If you want to get a PC laptop, which you might find could be more-suited to your needs, but you want the mac OSX feel, you could check out Stardock.com and WinCustomize.com. Lots of software that lets you dramatically change the look and feel of windows. Also, you'll find that you can either have a nice light portable laptop, or a laptop that's good for gaming. You can go middle-of-the-road as well I suppose, but either way you won't entirely be able to have your cake and eat it too. EDIT: Maybe that was unclear.. Basically, the better-suited a laptop is for gaming, the heavier, hotter, and more power-hungry it will be. So if you get a really good gaming laptop, it'll probably be rather hefty, emit more heat than a normal laptop, and have considerably less battery life. If you want something light, cool, and with lots of battery life, you won't be able to play games well.

Nothing happens? No fans, no lights, nothing? Then it's probably PSU-related... If you get lights/fans or whatever, your problem is probably more complicated..

Mayjest, there is no way Harry will get back together with Cho. Apart from the obvious clues in the book, Rowling herself has said that Harry is done with her. As for other female characters - Ginny? Luna? Are you forgetting these? Not that I think he'll end up with either of these. It'll be a new character or no-one at all. He doesn't have to find love, y'know. Although, Rowling did say something along the lines of him having some romance.. As for the whole Bellatrix Lestrange protection whatever, I beleive that kind of thing would only work when a mother sacrafices herself for her son, or at least a very close family member.. I don't doubt that Neville will have something to do with the ending, but I don't think he'll be the one to finally do-in Voldemort.. I'm reasonably sure I saw something in book 5 that said it was certainly Harry the prophecy was talking about, not Neville..

The text placement actually isn't too bad.. The direction of the spin kind of balances it out.. Add a frame or two to the animation, there aren't enough between steps so it looks really choppy and doesn't make it look "real", if you know what I mean..

BMW- Rowling said that book 2 was pivotal to the plot of the series, and that one important chapter in this upcoming book was originally going to be in book 2. Also, one of the chapter names in HBP is "Spinner's End". Aragog would be the obvious conclusion.. As for Dumbledore doing something "dodgy".. The "look of triumph in his eyes" was in book 4, when Harry was telling him what Voldemort had done. The popular theory on this is that Voldemort is now human-enough to be killed once and for all, and that the triumph would be good's triumph over Voldemort..

It was at least five or six-hundred pages.. 0.0 My friend and I's theory after seeing the back cover: The death-eaters come after Hagrid for some reason, and grawp or aragog die in the process of (trying?) to save him. I don't think Hagrid will die, but my friend seems to think otherwise.

Hm, I really don't think it's the memory, because this is a program-specific thing. I've actually had a more repeatable problem with UT2004 in the past, and that turned-out to be an XP service that I didn't really need, turned it off fixed it. I'm also 99% sure it's not the PSU, or at least not the size, as I have a 500w.. Will read that post a bit more, though, Hannibal, thanks..

I've read the first 3 about 5 or 6 times now, the 4th book maybe 3 or 4, and the 5th book twice.. Am on my 4th/5th reading of the 4th book and will soon start on my 3rd reading of the 5th book in preperation for the new release :)

Getting it at Midnight when it comes out..doubt I'll be the first to finish it, though.. Anybody got theories on plotlines? Also, please no out-and-out spoilers here.

Alright, this has happened twice thus-far. Randomly, while exiting UnrealTournament2004, I get a computer restart. EventViewer shows these to be the error codes: Error code 10000050, parameter1 e825ff24, parameter2 00000000, parameter3 bfa8b7c8, parameter4 00000001. Error code 10000050, parameter1 e7731964, parameter2 00000000, parameter3 bfa8b7c8, parameter4 00000001. Just started happening, doesn't happen every time I exit. No new programs installed recently, no hardware changes etc. Done a HJT and haven't found anything obvious. Virus/AdAware/Spybot scanned and turned-up nothing. Thanks in advance for any help. :)

Are you building this yourself? No offense, but you don't sound like you know fully what you're doing..

Actually, making the media board a non-sig board and having the sig market a simply everything sig's board was discussed when we made it; it was pushed heavily by me, in fact. However it was deemed that it would work better in the overall scheme of things to go with the system we have now.. I doubt a sub-forum would happen. But we may re-appraise the organization of the 2 media boards.

Just because you pay them doesn't mean they have legal right to give you legal right to something they don't have legal right to.. Also, I beleive gamewallpapers.com is a site where you can download wallpapers to use on your desktop? I don't think it's intended as a stocks site. . . Also, you are the one that's mistaken. Unless you specifically give credit to whoever did whatever, and sometimes not even then, you don't have legal right to do anything with the image other than look at it and modify it for your own use. Sometimes not even the latter.

There are a couple problems with cracking down on this.. 1. The sheer number of posts- It's very difficult to go through every post, and look at things and decide which ones violate any rules we have etc. 2. The ambiguity of things.. It's hard, if you start cracking down on things, to not crack down on other things. If we start cracking down on game renders, we'd have to crack down on anime stuff, brushes, etc, then the workload just shoots up.. However, if somone links us to a post where somone is ripping, and you can give us proof, we can definitely go about giving that person the treatment they deserve. Also, I know this should go up in post somewhere, but, I'll put it here.. Within the copywright laws, there's a section on fair and appropriate use or whatever. Generally when people use game renders/anime whatever, it's pretty obvious that it wasn't created.. and there's where the ambiguity comes in.. I will, however, speak to the admins again about running contests. Seeing how well it's working on other forums may be an incentive. :)

Erm that means that people are born with it right? Well if thats what you mean, its correct. People are born with a sexual prefrence. I dotn have any hard proof but thats what the public health nurse (im assuming she has more experience in this kind of stuff then any other person on these forums) at my school said. Most kids in my class were shocked, cause they thought people just dicided to be like that, but it wasnt so. I answered my question though, How homosexuals are. Or perhaps... i should ask an expert. MK, have you alwasy had these kind of feelings? And thusly, we've stumbled into one of the oldest debates.. nature vs. nurture.. It's not proven that homosexuality is hereditary, or at least I haven't seen any studies on it or anything. But it's possible. It's also possible that you're born with other biological things that determine your sexual preference. It's equally as likely though, I think that you aren't born with any sexual preference, and you develop it or learn it or whatever..
