  1. Yeah..that's what I thought. He sent me the .psd though, and unless he stole the .psd from somewhere, he did it...
  2. There aren't any "must have" fonts. Don't use a font because it's "cool-looking" or "popular", use it because it fits whatever you're using it with.
  3. Stop spamming, Moosh.
  4. Oh, no, I didn't realize there were so many posts in between mine and the one I was replying to.. That was the one that ___ thought demented had stolen off of google or whatever...
  5. Perhaps you're thinking of this? Looks nothing like Demented's, really..
  6. Also it'll look a lot nicer if you do each feather individually, so it looks like you actually spent time on it, and not just copy-pasted and rotated a few times.. In regards to the text under the name, I personally think it would look nicer if it was all one color. You want to emphasize everything, not just a word or two.
  7. I told you not to use filters. It's also too large.
  8. You can't fix it. Start over, don't use filters.
  9. Here's a tip for ya: If you can't make anything without filters, then you can't make anything with filters.
  10. Moosh, first keep in mind that what I'm going to say is coming from me, not from me as a mod.. Don't try to argue with Keiphus on this, I assure you that he knows far more about the subject and has much more experience in the professional world.
  11. Well, it is fairly well-done, and crisp, but it's not terribly original... So, work on some more interesting/original designs.. Also, I don't really like the gradient effect, they give the appearance of the leaf being cylindrical, which I don't think you want..
  12. Please don't spam, NACHO.
  13. I'm not saying you ripped it, I'm just saying it's not exactly hard to move a few sliders to pose a pre-made model.
  14. I never said you ripped it. From my first post, all I said was that I didn't think it should be even posted, because you didn't make it.
  15. I have in fact used the programs before, which is why I knew you were basically playing doll.
  16. Yeah...you're not getting that I don't like it because you basically played with a doll and called it your own work. Did you make the background? If so in what program? Can we see the original?
  17. Yeah...like I thought.. I can dress a woman too, and put her in front of a fancy backdrop, but that doesn't make me a clothing designer, a seamstress, and a set painter, now does it?
  18. Well, I don't think he exactly ripped it... If I remember correctly though, everything is premade. Kind of like using premade brushes in photoshop...
  19. Since you didn't really do any work, I don't think this is worthy of any comments or criticism. The only part it seems you did do, the text and the border, don't fit the render at all.
  20. Been brought up numerous times. Search. It is legal.
  21. Tell me how you made it....depending on how you made it I either think it's pretty cool, or cliche and lame.. :)
  22. Jab, don't get sucked into pixel, for the sake of art, don't get sucked into pixel. You should try doing some digital painting, or vector work, or something that involves drawing that's not pixel.

You know what? You can also hold 30 large sharks in your inventory, and eat them one by one in a matter of seconds. You'd think they'd make this fantasy video game more realistic...geez..
  24. You should try making a full-sized peice instead of just a sig.
  25. UTSnyper, the last time I checked, Adobe Photoshop CS was the industry standard raster-graphic manipulation program. There are probably a lot of places that haven't upgraded yet though and are still using 7 or maybe even 6..
