where did the dwarf picture come from?
  2. It was a double-post, I'll lock this one.
  3. Try searching the boards, I believe there have been several topics of this sort before... If you can't find anything, just look at other people's pixel sigs. If you have no idea whatsoever how to do them, then you most likely won't be able to make them.
  4. I have worse stats than that, Slicer, and I have a net worth of well over 30 mil..
  5. Here's how ya shade.. Pick a light color, and a dark color.. Color one side with one of the colors, color the other side with the dark color, then, fill in the space in-between with colors in-between the dark and light one... It's really difficult..
  6. If you're doing only digital-output, 72 DPI will suffice.. If you're scanning/printing though, yeah, crank it up to 200-300 dpi.. Also, having a higher DPI on a digital-oriented peice is the same as making it larger. So, just make it larger and then scale it down, if that's what you want to do..
  7. Mastersigmaker, please don't bump until your post is off the first page, or, more preferably, not at all. The drawings are nice, although I think you're seriously wasting talent on anime. You may think it's cool, but, it's seriously run-of-the-mill. I've not seen a really original anime ever... The lightsabers are cool, although some of them look more like magic staff things of some sort, they just don't fit with Star Wars' ultra-ultra-modernism..
  8. Who said I was talking to UT in particular?
  9. Nice job stereotyping, assuming, inferring, and not listening to anything anyone has said..

He told me that he modeled the shark a long time ago using tutorials...
  11. Also please see the sticky about blood/gore.. Stick people gore is gore all the same. :P

So, you stick a cone on top of a cylinder, and call it an arrow, yet, you spend posibly hours editing a mesh to create a fairly accurate shark head? That makes perfect sense.

You still haven't told me which program you're using. Also, how is it that you spend hours working on a shark model, and then spend 2 minutes on arrows? Oh, and if you could, just give me a breif description of the tools you used to model the shark.
  14. What part of it did you do in C4D? I could make something very similar in bryce in a fairly short ammount of time..
  15. Overall nice..but..there's a few things I don't like.. The top of the snout looks..I dunno..wrong, somehow...too flat or something.. The angle that the left (our left) front leg comes down at somewhat bothers me, doesn't look wholly natural. The mouth makes him look happy instead of sinister..like he should look.. ;) The tail curving at the bottom is making the tail look paper-thin.. I really like the rest of it, though, the wings are nice, the plating on the neck is nice, the spine is cool... That's a nice font, too.. :)

Aurarid, I fail to see how you could possibly go from not being able to do any character models, to modeling/texturing fairly decent sharks within the span of 24 hours. Unless you have permission to be using those models I'd suggest that you take them off any sigs you're selling. Also, please don't bump your post until it's on the second page at least. (If you did in fact make the models, some how, please pm me with exactly which program you used to make them, and maybe a screenshot of the wireframe in the program.)
  17. The second one looks more like bizarro superman than the real superman..
  18. Cleaned up the post. Please refrain from spamflaming.
  19. Locked at Author's Request. WiseTSM, Mysticaznone, don't be jerks.
  20. I think he means that, like on a cube for instance, he wants to use a seperate material on each side, instead of one material for the entire object.
  21. I'm really lovin' the fur around the eyes. Looks spectacular.
  22. Looks very nice, all from scratch? Also, my Japanese is really rough..but...Chisai neko o oishii desu. :) :P

Sorry, but I must be harsh here... Congratulations, you've made several templates that are 99.9% exactly alike 48,862 other templates on the web. You know how many of those 48,682 templates made it to a succsesfull website? 0, maybe 1. I'm not trying to be mean, I really am trying to help you. You don't want to waste your time. If you want to practice, look around the web at some really successful websites, I mean like really successful ones. Study them, try to figure out what makes their design so appealing.
