends once I gained 80 cooking :D .

Ouch. I know how you feel, in a way, because my first Runescape friend, whom I had known for almost 2 years decided to scam me for 1m which was all the money I had... It's amazing what people would rather have than a friend... :(

They once had a system set up like this (with out the men and blue phats) called the black hole (or something like that) in RSC. To get in if weren't banned, you would have to buy a disk of returning for 3pg (I think) so you can get out again. Then Jagex removed this feature and now disk of returnings are worth millions.

This sounds like fun, I may come if I have time/remember. If I come I might drop a few items.... be warned most will be junk.

This was a good, well written article that many people can relate to. Good job on it. I agree with all the points in the article, and it helps clear up the reason behind rule 11(?), the one about talking about websites. Many people do not relieze this is for their own good, nor do they research into it and/or think about reasons for it. Also I do agree that we should mantain some sort of peace with jagex, but I know many people will just make more "0mg jagx is awful, i hte them!!!!! jagx scks!!" type of posts, because some people aren't mature, and don't know the effort needed to make a game of this scale run fairly smoothly.

Wow, your lucky free red dragon hide.... Must be having to do with you being a mod, because when I offer 50k for full red, everyone ignores me.... Congrats on the half key from the chest too, you can sell the dragonstone for 60k and then buy the other half key for 30-35k, get another dragonstone along with more stuff, sell the dragonstone, try to buy 2 half keys for 30k each, and repeat. You could make possibly good money that way :D . I hope more people end up taking an interest in this blog, I don't want this to become forgotten.... :(

I'm fishing 50k lobbies in my quest for 95 fishing, but for merchenting start-up money, I suggest getting raw lobs till 80 fishing then you can start sharks, but they'll still be pretty slow compared to lobsters (or so I've heard).

Well, if you want you can probably do hill giants if you have food. I know there are other good ones too, but I can't remember them at the moment, sorry.

Shortbow. Its faster, and longbows tend to be more expensive also.

Doesn't affect me, I never have gone to Baarrows, and I'm to low a lvl to try. Anyways, I'm more of a "buy-everything" person, not do 300 trips for full Barrow's sets. And I have a friend who will give me full sets since I've been such a good friend for a year. :D
