  1. I prefer quests that are fun for some time afterward over quests which get you 10 min of fun and are over with nothing to show for it.
  2. Nah, usually I get like 500 gp.
  3. Why are most of you flaming him? He brings up a very important point. Jagex is pumping out new updates which haven't been thought out faster then Britney Spears is losing panties. To everyone saying "I like the new updates", which would you like more? Spending 10 min to get a purse every week, or spending a few hours doing some giant quest with multiple built in minigames and an awesome reward with great replay value every month? I know what I would choose. The Drunk Dude says it perfectly:
  4. I kinda hope they don't add more skills. It's kinda like quests, how many quests have you done that made you think, "This is such crap, I wish they would take their time and made this quest decent before releasing it, instead of releasing a piece of crap just to keep everyone happy."? Just look at hunter. Fun skill to level, but no decent end game rewards. Sure, the capes that take away some weight are nice, and those throwing animals that explode are good range exp, but why should you level hunter to 99? What's the point? Personally, I wish they would finish the OTHER SKILLS before adding a new one. Add some level 90+ rocks to mine, some level 90+ monsters to slay, finish the runecrafting skill, ect ect ect.
  5. That used to be true, before pest control. wow guys! im trayingn a pure today, it's 80 cb now! >(i started yesterday) Yup. if (pestControl = false) { if (highStats = true) { stats = respect; cout << "Stats can sometimes show respect!"; } else { cout << "Your stats aren't high!"; } } else { cout << "Lol, pest control is out."; } (Just because my idea for code was both clever and ignored.)
  6. That used to be true, before pest control.
  7. Okay, you have a theory. Now go do 1000 runs of 6 brothers and 1000 runs of splitting the brothers up. Hopefully you will see a trend with this very small amount of data.
  8. if (pestControl = false) { if (highStats = true) { stats = respect; cout << "Stats can sometimes show respect!"; } else { cout << "Your stats aren't high!"; } } else { cout << "Lol, pest control is out."; } In all seriousness though, I don't think it's as simple as saying that high stats grant maturity.
  9. How does that make sense? No one has it, but it still exist..... Until it appears in the game, it is not there. like I said, the possibility for it to be there exists, the item does not. Just because no one has read a page of a book doesn't mean the page doesn't exist. Just because a species of fish hasn't been discovered yet doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Just because no one has fought a boss on a game yet doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Similarly, just because a player doesn't have an item in a game yet doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Trust me on this, I'm a programmer. An item MUST be real before a player can get it, unless the player is programming this item in.
  10. As I said earlier, there are 2 now. It cannot be the slayer cape, as there are no untrimmed ones. I am not saying it is not possible, I am saying that an item that doesnt exist cannot be rare. If so, the question "whats the rarest non-rare?" would be pointless. Just because no one has an item doesn't mean it doesn't exist. It's still been programmed into the game, and therefore is a real item.
  11. You can't judge what you don't know... =; This month sounded good to me- that is, until I remembered that jagex is the one releasing it. No offense, but jagex's "high level" updates are usually far from high level. I would prefer a quest that required 80 or 90 to all melee skills, or something of the sort. (Even if I couldn't do it yet.)
  12. Err...actually... My closest moment that I can think of would be the time I thought I was hacked. I had always logged out when the "system update" message appeared, but one time I wasn't really paying attention to the screen and it booted me. When I couldn't log back in otherwords I almost started to panic when a friend IRL told me he couldn't log back in either, and that it was just a server thing. :)
  13. I'm pretty sure that I'm tip.it's official monster, or at least it's official bloodveld. :P
  14. Do you have msn? if so, type in (h) and you'll see what it means  If not... and I think the 'h' means 'hot' or something? :-k Nope. (h) = (H) = A pair of sunglasses.
  15. Anyone else besides me wish that they would have just one good, big update a month instead of 4 crappy ones? Maybe a bit of variety, for example one week they'll introduce a short mini quest, the next will just be some tweaks and give them some time to work on a great quest for the next week. I'm not fond of all the little quests, they don't seem like quests... just like short distractions with not much purpose. Yep, exactly. Anyone else besides me wish that they would have just one good, big update a month instead of 4 crappy ones?Quite soon they'd get the flood of "OMG WE NEED UPDATES" rants.Who cares? They whine about everything else anyway.
  16. Before I reset my recovery questions, (when I had a keylogger and didn't want to take any chances), my date was the same date. (I have a screeny somewhere on my comp.) I'm almost positive that that is the date that the recov question option was released.
  17. Anyone else besides me wish that they would have just one good, big update a month instead of 4 crappy ones?
  18. I could have sworn that I posted here already... Oh well, my lucky items are my fury ammy and my mud staff. :D your avvy. :) Dragon warrior/quest ftw! :D
  19. you know you want to make a jubster You caught me. Stop lying to us and give us the FACTS next time. Dag gum noobie I've been here longer than you could walk, smack yo tone plz. http://forum.tip.it/profile.php?mode=viewprofile&u=15722 Ha nub, I was here first. I just created a new TIF account because I wanted a cooler name and the admin told me that if I wanted to change it, then I had to make a new account. (I stopped using the old one.) Dag gum noobie I've been here longer than you could walk, smack yo tone pl0x. Also, "hawt". It's true, it's almost as if they were like "well we said we were going to do necromancy...." "eh, give them this" That's what I'm worried about. -.-
  20. Yep, the game is getting easier. Thats most likely becuase you play 30minutes a day if that I've played that long and more, playing a number of hours per day, yet i don't have a 99.... Me neither, but that really doesn't mean anything besides the fact that we don't have the attention span to cut 50k logs or fish 100k lobs. :P I wanted to point out that maybe he doesn't like leveling noncombat skills or finds them boring so he only kills monsters like fire giants. I wanted to, but then I read that yes, he did play pest control for a full month.
  21. I know the topic is basically over, but I do admit it would be nice if we could post links on the official forums. :P
  22. For the 2007 pic, I think that maybe you should take a different approach. Instead of just accepting small rs screenshots of the characters, why not say that the pictures entered can be anything, but must fit in a 100x100 box and include your TIF name inside the box? Also, save the final thing as a png. ;)
  23. you know you want to make a jubster You caught me. Sure ya do, did you also know if you put a kalphite and KBD head on it you face the queen/king black dragon? yes thats right an orientation confused fire breather. Wonder what happen when you put an attention seeker and a forum together :-w dag nub sorry you were dum enough to try it just trying to make ppl laugh and btw i was posting on these forums b4 u were born so watch your tone when u address me kiddo :XD: I love it when I see these kind of posts, especially when the moron talking is serious.
  24. So, does anyone see a real reason to do this quest? The exp rewards are bleh, and the items dropped by these monsters don't seem to be very good.
  25. It isn't summoning, its creating your own monster and fighting it. :D I mean, someone please tell me that this isn't jagex's excuse for summoning, and we can't expect any better. EDIT: Thank you turbosnail1. :D
